And we were blown away by the top notch service Andy and his team provided to us. Andy took the time helping us select the tiles, backlashes, kitchen counter tops, sinks, hardwood floor, array of products. My Contractor took the measurements but was short on kitchen tiles. I called Andy and his delivery guy delivered a box of tile to us in NJ the following morning. I ordered the bathroom vanity top from Lowes and the size of it was 1.5 inch shorter than the bottom cabinet. Andy found a perfectly matching backlash so the contractor was able to install it. We were thrilled how beautiful it turnout. We compared at least 5 stores in the same area, the quality of the products and price, this store beats its com Overall, the experience we had with Andy and his team were amazing!!! Strongly recommend this store!!! Feeding off my previous review, a minor issue with the door hinge, brought it to Andy's attention and he ordered the parts and shipped it to me in 3 days.

First impressions are lasting ones, and Joe of Marino tile left us with an amazing experience from…read morethe minute we walked into his store. When my wife Gia and I walked into the Marino shop, we were at a loss for the type of countertops we wanted. Our home kitchen space is small and difficult to work with due to its age... lots of uneven plaster walls and brick. Gia had always wanted a single source, counter to ceiling style backsplash. Not only would it be a focal point of the space, but it would help in making it look larger overall. After looking through Marino's wide selection of products, Gia and I never once felt pressured or rushed. In fact, the owner Joe took his time with us and answered all of our questions regarding durability, installation process, availability timeline, product warranty... pretty much the pros and cons of all the products he sells and installs there. After a few trips to his showroom, and his professional opinion, Gia and I chose Cambria Delamere Quartz. Joe spent a few hours in our home to measure out each section precisely, so when it came to installation time, he'd be prepared. And prepared was EXACTLY how he returned. Joe and Manny, painstakingly went over every corner, angle, and mitered edge, to make our Delamere quartz look as if it was cut out of a single piece!! And in a home built in 1899, that's no easy feat. He even helped properly measure, center, and bore out the anchors we needed for our new range hood! And he did it all with a smile on his face :) Joe is friendly, knowledgeable, and provides very fair pricing, especially considering that he's a true craftsman. In a world where everything is becoming more and more impersonal and prefabricated, this family owned and operated business was hands down, THE BEST decision we made for our 2nd floor renovation. Don't even take our word for it... just visit Marino tile and see for yourself.

Apparently, this place is awesome because it's in a College Point warehouse - so their real estate costs are lower - where they also manufacture their own name-brand tiles so if you're looking for quality tiles at a low price they can cut out the middle-man. They have a wide selection so we bought some imported expensive tiles and some of their lower cost home-grown tiles made from their warehouse. We also bought some mosaic tiles. We shopped around at the big box stores and a few other places in Flushing and ended up buying about 1000 sq feet of tile here. Allen was incredibly pleasant, funny, and charming throughout the whole process. The other staff members were also very pleasant and knowledgeable. Allen had great recommendations and had a no-pressure sales process the three to four times we were there. Our deliveries came as scheduled and the tile was as promised. I recommend going on a weekend - especially a Sunday - because nearby on-street parking is easy. We once went on a weekday and there were a few vehicles on the streets from other shops parked and being loaded and unloaded.

When we removed the paper the day before our move-in date, I noticed a strange spot on the front edge. Upon closer inspection, it became clear that it was a large chip in the granite edge that had been poorly repaired. Considering the tile work has already been completed, I am now exploring legal options to hold Unity Tiles accountable for selling and installing a damaged -- and then patched -- granite countertop.
