Unfortunately these lashes didn't meet my expectations. While Mariah is an absolute joy as a person & super nice - her work is just not for me. I was getting hybrid lash extensions for over two years in Nevada. I moved to WA & found Babe Lash and it had great reviews. I went to Mariah for two months trying to see if maybe I was just getting adjusted and we even talked about how it wasn't what I was used to so we could tweak the approach. I took care of my lashes in the same manner I had been for years. I dont wear any eye makeup, no oils, no brushing while wet, keeping them clean etc etc. My previous retention was stellar & I never had problems. With this work- it would look pretty good for a few days! Then by day 4 or 5 things just go meh.. the fans looked clumpy and applied too hastily. Mariahs fills are 20 minutes or less and while speed is a good thing sometimes, if I'm paying for a service like this I want to enjoy the effects for longer than a handful of days. I made a last minute appointment. This appointment would've been my first time there. When I called because I couldn't find the location, I was told that they were right across the street from the Martin Way Diner. There is a hair, nail and lash salon across from the diner which I went into. They took me back and set me up and I received my extensions. After I was done, I had a voice mail that I was a "no call/no show and was charged $155 for not showing. Had the person been more specific, I would've been at the right place. Not to mention their signage is poorly placed. I could understand a nominal fee for a "no call/no show" but the entire cost is outrageous. That's not good business. The extensions I received are beautiful and I am very happy with them. Perhaps Babe Lash staff should discuss amongst themselves how to explain the proper location of their salon so that they are all on the same page. Clearly I wouldn't recommend this place of business for the above mentioned situation. read more

I went to Mariah for well over 6 months after staying in Lacey. My lashes would look really beautiful when first completed but would start falling off a few days later. I was use to my fills taking at least an hour at the previous studio I received services from and my lashes always lasted. I was told by Mariah that my lashes were falling off because of the heat or because I should wash them daily. My father passed away and I had to go out of town for several weeks so attempted to have my lashes done and was told that whoever was doing my lashes were not doing them properly and my own lashes had become seriously unhealthy and I should consider finding someone else. She did not even try to do a fill and gave me some recommendations on lash vitamins and serum to try and get my lashes to a healthy state again. Even after being told this I still continued to go to Mariah faithfully and even switched to the classic lashes but still had problems with retention and one particular time almost all the lashes fell out on one side and I was told by Mariah that she should be charging me for a full set even though she continued to complete my fills in 20 minutes or less. I have since found someone new and my lashes are finally healthy again, my extensions last and the service is never rushed. Lesson learned. read more

They lash over lash over lash over lash. they never take grown ones out. never clean your lashes. charge waaaaay too much money for their service. She ruined my natural lashes. I also was always told I needed a new set and that's why I'd get saggy lashes. Before coming here (my lash girl went on maternity leave. Thankful I'm back with her) I got extensions for 2 years and never needed a new set. I never experienced saggy lashes either. I got my lashes done here for the first time and I completely regret it. The girl who did my lashes DID NOT WASH HER HANDS BEFORE SHE STARTED THE FILL while she was doing my lashes she kept touching her phone then going back to my lashes and that isn't very sanitary if you ask me. she got glue stuck to my bottom lashes and in my eye , she rushed through the process and did them in 30 mins when I had a hour long appointment. It feels like my lashes are really heavy and are being tugged and full of glue, 50% of them fell out the next day. The way my lashes looked were ridiculous. I went back in to have her get the lash extension that was stuck on my bottom lid and fix another part of my lash but I was told that I just need to brush them even though the extensions are poking my eye!! It was very unprofessional that the person was talking about her surgery the whole time and more worried about going to lunch with her friend rather then being focused on her client and making sure my lashes were done properly. I came here for only a short amount of time. I'm not one to leave negative reviews but I feel like it's my obligation to warn anyone looking for a decent lash job. Like other reviews, the lashes were clumpy and heavy after a couple days and too heavy for my natural lash. I understand if I'm asking for a voluminous look, and you want to listen to my request, but as a lash artist you should make the call to look out for the client's health/integrity of their natural lash. Mariah is super sweet and adorable but her work felt rushed--my current lash lady had to remove all her work because there were clusters stuck to multiple of my natural lashes--A HUGE no-no in the handbook. This is common knowledge. Plus having years of lash jobs there's no way you could do a quality, proper fill in under 30 minutes. Her work is beautiful on camera, in your selfies, and at first I thought it was convenient I only had to stay for 20 minutes, but PLEASE reconsider if you want to protect the health of your natural lashes! read more

They last minute cancelled because of the snow and wouldn't answer any of my calls or give me a reschedule date. Came here because my boyfriend actually gave me Mariah's card!
