I would choose Tambra over and over again for the following reasons: 1) She was responsive and available. I was always able to reach Tambra whether it was through text, call, or email. She always made a point to be available to us and responded to all of our requests almost immediately. Or, if she was particularly busy one weekend, she would acknowledge our request and let us know that she would get back to us within the next 72 hours. Her responsiveness was incredibly important to us, because in planning a wedding, everything feels urgent and important. It was really reassuring to know that she was always just a text away if we needed her. 2) She was kind and patient. I was constantly impressed by how pleasant it was working with Tambra. As a couple, we were incredibly indecisive and changed our minds on some big ticket items multiple times. Tambra very gracefully supported us through our decisions and never once made us feel judged or guilty for changing our minds. I could tell that she is truly a kind person who really cares for her clients. This was so important to me, because as a bride you want the planning process to be pleasant. Tambra always made me feel like I was being supported. 3) She was organized, dependable, and professional. Tambra delivered beyond our expectations on our wedding day. During the days leading up to the wedding, she was checking in almost every day just to ask if we had any hiccups come up. On the day before the wedding, she helped us secure last minute space heaters for the wedding due to inclement weather. She also pre-walked the ceremony grounds and recruited staff to mow the lawn and clean up twigs since she felt it not up to her standards. On the wedding day, thing ran so smoothly. I very much owe our perfect wedding to Tambra's planning skills and foresight to ensure everything was planned. She also offered expert tips that we would not have known had we not had her experience, such as how to time out the day, how to make a ceremony seating chart, when to time photos with sunset, etc. Tambra's execution of our wedding day made all of the cost of the wedding worth it. Things started off well with Katie, but I was stood up by her around four times without communication about whether she was running late or had taken another couple. I eventually requested to work with someone else because I wanted to feel like my wedding was being taken seriously. I was then assigned to Charlotte, who was absolutely wonderful! She was helpful, communicative, and made me feel heard. Unfortunately, I later received an email saying I had another wedding planner. I'm assuming Charlotte was no longer there, but it was frustrating having to start over again. Then I was assigned Jazlynn. I explained my vision and expectations multiple times, just as I had with the previous planners. Unfortunately, I did not feel supported. It was difficult to reach her, and at one point it took about a week to receive a response. I eventually had to go to the chapel myself to get help from another wedding planner. I also asked about having pictures taken of my dad's reaction when I got out of the limo. I was told that doing a first look with my dad would cost $400. I understand additional services cost money, but I was disappointed that I wasn't given any other options or alternatives. If you are getting married within a month, this may work for you. But if you are planning your wedding five months or more in advance, I would personally recommend looking elsewhere based on my experience. The wedding day itself was also disappointing. The limo was late picking me up. When I arrived at the chapel, I was rushed because they were "on a time crunch." I had already communicated exactly how I wanted the seating arranged and had discussed it with the coordinators and all three wedding planners. It was even written down. Yet when I walked down the aisle, what I had requested was not followed. That was one of the most upsetting parts because I felt like I had spent months explaining my vision and expectations, only for them not to matter when the actual day came. I also received information about expected tips of $35+ for the coordinator and photographer and $50+ for the minister, which was difficult to understand given my overall experience. I reached out to the manager by email last week regarding my concerns and, as of today, I still have not received a response. I understand that weddings can be hectic and that things don't always go perfectly. However, I expected better communication, organization, and attention to the details I repeatedly discussed. Charlotte was wonderful, and I truly appreciate the help she gave me. Unfortunately, the overall planning experience and the way things were handled on my wedding day left me very disappointed.

Are kids were so excited to be here and it showed in their love of chasing each other around my parents home, resulting in us moms running around the house attempting to block any potential damage our toddlers might cause. My mom had a great idea of renting a bounce house for the kids. I had no idea you could just rent a bounce house and have it delivered to your door. Let me tell you it was the best idea we had all week. The kids played for hours and the moms could watch and catch up. The company came and set it up in the front yard, instructed us on how to use it, and then came and took it down for us in the end. It was a stress free, worry free activity for our kids. We will be doing this every time our family gets together.

I still haven't gotten my highlight video (6+ months) or the partial refund he promised me 3+ months ago. I don't even have footage of my first look. And honestly, it means nothing to me, and not worth nearly $1000. They are just recordings from a camera stand. I could've done that for free with a tripod and iPhone. Take a look at his last e-mail, my last e-mail, and a copy of his ridiculous contract. It only covers his own ass, not the customer's. And he can't even abide by his own rule of providing the video in 6 weeks. It is now going on 6+ months. It is devastating. Weddings can be quite stressful, especially when planning them yourself. But after every pre-wedding meeting with him we felt so assured because we knew that Russell had it handled. We had lots of questions for him and he had answers, and thanks to his advice we were able to smartly plan out the entire wedding. He made sure to check on all the family dynamics to make sure to not accidentally cause drama between guests, and helped talk us through the schedule with his extensive wedding experience. Once the day came he was very professional and on top of everything, and there was never a moment that went off track or caught him off guard. Russell was able to easily direct our families for the group photos and made sure that nobody felt left out. We even had our dog present for the first look, ceremony, and group photos, and it didn't phase him one bit. Afterwards Russell made sure we were happy with how our photos turned out (which of course we were, because Russell is great), and we were easily able to communicate with him about any notes we had during the wedding album preparation, and we're so happy with the result. I mean i was 8 months prego.. 50 lbs more than a prego suppose to weigh... my pictures turned out HOT. I think she got the magic touch! At first i was kind of uncomfortable taking photos of my big belly. Heather was so easy going... she eased any uncomfortable feelings i had. This was my first pregnancy. So naturally I want the pictures to be magical. They were perfect! I am so happy with them. Fast forward... 9 months after my maternity session. I now have a beautiful baby girl with a mean frown. Our first holidays together. So around halloween, i dressed her up as a little lady bug. We called heather again and heather made my girl smile and now i have memories of my little lady bug on her first halloween. Heather is amazing, she's great. Super easy to work with and creative!
