    Championship Game got the ring

We've been with Lyceum for nearly three years, starting with our daughter, and now our youngest shas also joined their phenomenal basketball program. Thanks to Lyceum's dedicated training, our daughter has not only grown tremendously but has also surpassed many of her peers. After just five months, our son is already showing impressive improvement and a deep love for the game. If you have a child interested in basketball, I highly recommend the program Lyceum offers--it's been an incredible journey for our family!

Loooooooove Lyceum Village. This place is run by the most amazing people who truly care about your children and their academic development. My 2 boys love coming here and they are especially careful to take necessary covid precautions which I am grateful for. The staff is really top notch and does a great job communicating with parents about everything that is going on with my kids. Thank you Lyceum for being there and creating a safe place for our children during these crazy times.

Is there a program for transitional kindergarten students? And is there a program for TK kids who need care from 11:30-5:30?

Hi Sandra - Unfortunately, we do not offer any services prior to 2 PM. Our program is best fit for students 7 years old or older whose parents are seeking specific afterschool activities such as Piano, Violin, Basketball, etc.

Do they offer weekend volleyball for girls?

Unfortunately, we do not offer Volleyball during the weekends at this time. Thank you for your inquiry.

How do you get to the gymnasium area?

The address is 14281 Chambers Road, Tustin, CA 92780. If you have a more specific question regarding our sports programs, please email us at lyceumvillage@gmail.com

PROS: - The place is huge, physically and metaphorically. Although there may be a lot of other customers on the premises, once you lock into your climb, it's just you and the wall. (And of course, your belay who has got your rope and back.) Plus, there are so many different rock climbing levels to choose from, that you'll never ever get bored. - There this coach there named Mason. He's an ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT TEACHER. I watched him train my buddy for his Belay certification, and the dude was energetic, positive and totally professional. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: Give Mason a raise !!! - There is an area in the corner with pull-up bars and weights, so if you need to build up your arm back strength, they've got you covered. There's also a cool coffee machine near the front desk, so if you need a caffeine rush, they've got you covered. - Really nice atmosphere. People from all demographic backgrounds having a really good time. CONS: - Lots of customers with cars, so parking can get crowded. But this is SoCal, what else is new. CONCLUSION; Want a new challenge while having fun? Give this place a try.

There were actually staff available to help out, and the vibe was just so much better. It did take a bit for folks to get started with the harnesses and helmets, so the kids didn't have as much time to climb, which was a bit of a bummer because it took them a bit to warm up and gain some confidence with climbing! Sender City is pretty awesome and the self-belay system is pretty cool too.

And we're checking with the reception every week to see if it is her turn. For 6 month every week the reception lady said my daughter is number 1 in the wait list. Very disappointing! How can she see me every week asking and they don't bother to make a call or text when it is my daughter's turn. Now probably it will take another 6 months of wait because she is number 2 on the waitlist! Seriously no sense of customer care for these kids and no respect for parents at this business!

Communication from staff is inconsistent, policies are unclear, and parents are given conflicting information depending on who they speak with. After being told one thing in person by staff, I later spoke with Liz, who provided completely different information with no acknowledgment of the earlier guidance. As a result, a reasonable request regarding already-paid classes was denied due to staff miscommunication. When I was at the gym in person, I specifically asked to speak with the manager, Taylor, but she refused to come out and instead said she would call me. That call never happened. The lack of accountability and follow-through only added to the frustration. We have been members for over two years and currently have another child enrolled, yet there was no flexibility or effort to resolve the situation fairly. For a business that serves families and children, this level of customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this gym based on how poorly concerns are handled.

As parents of nationally…read moreranked teen and pre-teen athletes, we knew we needed a trainer who focused + specialized in working with kids -- someone who understands their growing bodies/joints and can develop a program that keeps them strong, motivated, and injury-free. After trying a few trainers, we feel incredibly lucky to have found J at Fit First. Not only do they bring top-tier, experienced trainers to our home (which makes scheduling so much easier), but the level of expertise, patience, and motivation our trainer and the admin team provide is unmatched. Having worked with personal trainers ourselves at high-end gyms like Sports Club (now Equinox), we know what great training looks like -- and this is it! The workouts are engaging, well-structured, and designed to instill healthy physical and mental habits that will benefit our kids now and in the future. We are very happy.
