Beware that you only buy when you are absolutely sure you want it as they are very inflexible and the bill says 'no return 7 days exchange'.

Terrible quality furniture! Not only are there factory defects but the build quality and materials…read moreare flimsy and feel like cardboard: * The finish quality is terrible with chips and chunks missing which the seller said was "normal factory defects" * The actual drawer dimensions are much smaller than represented so even though the dresser is much larger than my 3-drawer from Ikea it holds the same amount of items despite being 5-drawers * No matter how much adjusting and levelling, the drawers always roll open 1-2 inches which is infuriating * The dresser rocks back and forth when I touch it and feels like it will fall apart * The seller tries to imply the problems are due to the assembler (me) but I have built many dozens of flat packed furniture items from Ikea, Homcom, JSYK, Prepac without issue and immediately noticed the poor design and material quality of this item when I unpacked it I tried to resolve the issue with the company when I bought the item many months ago and despite my dissatisfaction and going back and forth, they only offered a small discount of $30. Now many months later every time I walk past the dresser I am reminded that you get what you pay for and why not to buy from companies like Pro Lite. Do yourself a favor and unless you need furniture that is not intended for actual use without falling apart within a few months then save yourself from disappointment and look elsewhere. *Update - the seller responded by falsely posting that the item was "clearance inventory, which consists of previously repaired units or items with known factory defects" but at no time was this disclosed or was it made clear. FALSE ADVERTISING. The seller also said I had the "opportunity to view and inspect the assembled dresser in person" but this is also a lie. The item was shipped (at my expense) to me flat packed in the original factory packaging - it was never previously assembled. This company is ran by scammers. BE WARE!!!

Reopening as Renew Period Lighting & Decorative Arts (aka "Renew Gallery"), the refreshed business is very much in the same mould of its predecessor also from renowned antique expert Eric Cohen. Renew features an extensive and eclectic collection of period lighting and fine antique pieces from all over the world in a more viewing friendly setting and atmosphere. Gone is the retail feel with its relaunch as a formal gallery and wholesaler on a bigger digital scale. The gallery appeals to all sorts of designers, builders, and architects looking for the right pieces including set decorators for Hollywood productions filmed in town. In the back, Renew features a dedicated space for carefully restoring and maintaining many of its complex artifacts to their former glory. The gallery has brought a contemporary twist to its antique business as it adapts to technology and the digital marketplace. It's a beautiful space filled with storied antiques and all sorts of collectables in great shape. It's aiming to be a new and old treasure in the city.

My client and I purchased 1000 sq ft of Evoke laminate flooring at the Jordan's Flooring Outlet…read morelocated in Richmond, BC, under the personal verbal assurance from the sales supervisor Ron that any unopened flooring could be returned for full refund within 30 days of picking up the order. When we returned to make a return on the excess flooring material, Ron denied making such remarks and claimed that we lied in order to make a return. We found this accusation to be offensive and insulting. After a series of reasoning, he agreed to accept the return but asked for a 25% restocking fee which was never mentioned nor written. Even after the return had be made, he continued to question my client's honesty and claimed that she over ordered to receive "special pricing" on orders over 1000 sq ft. It is worth mentioning that prior to purchasing the flooring, we brought in the floor plan layout of the unit and were advised by Ron to order 1035 sq ft of material. So that claim by him was false and insulting. Upon leaving the store, Ron was still making remarks that we lied and even said, and quote "maybe I will reverse the refund". I believe that is illegal and my client will be checking her Visa statement to see if he indeed do so. This has been one of, if not the worst experience we've had at any stores and the supervisor's behaviour and mannerism is completely unacceptable. We will not return to this store in the future.
