BARBER Honestly, it does take awhile to find your "go-to" barber, had to trial and error a few places once I moved to Concord (used to reside around Union City to San Jose Area and Vallejo). Jaydakris has a fine eye to detail, and always makes sure that you leave looking nice and fresh! Additionally, he would also give his opinions and suggestions for your cuts just in case you want to change it up, if you decide to go with it, he will not disappoint! CUSTOMER SERVICE There are some barbershops I have been to where you sit down, and no one else greets or asks if you have an appointment. When I come here, I did get acknowledged that I was here for a hair cut, so I do give points for that! BARBERSHOP Location is in the corner of a plaza within Concord, can't miss it, lots of parking. The store it self is well kept, has hanging art work and posters. The color scheme is Red and Black. If you're looking for a cut, try Breds barbershop out, Jaydakris is amazing! If you can't get in with him, I am sure all his other barbers are great. 5 stars overall!

Family & Tradition…read more Those are the two words that make me think of VIP Barbershop. I really have been meaning to give this place another shoutout because I've been going here for so long. Anytime someone asks me where I get my haircut, it's always the same answer: VIP Barbershop. Ruben has built such warm and safe environment in this establishment. It doesn't matter which barber you get(I know this because I've had cuts from at least 4 different people here), know that whichever seat you sit in, you'll be in good hands. Personally I go to his son nowadays simply because we have similar interests/hobbies but if an emergency popped up and he wasn't around, I'd feel comfortable with anyone working here. That's the kind of all-star cast that Ruben has assembled. And there always is this familial vibe once you enter. Yes, they are professional but there is always such warmth when each barber greets and interacts with you. I think it's cool that you have a tradition that's been passed down from generation. Ruben has followed in his father's footsteps but then his son Bubba has also done the same. The reason I got into baseball was mainly because of my dad's love it for it. So when it comes to traditions I have a lot of respect for people who keep it up. But anyways I didn't want to get too long winded like a normally do. I just wanted to give a big shoutout to Ruben. Im so picky about where I go when it comes to like my Doctor, Dentist, Chiropractor, etc so the fact that I've been going here for so long must mean how special this place is to me. If I don't ever end up moving from the bay area I could honestly just see myself getting my haircut here till the end of my days. Thank you Ruben for creating such a comfortable place to get my haircut for all these years. Also for extra credit, if you are a blues lover check out his Junior DeVille Blue Band. I've seen him twice in Benicia and each time has been a fun time.

Based on prior reviews I chose Los Barberos. They were able to get me in right away. 1st impression is clean, friendly and a great atmosphere. He did the exact cut we asked for and we have gotten so many compliments on how well he did. I highly recommend this shop and Jorge O.

Shortly after, he called back to let us know they were able to squeeze us in for an appointment (which we are grateful for!) Alex was so kind and patient with my 5 year old. Throughout the process, she took her time and gave him tiny breaks when needed while also making sure I liked how it was turning out. She was able to keep the hair that he had left, so he's not bald. The end result exceeded my expectations & my son is happy with his new haircut. Jacob is an absolute professional and a master of his craft. What truly sets Jacob apart, however, is his character. After we called multiple places looking for someone willing to make an emergency last-minute house call for a grieving family before a funeral the next day, Jacob stepped up without hesitation. Despite having already worked a full day, he came out after closing hours to help this family during a difficult time. We are incredibly grateful for Jacob and cannot recommend Goodfellas Barbershop highly enough. Exceptional service, exceptional talent, and an even more exceptional human being. Thank you, Jacob!
