Carol is AMAZING! I've had lashes for a long time and stopped doing them for a year, I went somewhere else first and got them totally butchered! I looked like a hot mess coming in with lashes falling off me by the minute!! In the short amount of time she had with me, she managed to make my lashes look so full and beautiful! The glue she uses is also very gentle and didn't irritate the eyes at all (my eyes are sensitive). She's amazing at what she does, super gentle I could fall asleep ......and fast! Amazing!!! I love Carol. I love making appointments by text. I found out about Carol through my sister who sees her regularly. She does amazing work that looks really full and natural. The lashes are tapered and come to a fine point at the end vs some other lash extensions I've seen by other places where they almost look unnatural and like a cylinder tube. She customizes the length based on your request. I initially asked to go shorter because I wear glasses and I didn't want my lashes to hit them. COVID has been hard financially. She wears masks and has hand sanitizer, but I really appreciate the flexibility on how often I come back. I know ideally every 2-3 weeks is preferred, but she's okay with me trying to stretch to save. (But if I've lost too many lashes, I will pay a little more than a normal fill.). It's been so great getting to know Carol. Great work and really personable. I've followed her from location to location... Because she's worth it! read more

Really disappointed in this place, it is not professional. I made my appointment with Carol for 9:00 a.m., a time which I later learned means the door will be locked when you arrive. As a first time client I had expected to receive a confirmation call and any pertinent instructions, like, don't be alarmed if the door is locked when you arrive. So when I arrived for my appointment the door was locked, no lights on and I began to worry... do I even have an appointment? Does she know I'm out here on the porch? I called, no answer and texted as well. A few minutes later Carol opened the door, no hello, no welcome, just come up, I'm with a client, here's your paperwork, have a seat and wait...and wait... Based on our very first interaction I got a bad feeling, and while sitting and waiting for her to finish with the client she was with I fought the urge to leave. It was that weird. Nonetheless I stayed and 15 minutes past my appt time she took me back. The lash appt was fine and I rebooked for two weeks wanting to give her a second chance. Fast forward to my appointment today. Again with the gruff greeting, and the waiting for her to finish. At the start of the appt she asked me if I was happy with the lash length and I said I would like them longer. That was IT in terms of communication. At the end when I expected to pay $55 for my 2 week fill she surprised me and said it was $70 bc she did a volume fill. What?! This was never mentioned ahead of time! Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Won't be back. Cannot recommend. read more

I was definitely hesitant to get eyelash extensions due to the long term commitment and cost. But after years of blah lashes that no amount of Dior Show could really improve, I took the plunge. I checked Yelp and Lashes by Louie was right in my hood. After reading the reviews & checking her website and noticing her prices are reasonable (pay cash for a little discount), I made my first appointment. And boy am I glad I did!! I love my new lashes. It did take me awhile to get used to them...my eyes are a bit sensitive and I had to "practice" not rubbing my eyes. It does take some getting used to having fabulous long lashes that hit my sunglasses!! My lashes look so much more defined and it adds a little extra pop. I wanted something natural vs dramatic and Carol provided exactly what I wanted. I've never been that into mascara or eye makeup so this provided the perfect solution to making my eyes look polished without any make-up. Add to the fact that Carol is super personable, her place is tidy and stylish and you have the winning combination!! read more

Went here about a month ago for the first time to get a Volume Fill and I was quoted $70. Street parking is the only option, so be prepared to struggle to find a space nearby to park! She started my appointment 25 minutes late, which I found pretty ridiculous. The lashes she applied seemed to be high quality and did last for a while before falling out, and her application was quick. After the appointment I was surprised to be charged $120 something when I had been quoted less... especially after waiting almost 30 minutes for my appointment? Not sure why she changed the price on me... maybe she applied more lashes than she thought she was going to? Regardless, the lack of communication about the matter was weird and I wasn't very happy. I absolutely would recommend both Carol and Stacy. I've started with Carol and would get an hour fill every time, also an hour with Stacy if Carol isn't available and both are exceptional. They both are very knowledgable about their work and highly skilled that I've always been happy with the outcome. My lashes I get are the perfect length to compliment the shape of my eyes which Carol did recommend and knew that I could pull it off. I feel like a baby doll every time after my appointments. I have not had any allergic reaction or poor placement of any my lashes, and I know some people out there have had bad experiences. I have had my lashes done by Carol 8 times now but unfortunately I will not be going back. She is often running very late. I understand that clients can put you behind if they themselves are late to the appointment. However twice she was 15 minutes late and I was her first appointment of the day. It was freezing outside and pouring rain and the door to her salon was locked. It wasn't until several minutes after I texted her that I was finally let in. She does an okay job but on the days she seems behind she rushes and I think my lashes suffer for it. Those are usually the times where I have several natural lashed glued to one fake lash. The last straw was my "appointment" with her this week. We had been texting about scheduling an appointment when she texted me saying, "Cancel today @ 5 pm?". I read this as she had a cancelation and she could now see me today. I responded, "Yes I can make that work! See you at 5:00! :)" to which she replied with a "". Because I was not expecting to go in I had to rush to get there and literally ran down the street to the salon so I wouldn't be late. I got a sitter for my cousin and everything. When I got there she looked at me like I was crazy and asked what I was there for. She then said that the back and forth between our texts is probably what caused the confusion. She then said that she had no available appointments until the next week. I got no apology from her. No sorry. Nothing. And for some reason I found MYSELF saying sorry after she looked at me like I was nuts! That's the last straw for me. Her prices are pretty good but I'll go somewhere else from now on. I've included a photo of the texts and it's pretty cut and dry to me but I'll let you be the judge. read more

I really like this place. Last year i got my lashes done by myano salon seattle by Rose. I was going there for a long time. Anyways she glued the lashes to my eye lid and I got a huge infection. So I went to Lashes by louie and the owner saved my eyes. So after a year of healing from the damage the last place did I chose to go back to Lashes by louie and she did a great job. Carol did a great job on my lashes and I am very happy with how they look. I went to another place in Kirkland that did not know how to work with Asian eyes and they ended up glueing multiple natural lashes to the one lash and the tape they used was extremely painful. I had the complete opposite experience with Carol. She first had to fix what the other place did and she took her time and was very meticulous about placing each lash on perfectly. The tape she used was very comfortable and did not hurt. My lashes looked 100 times better than my first experience. I would recommend using Carol especially if you are wanting to try eyelash extensions for the first time. It makes a HUGE difference when you get someone who knows what they are doing. She is very careful and does an amazing job. You walk out with beautiful lashes that you can easily comb through and look amazing. Carol was an ABSOLUTE LIFESAVER. I seriously can't sing her praises enough. I had my first set of lashes applied a few weeks ago at another establishment and they looked fine to my untrained eye but when I called them 2.5 weeks after my first appointment to schedule my first fill, they couldn't get me in for another 4 weeks. Fast forward 2 days and I woke up with a mess. A clump of my eyelash extensions had fallen out of the middle section of my eye and broke my natural lashes at the same time. Not only was I was mortified, but I looked ridiculous. It was a Sunday (perfect day for something like this to happen - no one is open) and I came across Lashes by Louie, LLC. I fired off an email, fully expecting to not get a reply until the next business day but to my surprise, Carol responded within an hour. She was understanding and sympathetic, even offering to see me that afternoon ON HER DAY OFF. I still can't believe it. When I arrived, Carol took the time to examine my lashes and explained to me how the health of my lashes had been compromised by the poor job that was done at the original salon (they used cheap glue and way too much of it which was straining my lashes). It would have been easy for her to sell this extension newbie on a fill but instead, she strongly suggested that I go with a complete removal and give my natural lashes time to grow back and strengthen before I try another set. I am so thankful for Carol's expertise, honesty and professionalism and I have already recommended her to my girlfriends. If/when the time comes for me to try this again, I will only visit Lashes by Louie. read more
