This was my first experience here, I had an appointment booked at 10am, I sat in the pedicure chair and chose my pedicure. I chose a pedicure that was for 60 minutes. ( as a nurse and being on my feet this was something I was looking forward to!). The pedicure experience was extremely rushed, there wasn't anything relaxing about it.. the "60 minute" pedicure was completely done by 10:35. Then we moved to mani chair. Again very rushed and sub par.. there wasn't really any care in to the manicure or cuticle care which was done very quickly. I got gel polish for my fingernails hoping it will last longer but I don't think it will. They were completed with lifted edges. read more

hit or miss. staff is usually rude and have pulled my arm multiple times while getting my nails done or made unnecessarily rude comments towards me. i'm usually polite and quiet. more recent interaction the man used dirty utensils. i developed some sort of fungus on my finger from them. don't go. there are plenty of other places in stephenville that are better. read more

I have only been here once, but probably won't go back. The utensils the tech used were used and not clean. I asked for an acrylic fill, the tech shaped my nails nicely and after didn't ask me to wash...errr? I asked for gel nail polish, she painted my nails, then added cuticle oil and then tells me to go wash my hands.... Errr? I've never had gel nail polish peel off but dang it it hasn't. I'm new in town, so I think I'll try a different place next time. read more

Kylie is by far the best manicurist I've ever had in all the in decades of getting my nails done! I've been using dip for the past 4 years starting in Washinton DC at a top salon. When I moved I struggled to find anyone who could do a decent job without ruining my nails. Then I discovered Kylie, who is the very best! She's so quick that the first time she did my nails I was skeptical they'd turn out and last. After 5 manicures I can easily say I've hd zero problems. They look great, stay on, no chipping (even after 4 weeks when I was out of town and couldn't get back in), and no coming up on the edges. Well.. they gave me the nail shape and color I wanted, but it was 100% not worth it. Nick serviced me and as he was shaping my nails DUG in my skin with the nail file. I was flinching my hand back so he then tried to file off the edge of his tool and continued on the same spot. There was not really communication or attempt to stop or move my skin back to get the closer file he was aiming for. The electric file also did more damage over the scabs from the nail file. At the end of the appointment he checked my fingers and sent me to the wash station, no cuticle oil, just my ticket. I paid and walked out to see if the pain was just because it was recent, but the pain persisted so I went back in and got half my money back. Again, the shape and color is perfect, I just don't enjoy having fresh nails with some fresh cuts to go along with it... This is my college town and lesson learned to continue going home for all future appointments. read more

I got lazy and decided not to do my own nails for once, and this is what I ended up with. I can appreciate that they were busy, but I don't think this is quality work by any standard. My tech was about to put the top coat on when I stopped him, because I knew I wasn't going to pay for work like this. He got really mad when I said I wasn't happy with it and started to argue with me. I took pictures because I was worried I would be charged. My first time here. I don't feel that I got the pedicure I paid for unless they count the 30 minute massage to include the time I sat with my feet in the water waiting for someone to come. Then the same guy, Lou, did my nails. When he asked me if I liked them and I told what I didn't like, he either didn't understand or didn't care. If I could leave negative stars I would. According to this salon's description of itself as "Among our many priorities a grade- A sanitation", one would feel safe coming here to get their nails and toes done. For me, this has not been the case. For two months I have been battling and trying to treat the worst case of nail fungus on ten fingernails and ten toes. This is not a coincidence. This is dirty tools. Poor sanitation practices. Period. Pics included so I can possibly save one person from contracting what did. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. And yes, I have filed a complaint with the Texas Board of Cosmetology. If you read their reviews, this is not an isolated case and I promise you that treating this fungus is a long and painful process. I have thought long and hard about posting these reviews as I was a long time client of the salon and always had a great experience. I will never set foot in that nail spa again! I came here on Wednesday to get my nails done and they sat me in a chair... 45 minutes later nobody had come to help me so I got up and left. I made an appointment for 5pm the next day, got there at 4:30, and still hadn't been helped at 6pm. I love how they do my nails, but I will not return when I have an appointment and get zero help. Absolutely the worst pedicure. The lady used an electricfile and damaged 2 toenails. after cutting the toenails down with a cutical cutter she wasn't going to file and shape the nails. Because of a language barrier another women stepped in to translate. The lady was so rough she scratched legs. I did tell the owner and her response was "sorry" and walked away. Horrible. I've been to many nail salons and this by far was my worst experience. From the start the nail tech was making me feel extremely rushed which is the exact opposite of how a spa should be. She didn't soak off my previous set, instead she took a nail extension and scraped/peeled them off which caused my nail bed to bleed. She didn't feel the need to apologize instead she put acetone on all my nails which burned really bad. She left powder all over my fingernails and then told me to go wash them which resulted in my fingers looking like my skin was peeling off. (I had to scrub my fingers with hot water and soap once I got home to get all of the stuff off my fingers) When I came back to get my stuff she had already sat another girl down at her station and I had to reach around them to get my things. She then charged me $55 instead of the regular $45. She said $5 extra because she had to take my old nails off; this girl literally made my fingernails bleed because of how rough she was, I should not have to pay for that. And another $5 extra because I asked for her to not clip them so short so she charged me for "extra long nails" .. she literally clipped them one centimeter longer than where she was going to cut. She was absolutely horrible and I will NOT be going back there. read more

I got an older lady that took no time at all & wasn't even going to give my feet & legs a rub down with lotion.
