Here's the real break down lol! Ok so I've been going to Karen since College, YEARS ago! I dont live in New Orleans anymore, 5 years now and I came back and needed some touch ups and just renewal after a long vacay for almost a month in Nola! AMAZING! So much growth since the booth in Clearview Mall. I am very particular about my appearance bc I'm an entertainer and I am very loyal to my brow lady who btw only does wax! Karen did an AMAZING job threading! I won't dare let anyone thread my brows but she is very gentle! Great at shaping the natural shape without giving you another shape that doesn't match your face!

I expressed to Karen on my phone call to her how my last threading experience was painful and I swore never to try it again. After speaking to Karen on the phone I decided to give it another try. I was relieved and pleasantly surprised by my threading experience with Karen. I didn't have any redness and it wasn't painful at all. This lady knows her stuff. Oh and her tinting service to my brows was a game changer and I can't wait to return for her various services that include facials and peels and dermaplaning. Don't pass up this gem of a spot. I will be a regular.

I typically fill in my brows daily but decided to get them microbladed. Right as my appointment that I wanted like a month for was coming, I came down with covid and Katie was SO flexible and kind on rescheduling. She is clearly a boss so she books up pretty quickly so I had to wait another month for her services. She color matched my brows PERFECTLY and got the shape spot on. Like I said, I already had decent shape but she made them look so defined. I'm not going to lie the healing was quite annoying. You can't get them wet, sweat etc and with the Louisiana heat, it was very hard not to sweat. If I decide to do microblading again I am definitely going to get it done in the winter so I don't need to stress every time I go outside. The scary part about microblading is after the scabs fall off they lighten a lot & then darken back up. Katie eased my anxiety and they looked nice after the first session. I went back for my perfecting session 6 weeks later & they are just about healed now. The healing process was also a lot easier the second time around. I am happy with my results and would recommend Katie to anyone, especially redheads!

I liked her work, so I reached out on the website for an appointment. Response time was quick and Katie was really flexible in accommodating me (I contacted her for a next day appointment during probably the busiest time of year in New Orleans - Mardi Gras). She squeezed me in for the next day and gave me detailed address info so that I wouldn't have any problems finding the place. She even texted me the day of the appointment when an earlier appointment slot became available, which I happily took. When I got there, she got started with me right away (despite me interrupting her break because I was a little early, sorry Katie!). She was very gentle and I didn't experience any discomfort. When I finally was done and looked at my eyes, they weren't red or irritated, something I'd noticed in pics in reviews for other places. And, my lashes were BEAUTIFUL! I got a new full classic set. The whole process took about 2 hours and the lashes lasted for weeks. Katie did an amazing job, plus she's super sweet with awesome customer service. 100% recommend.

I was able to slap on a full face in about 30 min flat bc I wasn't spending an hour alone drawing and erasing my brows The healing process: Again, I've never had a tattoo, so I was the person texting questions early morning or early evening and she ALWAYS responded with the reassurance I needed! The brow healing guide that Shannon sends home with clients is also the perfect touch to know your brows are right on track in their healing! Overall, the healing process was painless and the only mild discomfort is the itchiness a day or two since you can't scratch them. As I mentioned before, as your service is completed, you'll be given a cute goodie bag filled with your brow healing guide, ointment for your brows, and tools to keep your brows looking their best! Finally, if you're worried or apprehensive due to COVID concerns, don't be. Shannon's professionalism and cleanliness spoke volumes with all equipment and furniture sanitized between clients (one at a time), only clients being serviced allowed and ALL tools ensured to be sterile because they were opened from sealed packaging with gloves. If you're looking for your next brow revival, don't hesitate to stop at Blush Browz and ask for the owner Shannon! Can't wait to return for my touch up and maybe try some lashes!

I won't belabor the benefits of this service - dark haired ladies, this facial was intended for us - but what I will say is that Erica is phenomenal! She was so thorough and I died and went to relaxation heaven during the head massage! Most importantly (and what prompted my review) is the level of integrity these gals operate on. As part of the service, you get a mask that they mix up themselves -- pretty cool and I imagine they can put in ingredients to help with your specific concerns. Well anyways, I guess the concoction was not the exact consistency so one of Erica's coworkers re-mixed the mask for her! Y'all, I would've never known that the consistency wasn't right! I was way too relaxed and de-stressed to know the difference but it just warmed my heart that this excellent group of estheticians strive to deliver high quality services! So glad I added another service to my usual brow maintenance. Go give them a try if you haven't already!

I can't speak for every employee but Erica really left her mark (with tint) on my face... I used to tint my own brows and it never turned out this horrible. The wax job itself was fine - she mapped out my face and left what she think I needed to grow out but it still looked messy once I scrubbed the tint off, which hurt considering it wasn't easy to remove. Let's just say I left not being able to look anyone in the eyes. How embarrassing! On a plus side, the inside of this business is very well taken care of and decorated nicely. As for leaving happy with the service, this was a bad experience for me and the $69 I lost.
