The worst experience ever with Hannah.
I've only had three appointments with her- I was a new client because I moved near the area. I've been getting eyelash extensions for the last 5 years so this isn't anything new for me. The first appointment, I get the full hybrid set and thought she was great. She said to me that since I'm a new client, it'll take a little time for her to understand how her lashes and glue work for me so let's make appointment for every 2-3 weeks. I made an appointment for a 2-week fill but there weren't any availability, so I had to schedule past the calendar 2 weeks by 2-3 days. She gets annoyed at me and said that I need to pay for 3 weeks even though I'm only couple days past. I tell her that her calendar is full and I had no control but, she berates me throughout half the session. I hold in my frustration and anger just get my lashes done.
I go to my second appointment and she ended up putting glue in my right eye and then tells me that it was my fault because I had my right eye open...even though I fell asleep during the session so my eye was closed. I woke up because my right eye was stinging so badly. I don't even show frustration or anger or pain, I just tell her that I think the glue went in my eye and she starts blaming me. Right after the appointment, I immediately made a 3-week appointment because she started telling me about her policy (again) and I was annoyed of being lectured at.
After about two weeks, my lashes started falling off SO fast on both eyes that eventually, only the sides had a couple lashes left. I've been getting lashes for years and I've never had lashes fall off so fast. I know how to clean my lashes and take good care of them, and previously, they would last 3 weeks before my next appointment. By the time I got to my 3-week appointment (11/21), most of my lashes were gone and my friends were pointing out that it looked terrible. When I got to my appointment, Hannah starts berating me nonstop. Telling me that I have to pay for full set. Demanding to know what I did to make the lashes fall off. I would understand if she wanted to have a discussion about why (as a new client) her lashes/glue wasn't working for me and how I could have also contributed, and we have a constructive discussion. Instead, she was snapping at me, talking over me, and demanding that I pay for a full set or else, she doesn't want me as a client. I tried to say that I'm a new client and I don't know why her lashes/glue isn't working but it's not my fault. I understand her policy about 40% of lashes falling off needing a full set but I JUST started seeing her and couldn't we talk about a different kind of glue (which is something that my previous lash person did and my lashes were fine). I also said fine, if you don't want me as a client, I can find someone else. No joke, I laid there steaming but not saying anything else while she bitched at me while working on my lashes. After she was done, we actually talked it out, both of us explained our thoughts...and I thought the conversation ended well. I was going to set another appointment within 2 weeks and we were going to keep an eye on how the glue was working before we decide that I will either need to continue to get a whole new set every 3 weeks or I need to come in for a refill every 2 weeks. We laughed, talked about our holidays, and I went home feeling positive.
That evening, she texts me her policy with circles, underlines, to pound her policy down my throat. I text her back saying "I thought we talked this out and we were good. I KNOW your policy and I accept your policy. I never fought your policy, but I wanted you to help me understand why the lashes weren't working, instead of just focusing on how you could get more money from me." It came clear to me that she just wanted me to pay full set every time I saw her instead of actually caring about my lashes. I end our string of texts that evening because it's late and I have a life.
Two days later, she texts me saying that, after speaking with her partner, she doesn't want me as a client and cancels my next appointment (which is just before a holiday event). I text her fine, I'll find someone else. I tell her to stop texting me, especially since she keeps texting me late in the evening...but she KEEPS texting!
Hannah is HORRIBLE and unstable. One minute, she's fine, the next minute, she's yelling at me. She keeps texting me even though I told her to stop. Don't go to her. read more
