I don't care what type of day I'm having, this place makes it better instantly. They often have great deals. The last time I went they gave me some free cheese sticks with my purchase. It was very nice of the workers to let me sample a few options before deciding, and the customer service was smiley and friendly just as you would expect for such a classy and beautiful spot. I highly recommend this one if you need to decompress or just if you want to get out and enjoy the sun on your skin.

The company who was repping Zenner was Hill Country Express. I need to brag loudly about the fine young man, RJ, who was working the stand. He had perfect manners, was a good sales person without being pushy, and thanked me for stopping. He even told me how much he loved having one of the Zenner peaches for breakfast. Give this young man a raise and let him train every person in retail everywhere!

On our visit there was a beer vendor, wine tasting along with a traveling pizza oven making pizzas. This is not a big farmers market and there were just over a dozen vendors. Four of them were cooking up food. Plenty of picnic tables to sit at in the same park that hosts the annual October fest. They even had a folk singing duo which added to the ambience.

Since nothing else will compare in your adventures!! The store offers an impressive selection of gourmet foods, sauces, seasonings, and specialty products that are perfect for gifts and/or enjoying at home. My favorite purchases were the balsamic vinaigrettes. I also enjoyed sampling the various jellies, jams, and dip mixes before making my selections. The spice rubs and seasonings were another standout, offering unique flavors that are perfect for grilling and cooking. The staff was super friendly (Mason was my most favorite employee) he was patient and opened jars that weren't readily available. I ended up buying jars of everything he opened for me! What a great salesman and wonderful human! It was a memorable experience. If you're visiting Fredericksburg, Lock, Stock & Barrel is a must-stop destination for high-quality Texas-made products and unique gourmet treats. Usually I love it when stores offer samples because it's easy for me to weed out the things that I thought I might have wanted, but then didn't enjoy. At Lock Stock & Barrel, it's damning, because each item tastes better than the last and I start filling my arms with more than I can carry! If you're not careful, you will spend a fortune in here... But if you are careful, where's the joy? The only suggestion I have for this place is that they start carrying their shirts in larger sizes. In addition to the syrups and honey and dips in my arms, there was also a shirt I wanted to pile on the top of my haul but I had to forgo that one because their largest size was a medium :( Definitely bring your tastebuds and your sense of adventure and of course your wallet and have a great time here!

I have found great items from food to cosmetics to pet goodies. I was grateful to find they have many options even though they are on the smaller side. When it is cold I often come for the warm and ready gumbo and tortilla soup. Their low carb ready to go meals have made my life so much easier during the busy week. They even have sourdough fresh made in the bakery. I usually end up here over most other stores for my main groceries due to the always pleasant experience. It does tend to get pretty crowded and parking can be tricky. So I often come during early hours during the week.
