Westminster Toyota

Misleading, unprofessional, and damaging - do NOT go here…read more I visited Westminster Toyota on Jan 15 for a Toyota Corolla Hybrid SE AWD. From the start, I was misled and stalled: Staff confirmed availability but never followed up. After a test drive and submitting all documents, my employment verification "failed", despite my HR confirming everything was correct. Repeated follow-ups led to conflicting updates, unavailable staff, and unnecessary pressure to buy a different car I didn't want. Finance managers were sarcastic and unprofessional, pushing me toward alternatives instead of respecting my choice. After 9 days of back-and-forth, I was finally told my loan was rejected by all banks, and their mishandling negatively affected my credit score. The dealership misled me on pricing and availability of the car, posting it online at a higher price immediately after I inquired. This was supposed to be my first car purchase, but their actions caused stress, confusion, and financial damage. I will be filing a consumer complaint. I cannot recommend Westminster Toyota - there is no transparency, honesty, or professionalism.

Numerous times I was told there's no problems with the engines and mine just faulted at 20,000km. Stranded on the middle of the highway!!!! We were almost killed! I thought Toyota was supposed to be reliable? Not only does this affect my truck but now it affects the re sale value. Everyone that I've talked to from your service department to Toyota Canada has been an absolute joke saying "sorry nothing we can do" And the salesman bob I bought it off has totally ghosted me with no replies but it says message read. That's real customer service. I am writing on every forum possible about your guys customer service and reading your google reviews I understand why people are so upset. I will be coming to the dealership thank you.

At these type auctions you can not really look the cars over real well and you don't hear them run or drive. So you have no way to know all the things that are wrong with a car that you would expect to be in good drivable condition. The body worked looked good when it went across the auction block and I paid $44,000 for it plus the 10% buyers commission. I paid a professional trucking company to transport it to Spokane, Wa. When it got here just the ride caused the body work to start cracking. It cracked under the doors on both sides, at the front of the left side wheel well opening a chunk of Bondo actually fell out leaving a hole. The left outer fender well opening was no even welded to in the inner fender well. I am now in the process of repairing the very poor body work. So far I have found scab welding trying to repair rusted sheet metal. Bondo 1/2" deep over welds that a 2 year old good do better. Hopefully I can make it a car that I am proud to take to car shows. Now on to the rest. The wipers do not work. the speedo sounds like a siren when driving, non working gas gauge, non working radio, no horn and I could go on and on. I know this review is a little late coming. After I got the car I was so sick seeing what I had paid a good price for that I let it sit for a year before I could even look at as there were so many things wrong with it. At this point and am grinding out Bondo, welding in new metal and trying to make something of a very poor investment that I bought from what I thought was a reputable company. If you ever buy a car from this company make sure you take your magnet with you.

I would advise EVERYONE TO AVOID dealing with this company. They are a bunch of scammers! First…read moreof all they told us that we could NOT test drive the car that we were going to buying they insisted that we sign the papers for the car before we even got to see it. Everyone should be able to test drive a car before they buy it, whether it is sold from a car dealership or a private seller! We were also told that their mechanics checked out the car (a Chevy Uplander) before we took possession of the car and they said that it passed with flying colors, thst was 100% BS!! When we took the car in to get it checked out by our mechanic about 1 week later, he found quite a few things wrong with it. We only have 10% of brakes left on our rear brakes when their mechanic said that there was more like 60% left on them, the rotors are almost completely rusted out and the ball joints on the right side of the car turned up as a FAIL, the swaybar links are worn out in the front, wheel bearings have play in both front wheel bearings, the front bumper is loose. On the interior rear door seal is off- seal falling off the left sliding door. The rear brakes as I have mention earlier in this post are at 10%, rear rotors rusted badly as I have mentioned before, and the transmission lines are beginning to leak. To get all these things fixed will cost a lot $ don't know about anyone else, but these things should have been checked and corrected BEFORE we took possession of the car. I am beginning to hate this car because I shouldn't have to pay out that mucho ey seeing that we have only owned the car for approximately only 1week. As I stated before, all the guys that work for this company are slimeballs. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE...IF YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR YOU!!!

Its been a year since I purchased my Mercedes 500CL from Ed a Carco / Robco…read more I was a little hesitant since the the purchase price was was very good and the mileage was also quite a bit lower than average for the year. The car was beautifully detailed with a clean CARFAX. Ed was a straight shooter, no BS. He was quite accomodating, and did a small repair I requested,. He even discounted the cost of an extended warranty, which he didn't push, but recommended due to the complexity of the vehicle. The warranty has paid for itself. One year later, the car was everyhing Ed said it was. I am more than pleased with the car and I suspect I could still sell it for at least what I paid for it. When it does come time for a newer car, I will definitely check in with Carco.

WARNING - DEALERSHIP DOES NOT OPERATE WITH INTEGRITY Over…read morethe last several days, I have been in contact via phone, email, and text with two sales representatives at Kabani Motors in Vancouver. They have a 2015 Honda Pilot with 9,825KMS and an asking price of $39,995. In my initial conversation with Eduardo Guillo where I made an offer that was not accepted; however, Eduardo informed me via email that the lowest price that the owners of Kabani would accept is $39,470. Over the last four days, we continued to discuss the Pilot and decided yesterday, Sunday, April 10th, 2022, that would engage with the dealership again to make an offer. This time around we dealt with Summit K. Biswas. Over a period of 3 hours, we communicated via text and phone. During this period, we discussed the value of their $299 administration fee and further negotiated on price. With each offer, Summit returned to the owners of the dealership to present my offer and continuously kept coming back in writing that they would not accept anything less than $39,000. We came to the decision that we would pay the price and provided Summit with my credit card over the phone, and it was charged with a $1000 non-refundable deposit I planned to fly to Vancouver to pick up the SUV. Approximately, a half-hour later I received a text message from Summit, stating that the boss there is no discount on that vehicle, yet last week they were prepared to take $500 off. Over the course of the negotiation process, Summit contacted the owners of the dealership more than three (3) times to discuss the price and then revoked our agreement and wanted me to pay full price. The reason given, is the owners didn't have good cell service and didn't hear the offer correctly, yet they were very familiar with the conversation I had the previous week with Eduardo and the offer. Whatever you decide to do with this dealership and its owners be VERY CAREFUL. They are not ethical and do NOT operate with integrity. I had to request multiple times to have them credit my VISA and ended up calling the bank to report it as fraud. Below are the screenshots of our text message conversation.
