I truly don't understand the positive reviews--this was hands down the worst manicure I've ever received. I specifically asked for a full set of acrylics and instead got gel polish on my natural nails. When I asked if she was going to apply acrylics, she brushed it off and said my nails were "long enough" and didn't need them. The so-called "manicure" involved tearing up my cuticles and roughly buffing my nails. She didn't bother to shape them, so each nail was a different length and shape. If you're not going to do acrylics, at least put in the effort to make the manicure look clean and consistent. I asked for yellow nails with pink polka dots, something that didn't take much effort and still looked an absolute mess. To top it off, the polish was smeared under my nails and all over my cuticles. Honestly, it looked like something a toddler would've done. It took her in total 20 minutes to do, and she was rushing to finish my nails though no one else was there until I was finishing up. My nails also chipped off within one day of having them, which has NEVER happened to me. Yes, the price was cheap, she was nice, but it was still the biggest waste of $40 I've ever spent. read more

1 star is too much to give them. I walked in at 5:30 on July 5th (my birthday) and google said they closed at 7. Tony was outside smoking and rushed us to go in and said nothing until he had finished filling my nails and then said they closed in 5 minutes (5:40) I said we could leave but he urged us to stay he did the shaping and his wife painted. 3 of my nails were rising by the time we got home and even for a fill that is fast. We went back the next day and I was immediately yelled at then pointed to a sign that was covered up saying no refund he was upset and did not offer to fix them at all. It was an EXTREMLY hostile situation that ended with me crying and then saying there was nothing they could do or would do. My boyfriend and myself just wanted to leave and I wouldn't recommend LV nails to anyone read more

Worst manicure ever. only one there, I have my old dip removed, and then reapplied. they had me soaking my entire hand in nail polish remover for 15 minutes it was excruciating and I had a French manicure and it's horrible. I wanted rounded tips. I got square I had to go home and re-file my nails. read more

My experience wasn't bad but it was also not the best where I'd go gaga about it. The outside and inside of the place looks outdated. They have a sign that says they preferred if customer pays cash, they have an atm machine that charges $2 per transaction. I walked in and it was packed, I decided to try since there's not much around to get nails done. When you walk in they'll ask you to sign in and choose which service to get. I asked how long is the wait and they said "they don't know" I waited for a good hour and they put me in the pedi chair. The chair is just like a massage chair but the chair makes an annoying noise so I didn't bother to use it(personally it would've been better if it didn't have a noise). The guy that did my nails did an ok job. I paid $65 for gel manicure and the works service for pedi. The one thing I like about it is the fact that it's cheaper than I'm used to Update: it's only been 9 days since I got my nails done and my gel nail colors are off and so is the gel. With that being said I am upset and not recommending this place. I am not coming back. I wasted my time and money this is horrible! read more

I went in one day for a pedicure and was out in a short amount of time. Decided to make an appointment for my nails 2 days later. Only waited 30 mins (they were kinda packed close to closing time so whatever) and Jimmy put in a young guys seat. I told him what I wanted and he said no problem. I was surprised that I got exactly what I wanted, a simple pink powder full set. A sharp square nail that looked just like something I'd get back home. We chalked it up the whole time and it was cheap! Does this place look kinda janky? Yes. But don't sleep on them, I'm not going anywhere else in this hole until I leave lol read more

This place was nice and clean. The owners were very polite, professional and did a great job on my pedi. The treatment was fantastic. Tony was gentle and not at all rough on my feet. I felt very relaxed and the overall experience was great. Side note: While my feet were soaking a woman came in to ask if they could fix/glue one of her nails and Tony did it real quick for her for free, which I thought was very generous of him. I got dip and my nails starting chipping a few days after I got them. They also didn't clean up the edges around the nail and cuticles, so the edges are jagged and on my cuticles. It was pricey considering they didn't do a great job. read more

I just want to say DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! This place was and is absolutely TERRIBLE!! I asked for a very simple nude pink dip powder with a tip. He said he could do it no problem. He put the nails on and immediately I could tell they were too big for my nails and he was barely even putting them on, he then realized after the fact when he want to do my length and the tip of the nail fell off... so he fixes that and cut them ALL TYPES of different shapes and lengths (also crooked) I asked him "I want them short and are these going to be straight" he said "yes I'll fix" so he then began to do the powder he dipped my fingers at least 7 times and they began to look VERY clumpy and still could see the fake tip. He then asked "does this look good" I'm sitting there looking at my uneven clumpy nails still looking at the fake tip. I say "I can still see the fake nail" and it went all downhill from there. He stared yelling at me INFRONT of everyone, I was extremely mortified and embarrassed. He said it was my fault and it was because my color I picked out. Which makes no sense I get the same nail Everytime I get my nails done. I tried to tell him again you could see the fake nail and if he could please fix it. He started yelling at me and over talking not letting me say anything. The then said "get up I'm done with you, go over there" I don't have time for you I have other customers" so he puts my hand in a bowl for over 25 minutes of acetone. My hands and fingers were literally burning. I still have red irritation and burning feeling on my hand. After all of that I STILL have acrylic all over my finger nail and hands. I'm pretty disappointed with this place. It took me roughly 3 hours to get a powder dip manicure and pedicure and they honestly just look terrible (and I called ahead to make an appointment). This is probably the worst powder dip I've ever gotten. I attached pictures to show what I mean. I think they were just very rushed having just opened, but even still - this is not good. They did not file over and smooth out my nails after the dip which is something I've had done everywhere else I've ever been. My pictures are ONE day after getting them done. The only positive things I have to say are that Tony is very nice, and everything about the pedicure good except for the actual painting! read more

Seriously? Heidi, the owner's wife gives THE best pedicures at the lake!! Become a regular, tip her good and you'll get a great massage (painfully good) extras and beautiful feet. But make an appt, come early or after 5pm or risk waiting a long time. If you have ever gotten any work done at any nail shop in the US that is run by the hardworking Vietnamese people, know that it is their custom to never say "no" to a client, no matter how tired they are, how busy the day is, or how late it is. Consequently, you may have to wait for a couple of hours for a service, so choose your hours wisely and COME WITH TIME TO BURN!! 1 star is 1 TOO MANY. I am absolutely disgusted at my experience at a new nail salon I tried in Osage Beach, MO. Do NOT go to L.V. Nails in Osage Beach, MO. Right off the bat, his cuticle care was very rough and he made 3 of my nails bleed. When I told him something he was doing hurt, he told me "this doesn't hurt. I've never been told it hurts. You're sensitive" and I said "i must be the first then because this hurts very bad" and he said "no. This been my technique for 15 years and I've never had complaints. Your fingers are tender and are the problem. I have return customers for over 10 years and they never complain like this" So then he was irritated and applied the powder very quick and sooo thick. I got tips with powder. They were DISGUSTINGLY applied. So when he ran the machine over them, they weren't getting any better and I asked him if he would clean them up more and he told me "I am done. No" these photos were after he told me he was fun with the dremel machine. so after I asked AGAIN, can you clean them up more and he said "no they look good and I am done." He asked me "is this your first time getting your nails done ever?" When I explained how my nails were rectangle and I've been getting my nails done for 12 years and I have never had them look this bad, he grabbed my hand and aggressively started clipping them off with clippers. And said "we will just start new from scratch" He screamed at me because I was taking photos. He was so rude and so unprofessional. To top it off, the family that was in there were ofcourse regulars and were RECORDING ME. My damn honeymoon is tomorrow and I have never in my life been so sad and stressed. read more

The only benefit to my experience was the treatment to my legs and feet. Heidi gave me the sea salt and wax treatment followed by a leg and foot message .... she did a wonderful job. The pedicure was not so great. I asked for short. She did not ask what shape and gave me straight with sharp edges. Her pedicure work had little care for the customer. I thought I would treat myself to a basic manicure when I saw there was no other clients. She rushed through that too. Barely touched my cuticles with the tool, left my nails uneven and they snagged things. Again she did not ask what shape. Ick. I had to home and redo my nails. The atmosphere was not comfortable in general. Tony was pointing and firmly telling Heidi and the other lady what to do and he went outside and smoked. I will not be going back. read more

The pedicure was probably the best pedicure I have gotten and for a great price! $30 for a regular pedicure and they really take care of you. Great atmosphere and great staff. AWFUL. Go ANYWHERE else. My mom and I visited LV Nails on a Saturday, and while we were able to get right in, we were quickly disappointed. The owner seems to be very old school, stubborn and stuck in his ways. My mom wanted a gel french manicure, and Tony gave her acrylic tips. She kept telling him she didn't want the tips and he insisted they would be better. When it came to shaping them, she asked him to file them shorter (because she didn't want tips) and he refused to go any shorter because he thought "it was too short." I asked for a dip/powder manicure, which he said he would refuse to do (even though he had the materials to do it). He then gave me a 5 minute lecture on why dip/powder is bad for your nails and gel/acrylic is better. He said he would do an acrylic overlay with a gel finish - this sounded weird to me but I went along with it for the sake of ease. Needless to say, it was the absolute WORST manicure we both had ever received. The manicure not only looked terrible, but my nails felt rough and had jagged edges and it began to chip almost 2 days later. Not only that, but my fingers were literally bruised the day after for all the pressure he put on them. I had to have the whole manicure redone by another salon 4 days later. The pedicures were decent (because they were done by the ladies and not Tony), but my gel pedicure began chipping a week later. Do not go here for a manicure.
