I had an excellent experience with Lux mobile IV. My husband was in the hospital and I hadn't been able to eat or drink for five days. I got the super IV which replaced all my nutrients and vitamins. The next day I was able to eat not one but two bowls of soup and keep it down. My Ivy therapist was an amazing person and we had a very good conversation. First time doing a mobile IV service and I was very impressed - my nurse Tommy was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. I felt a lot better after the session. One thing I think would be appreciated in the future is a more in depth screening of what the patient has been taking / what will be administered. My experience with Luxe Mobil IV was absolutely fantastic. after being up all night with my sick daughter, I jumped online at 3 AM to find somewhere to take her in the morning for an infusion so I could avoid my high ER deductible. To my surprise, I was able to book an appoint online for the first opening in a few short hours. They called at 6:30 AM to get a credit card on file and confirm our appointment. At 7:12 I got a text saying our nurse would arrive by 7:46. Ashli was literally the kindest, and calmest person we've ever met. She came into the bedroom where my daughter was most comfortable and explained everything and spoke to us as if we'd known each other for years. She worked quickly and made herself comfortable so I could focus on my daughter and not on her. She talked over the different options and what we thought best to treat her symptoms. She went over next steps and small talk while we gave the IV time to drip. Once it was done, Ashli made sure she was feeling at a level she was comfortable with and texted my invoice while she quietly packed up to leave. It was hot and beautiful, , but I knew i was feeling somewhat dehydrated and on only 3 alcoholic drinks at the most. My husband and I are long time subscribers of IV treatments; we've had pretty hectic moments in life, and have been able to rely on the nourishment of IV treatments to keep us going in those moments. The reality of it is, there are many mobile providers in Houston, but thankfully, I won't continue to look any further. When looking for any new service provider, I value CUSTOMER SERVICE! That said - I did have a few questions before I booked. I was able to communicate with someone via text, who responded to me within 30mins, and provided me with the information I needed so I could move onto securing my booking online (which I too love this feature. In this way, I can book at MY earliest convenience). Then on the day of a met Nurse Candace, who was not only friendly and knowledgeable, she was (wait for it)...ON TIME! That may not seem like a super important attribute, however, based on my experience with 90% of ALL other vendors (contractors, housekeepers, designers, mobile lash techs etc), apparently punctuality isn't a big thing here on Houston! As a business owner myself, my life runs on schedule, and I NEED to know that people will respect my time as I do theirs so I was so happy to see this company honors their appointment times. Terrible service. Signed up to do their weightloss treatment. First time they came to my house they drew up the wrong dosage, and then had to come back later in the day to give me the correct dosage. Medication is supposed to be kept refrigerated, they brought it to me in a sealed box at room temperature. Second time they came to my house they brought the wrong medication, told me they would be back in 30 min or so with the new medication, instead, I received a call saying to come pick it up or there would be a $40 delivery fee. Why would there be a delivery fee is you are a mobile service and YOU brought ME the wrong medication? Still no one has called me to let me know if I am going to be getting this medication or not. I ended up getting food poisoning from a dinner the night before, and had a flight with two toddlers the following day. Stayed up most of the night consistently throwing up. Husband always has a full schedule so couldn't find anyone last minute to watch the kids so I could go to urgent care. Looked up online of home remedies that I could do and came across Luxe Mobil IV. I remember using this service once before and loved it! Realizing that urgent care would also just give me an IV and help me stay hydrated I decided to reach out to Luxe. They were very nice and understanding on the phone and were able to accommodate same day appointments. With in a couple of hours I had a nurse at my door. She was very nice and fast. Asked me what my symptoms were and was able to give me anti-nausea meds with my IV drip. Took about 30 minutes. That was it. I cannot explain how convenient this was for me! I was so happy that I came across Luxe Mobil IV. As a full time mom of two toddlers I have zero time for myself. I had no energy to get up and do anything for the kiddos or myself, let alone be able to drive to urgent care. I was scared to eat anything in fear of throwing up, but after receiving the IV, I felt amazing! I was able to get up and walk around make myself something light to eat and also for the kids, and prepare for our flight. Honestly I don't know what I would've done, would sure have had to cancel our flight.
