I'm 15 weeks pregnant, and I had chosen this spa specifically because I wanted to feel safe and confident in the provider's experience. I reached out afterward and was offered a "touch-up," but with the irritation I experienced, it didn't feel safe to continue. There has been a few time when due to my schedule I had another massage therapist besides RC at Metro and they have all been amazing as well. He works hard to hire qualified individuals! Specifically about RC and how he gives a massage. He listens, before each massage he asks how are you feeling and will adjust the massage based on what is bothering you. You DO NOT get a cookie cutter massage. Also I have to rave about that fact that I have been getting a deep tissue massage and it is done in such a way I am still relaxed and can get my "massage drunk". His skill, knowldge of the muscles and flow of the massage are superior. Another huge bonus to going to Metro is when you get an hour massage, you get the full hour. All other places I have been to give a 5 minute undress and 5 minute dress time. Which means your massage is 50 minutes max. And those places generally would always short you even more time. Most of the times I had massage at Massage Lux and it was about 40 mins from hands on to hands off so they could turn the room over quicker. You will not get shorted at Metro. I will add that because you get your full time sometimes they run a little behind. So do not be in a hurry or have any plans after your massage. As for pricing. Their prices are comparable if not lower than any other place I have gone too. And the service is top quality. Highly recommend Metro the Spa and RC!!

Until now, the massage quality and overall experience had been good, and we consistently tipped well, typically $100 per massage therapist. We had a last-minute situation come up and missed our scheduled couples massage. Afterward, Aquarius charged us a total of $720, split into two separate transactions: $300 and $420. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies. However, charging loyal monthly clients $720 after one missed appointment feels excessive, aggressive, and completely out of proportion to the situation. For us, this destroyed the goodwill they had built over months of repeat business. We will not be returning. I am filing complaints with the appropriate agencies in Missouri and I would strongly caution others to be very careful before doing business with Aquarius Health & Wellness. I also have serious concerns about their card-on-file and customer data practices. Since they were able to charge our card after the missed appointment, customers should ask how their payment information is being stored, who has access to it, and whether Aquarius Health & Wellness is properly following applicable data security and payment card compliance standards.
