Fortunately, we had the good sense to let them know we would be getting a second opinion/estimate due to the huge quote they provided. Ultimately, the company we contacted came out, located the blockage and charged us $375. This Roto-Rooter is either entirely incompetent or a scam. There was both a technician and a supervisor (was called to assist the tech) involved. Pat, from the company, responded to my review on another site. I emailed her directly and crickets. The person I left the voicemail for a week ago (corporate office phone), also crickets. Next review I will post on BBB.

I do real estate full-time and I first used them to assess the sewer lines in an apartment building my brother and I were personally in the process of buying and he found a sink hole underneath due to the corroded sewer lines (saving us thousands of dollars.) Ever since I have recommended them to all my buyer and seller clients in need of a plumbing inspection, repair or scope! Which is honestly saying a lot, because after 11 years in real estate, I have very very few contractors I recommend. Because a lot are unreliable, but NOT them! They respond quickly, they show up, they are available in emergencies, they do great work, they are super knowledgeable, they are honest and they NEVER pressure my clients into repairs they don't need. Raymond did a faulty job installing my water heater. We had a solder joint pop several gallons of…read morewater a minute was pouring all over our basement. Fortunately it was making so much noise and I happened to be home that not too much damage was cause. However I was concerned about a fire hazard as the gas burner was still going as the water left in the tank and it was starting to boil off and was sending steam all over the place. I called Raymond for immediate help as I needed to figure how to shut everything off When I called, rather than helping I was told someone would come in 4 or 5 hours. Even when I explained I needed immediate help to shut everything down and turn off the valves Raymond could not help and told me to call someone else. Fortunately I was able to find another Plummer who walked me through shutdown and I was able to save my basement from flooding. Later I called back to see if Raymond would come out and look at their faulty work and repair. Raymond said they would not come out. We had someone else fix up their mistakes. In the end we came out okay but it could have be a disaster and it is clear thar Raymond has no interest in standing behind their work.
