I got the French tip gel manicure both times and this last time I got a facial because it was half price. The salon is clean, tools are sterilized after every customer, and they do not pressure you to upgrade. I really felt like they cared about what I wanted and genuinely only made suggestions based on things I told them rather than just getting my money. Stopped in here on a whim after being unhappy with the last shop I went to. I walked in the shop…read moreand was unfortunately hit square in the face with the overwhelming odor of cyanoacrylate, and although I know this can be an issue with acrylics, it seemed as if there was zero ventilation in the place. I was greeted immediately, told them I'd like a fill, and was asked to pick a color. They offered gel color (why they do this with acrylics, I'll never understand; acrylics hold polish just fine), but did not push. I was seated right away at someone's station and they began their work. A moment into the service he got a call, and of course I rolled my eyes and thought to myself "oh here we go", since it's commonplace for places like this to carry on a conversation while doing your service. However, he paused, finished his conversation quickly, and returned to me. I had some loose acrylic, and as he went to grab his nippers to pull it up, I asked him not to. After a couple of false starts he understood what I was asking and stopped. The service proceeded quickly and efficiently resulting in some of the thinnest and most shapely nails that I've ever had. He didn't carry on conversations with others in the salon, but he didn't bother to try to have a conversation with me either. They don't let you put tips on credit cards so I wasn't able to tip him but I will definitely be back to see Tommy in the future.

I have been going on and off for a while. The thing I love about it is that she makes you feel comfortable. Instead of "I'm going to get my nails done," it's like, "I'm going to hang out with Kat." She's just very welcoming, accommodating, flexible and she'll work with you. I was getting some photos done and she suggested lashes. I've done that before and it was good, but I just couldn't keep up with it. She said it'll be great and I'll work with you. It's probably the best thing I've done for myself in a long time. Every day I wake up, I don't have to look in the mirror and see how my wrinkles look, I just see my beautiful lashes. And you don't have to do much with them. Literally I've touched them a few times with the little brush that she gave me. But other than that you don't have to do any anything--lashes popping! One thing done! I don't even realize I have them on-no itching, got brown and they look natural. As a cancer warrior, I lost my lashes. Now I have beautiful, colorful excellent looking lashes. So if you're looking for a more chill experience--it's an easy casual relaxing appointment and hang out session with Kat. People--check it out.
