This establishment was not so much a barbershop or salon as it was a clubhouse for the women who work there to gossip and chat. My haircut was clearly an unwelcome distraction, as my poorly and asymmetrically cut hair demonstrates. I left with sideburns uneven, random clumps of uncut hair, and the decidedly unpleasant memory of the loud cackling and chatter, interrupted only grudgingly by listless swipes of an electric trimmer. This is probably a great place to hear about some local women's ill-conceived fashion experiments and high school memories. For a haircut, not so much.
