(1/5 stars) I usually go to Miracle Nails for my eyebrows…read moreand have always been happy with their work. But my recent experience getting a gel manicure was extremely disappointing. First, the tech didn't even have me wash my hands before he started painting so the polish was applied over dirty nail beds. He also cut one of my fingers during the process, and while I reacted in pain, he just looked surprised and didn't apologize or acknowledge it. I showed him a simple nail design I wanted, but he refused to do it, saying he couldn't, and instead talked me into a plain royal blue French tip -- which was not what I wanted. To make things worse, the paint isn't even fully covering the sides of some of my nails. A couple of my nails are crooked, and the gel is applied so thickly that they just look bulky and uneven. To also add I wanted some length to my nails and he didn't want to do that either. I paid $95 and I left feeling frustrated and honestly embarrassed by how my nails turned out. I won't be going back for services.

I'm visiting Auburn, NY so I called and made an appointment for a manicure and a pedicure. When I…read morearrived, they had me start on the pedicure first I explained that I wanted gel on my toes and dip polish on my fingernails. The girl who was helping me told me to pick out a color. I did pick out a color and reiterated I wanted the same color for my toes and my fingernails, which was gel on the toes and dip polish on the fingernails. She assured me that she had the color for gel and for dip polish. When completed she had a young man work on my manicure. He removed my previous Polish and went to put on gel polish. I explained to the young man that I wanted Dip polish on my fingernails. He stated they ran out of the dip polish. I informed him that I would not have picked this color if there was not a matching color. The young man stated I can do dip clear polish on the bottom, but then do the rest gel polish. I explained to the young man this is not what I requested. I told him that I will pick out another color for dip polish on my fingernails, That will also be in gel polish for my toenails and my toenails will be redone Due to the negligence of the previous technician, not communicating properly. Upon checking out, I was informed that there is a 5% charge if you pay by credit card, I inquired where the sign was posted and he stated it's here on the counter. You could barely see it because the tape was crumbling, and the wording was hidden underneath the rolled up tape. I paid for the pedicure, however when it came to Paying for my nails, he said it would be $45. I asked him is this just for a polish change and he said yes. I explained to him that I requested a manicure the manicure was given. He said you have to get gel polish in order to get a manicure. This is comical to me as I have never been to a Nail salon that states you must do gel polish in order to get a manicure! I will never go to the salon again, Nor would I ever recommend the salon to anyone!!! consumer beware Of the salon!!! To the owners I highly recommend communicating with your customers and listening to your customers. Make your sign bigger that says you're gonna have to pay 5% if paying by card.

My daughter initially came as a companion and for mother-daughter time, but has been delighted by Lindsay's talent for both styling hair and eyebrow waxing. She also discovered Angela, the nail technician and her meticulous mani/pedis. She is an expert gel nail provider. The customer service at Indigo is unparalleled. I would recommend Indigo, you'll feel like Queen for a Day! And if you have curly hair, you have to allow Stacy the opportunity to cut and style your hair the Ouidad way, it's amazing! One year later...still loving my hair as done by Stacy at Indigo! It's the healthiest in my whole life, thanks to the fabulous cut (4x/year) and the Ouidad products. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We never felt rushed once. I had trouble choosing a color and they patiently let me try multiple colors until I found the perfect one. They never made me feel like a bother, and they absolutely did not disappoint! If something needed fixing or touching up, they happily corrected it right away. The atmosphere was relaxing, clean, and comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was how clean and sanitized everything was. They constantly cleaned and sterilized as they worked, and unlike some salons, the nail polish smell wasn't overpowering at all. They were also AMAZING with kids. We've been to salons before where children didn't feel welcome, but this place treated my daughters so kindly. They even offered candy to the kids and made all of us feel comfortable and special. We were greeted with smiles and taken right in. My girls and I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and so happy. The staff was quick, professional, and genuinely caring.
