I'm so sorry, but if I make the appointment that morning, I obviously don't have 24 hours to cancel, ...AND if you're going to make up new policies THAT VERY DAY YOU SHOULD AT LEAST TELL THE CUSTOMER AHEAD OF TIME! I'm not the type of person to complain, but I called this morning just to let them know that the wax used in that one room must be overly hot because this has never happened before to him. This was at 9 AM. six hours later and she has not even called. Horrible customer service you would think she'd be worried about burning someone's eyelids . they charged me $27

After relocating back to NJ, I had to find a new place to take care of my hair removal needs. I…read morehappened to be riding down 35 and happened to notice I'd Wax That tucked away in a strip mall. I went home and looked it up online. It looked like a place I'd like to go to, so I did! I booked my first appointment for a leg wax with Morgan. On the date and time of my appointment, I arrived and checked in. Shortly after, Morgan came out to get me. My leg wax went well and as she was waxing me, I mentioned that I was pretty much due for my next Brazilian, so I'm unsure why I didn't just book it with my leg wax. She mentioned that we had a little extra time in our appointment slot, and she could squeeze it in. Perfect! I ended up going back on another date to get my eyebrows done and that was a pretty good experience as well. Being that I was an avid customer at another wax place before moving to this area, here's a few things I wish I'd Wax That had to offer that I'm accustomed to: - The use of a cooling gel on those really sensitive areas (such as your upper lip) post-wax - Offering packages/bundles of services. For example, being able to get your eyebrows, Brazilian, and legs bundled together at one price with a slight discount for doing them all together - A frequent customer punch card...after a certain amount of visits, you get a discount on your next visit Nevertheless, I think I found my place...at least for now. I'm glad I was able to support a small local business rather than the common European Wax Center.

They informed me of products that I could use, and that they offer other services such as facials as well. I cannot wait to come back for the same and other services. They were so incredibly friendly! And made me feel very comfortable.

I didn't like my pedicure at all. She barely exfoliated my feet, skipped cleaning under the nails. Didn't let the base dry before adding the polish. My right toe was lumpy. The only reason I didn't give a lower rating is the owner seemed very nice and I wanted to support a woman business owner. The salon is a bit rundown looking. The basic pedicure is $30 which is very reasonable.

However, the lady offered to give me a complimentary touch up a week after, which I thought was nice. Clients were coming in back to back for waxing in the couple of hours that I was there, so this must be the place to go! The owner, Julie, is very rude and hostile when you hold her accountable for her nonsense…read more For 3 appointments in a row, she kept me waiting while she either arrived late or helped other walk-ins before me. The last appointment, she asked me to come in 30 minutes early, which I did. The point of this was to give me time to pick out a color; allegedly. When I arrived, she was not there, only her husband. Upon arrival, he rudely directed me to "sit in the chair" after I greeted him hello. When he asked me to choose colors from the swatches, I called out about TEN COLORS only for him to tell me that they did not have that color. Finally, Julie arrives 40 minutes after I arrived. She explained that her husband does not know where any of the colors are. Only she does. So basically, there was NO reason for me to get there 30 minutes earlier as he was not able to help locate the colors, only she could do this. I finally spoke up asked "I got here 9:00. Why was I told to get here 30 minutes early." That is when she insinuated hand gestures to be quiet and not to ask. She would not answer and dismissed my question. When I asked again, she gave a huge attitude ; angry tone and said something like "Stop talking about this so I can work; are you going to talk?? Then I can not work" Later she told me that she wanted me to sit nicely and quietly while she keeps me waiting, just like her other customers do. Um, no thanks. Some other details: The place you dunk your feet in for pedicures looks dirty; as if it is something you may find in your garage. On two occasions, she cut too deep into my cuticle and almost caused an infection in one finger, redness in the other. I notice that they do not have all the colors that are offered on the swatches. She did the worse cat eye I have ever seen in my life. You can hardly see the cat eye and it faded quickly. The nail polish they use always seems to get dull marks very quickly. Both points she claimed were my fault for using harsh chemicals (which I dont') And this never happened at other salons. Stay clear of here.
