This is my favorite nail place!! I have been coming here consistently for the last 6 years! Anytime I go somewhere else I regret it!!! The staff is all so kind and caring! I've been coming so long they all know my name and make me feel so welcome! Today when I came the whole place was empty (except for the staff) which is crazy because they are always busy! (It's spring break) and I got such special treatment! I also got to watch the staff work together to clean each nail polish, keeping them fresh and ready for future clients! It is really cool to see how much care and love they have for their space!! I also got to hold Jojo while I got my pedicure today! Puppy and pedicures?! I mean that's the best therapy out there!! Saturday, my daughter, my granddaughter and I went to to get our nails done. My daughter got a terrible cut on her thumb from the man worked on her, his wife had her and I switch places, then was my turn to get a cut on my finger. I will not go back to that nail salon, only one who walked out of that salon unscathed was my seven-year-old granddaughter, because we did not allow them to do any filing on her. read more

We did the $45 pedicure that came with a free hand collagen wrap thing which made my hands super soft. I love the hot stone massage on my legs with my feet in the wax stuff. This is a busy location! I got a Dip Manicure for $40 and it took 45 minutes with no extra services. I wanted to do color dip powder, but the staff informed me that wasn't a service they offer (even though there are hundreds of color powders on display) because they don't want to have to remove all the powder each manicure - They would prefer to apply colored gel polish on top of the clear dip powder and remove the gel polish only for each manicure. I believe this process takes the manicurist less time to remove the old manicure and allows them to double charge. This wasn't the service I wanted, but that's "how they do it." Overall, my experience was fine, but nothing special. I had to request a couple of my nails to be fixed even though there were clearly imperfections in the polish. My overall manicure is cute, but a little messier than I would prefer. Products used are Clear CnC Gel Base, Clear Chisel Dip Powder, White French Tip DND Gel Polish, & Clear CnC Gel Top Coat. read more

I asked for jell nails and got acrylic nails. They were too thick, apparently my fault for not saying anything. I assumed the professional knew what she was doing. Went back to have them fixed, which was a beautiful job, but still acrylic which I hate as it chews up my mail beds and i would have been charged 28$ for a different color. Most business would have fixed the mistake, apologized and changed the color if I wanted to since it was all sanded off anyway, to keep their client. Told the owner I wasn't coming back and he didn't care. Been a customer of theirs for 10 years. Won't be going back and will share my experience with anyone and everyone. Didn't get my cuticles cut even thought I asked for a manicure and she proceeded to put on powder on my nails when I never asked for it and she didn't ask me if I wanted it done. Nail tech was rude and impatient. This was my second visit with this woman. She did an excellent job both times but on this visit she was very rude and unprofessional when my hand moved and she jerked it around making verbal comments. I expressed out loud that I would "shut the hell up so that I wouldn't get my ass chewed out" the owner or manager was at the table next to me and made no comments towards her employees behavior. I went in to Lux Bar in American Fork, Utah for a fill. 1. I ask for my nails to be filed square with a SLIGHT curve. I even showed her what I wanted and she acted like she was insulted. She ended up filing the tip oval! 2. I brought my own gel polish and ask her to do a design which I had a photo of when she finished painting them. I had to stop her when I could tell she has no clue how to freehand the design. I ask her to take the "design" off. The gel must not have been cured long enough because I have ripples in the polish where she tried to remove it. I didn't notice at the time but wondered why she said, "that okay." I ask her if she could just do a design on my ring finger. Simple lines! That finger needed a different color of paint. Instead of filing the polish off then painting the new color on the nail she proceeded to paint over the existing color. So now I have FOUR coats of polish. Two of the original polish and two of the other polish. It looks horrid! 3. Some of the nails have been filed down while others are thick. They look terrible! I would NEVER recommend this place! They have zero idea what they are doing when they say they do. The nail polish is also starting to chip and I only had them done two days ago. Total waste of time and money! read more

Bad experience here. I thought explaining how I'm taking my engagement pictures today would give some extra effort. I was wrong. Without asking she clips my REAL nails with acrylic on top that I have been trying to grow out, using a flat nail clipper that hurts very bad. Then tells me she's just going to give me a "new set" when I didn't have one to begin with and not what I went in there asking for and uses a fake nail to slice under the acrylic and rips off my real nails, making me bleed. After handing me off to another worker he did okay but the entire experience hurt very much and the finished product was was not worth $66. The nail shapes are different, some being more pointed when others are round. The ombré is not even, and most of my nails are slanted. Overall very disappointing and debating to go somewhere else to get them fixed. read more

Very covid friendly. Everyone wears masks and no outside people that aren't getting services are allowed. I got a hot rocks pedicure and it was amazing. I also got a simple manicure and both looked great! I got a chip before leaving but my nail artist fixed it without me even asking. Great service! I definitely recommend. You can make an appointment or walk in but we brought 5 family members so definitely needed the appt. They got us all in together so we were done at the same time. Every time I do gel polisj they file and shape the nail after the top coat is applied and cured. This doesn't make much sense to me because it thins or completely removes the seal of top coat that was just applied. And not surprisingly, my nails start chipping in like 3 days. read more

Pedi was amazing by the guy who did it. Acrylic fill with gel by a female nail tech was pretty bad. She didn't get any of the lifting out (my nails were 2 weeks from last fill at a different salon), the shape was... shapeless, length was uneven, they were crooked, acrylic on the cuticles, she didn't let me wash my hands before applying the gel (nor did she wipe the filings off), and she didn't use a base coat. Needless to say my nails were bumpy and the gel peeled off the very next day. Zero attention to detail. They looked awful, not surprising because it took her less than 30 minutes to do them. The owner offered to redo them but I do not have time to go back and frankly have no desire to - there are way too many other salons out there. read more

I've made an appointment for 2 full set. They were not able to fit me in I could see that they are understaffed, they told me to come back 2-3 hours later I agreed. When I came back they only were able to do my daughter set, and told me to come back another day. This is unacceptable. read more

This is a pretty standard little nail salon, nothing special. I usually get my manicures when I go to the spa, so I'm used to considerably more pampering than I got here.
