They took me as a walk in without hesitation and within seconds, I was in the seat ready for kind gentleman named Patrick to do his craft. I'm not sure how long he's been at this place (I assume a while due to his relationship with other barbers), but that doesn't matter too much because he asks all the right questions to ensure you get the cut you need and deserve and this shop happens to be the place where he works his magic. He was absolutely meticulous with every movement of the clippers, and finished the cut with some alcohol (my favorite part) and some beard oil. I like going to a shop and getting a good cut, I LOVE going to a shop, getting a good cut and having a great conversation with the person doing the job. It's very important that the process is an experience just as much as it's a job and Patrick delivered on both ends. I appreciate him, his time, and the whole atmosphere of this place. When I came back, the driver-side keyhole had been damaged to the point where I couldn't even use it. While I was inside the neighboring barber shop, there was an older man who kept staring at me in a way that made me uncomfortable. After I discovered the damage and went back inside to ask about security footage, that same man suddenly ran out of the shop as I was explaining what happened. (MEXICAN) I was able to get a video and photo of him and his white truck (including the license plate), and I filed a police report. What also felt off was that when I asked to see footage from when I first arrived, I was only shown footage of him leaving--not the time frame I specifically asked for. They're in cahoots. I'm not making accusations, but the situation felt very suspicious. Just be cautious if you're in this area and keep an eye on your vehicle.

We brought a paper with several photos of how my son wanted his hair for Max to use as a guide. I made sure to use photos of people with his same hair length and texture as my sons so the results would be attainable. The haircut came out much shorter than the pictures we brought. It Looked much different. I personally loved how it came out better than how my son wanted it. I was nervous as we left thinking my son hated it. My son was a bit disappointed because he wanted the hair longer in the back. It took him a few days but he ended up being very happy with his haircut and said it was the best style he's ever had! It was much less maintenance than how it would have been if it were like the style in our photo we brought. My sons self esteem improved each day he had time to adjust to the haircut. A week after his haircut....i saw him checking himself out in mirrors every time he passed one. he was very happy with Max's work. It was a pricey cut but the shop was very nice and clean and Max was very professional and welcoming. Worth every penny. Although it wasn't what we asked for it was definitely better when it came to ease of styling and matched my sons head shape and hair pattern. Max knew better than we did! i tipped him 50% of the cost of the cut and would highly recommend him to all.
