I really tried to like this place. But I've decided to stop going to I Love Lashes. One, they've…read moreconsistently taken 3 hours to do a fill on my lashes. That's just way too long. It's never taken more than 1.5 hours for me to get a fill with my favorite lash artist back home. Plus their chairs are not very comfy. I start to get really sore when I'm laying on their chair past the second hour. I just don't feel like I get enough bang for my buck going there. $90 for a fill (and then I always tip too) but I have to wait 24 hours before getting my lashes wet and they seem to fall out much quicker...which is probably why it takes them longer to fill them in when I come back for my appointments. I flew back home for a weekend and went back to my favorite lash artist and she showed me that their volume fans aren't as flared as how she does it, that's why they don't look as full. I walked out of there LOVING my eyelash extensions and it was only $60 for a fill. It's been 3 weeks and my extensions still look great. I'm sticking with Borboleta instead of Xtreme. I think I Love Lashes has great customer service and they definitely know what they're doing. But this place is not for me.

First of all -- SPEED. I was in and out way faster than expected, without ever feeling rushed. Second -- she is so sweet and easy to talk to, which immediately puts you at ease when someone is literally hovering over your eyeballs. Now let's talk about the lashes themselves because WOW. They were done beautifully -- full, clean, lightweight, and perfectly styled for my eyes. And here's the part that really matters: it's been over a month and my lashes still look amazing. This is the first time I've felt compiled to write a review about my experience. I am currently working out of Coos Bay and commuting to Seattle every month to see my family. Eugene is the closest area where I feel like there would be someone with experience to deal with my lashes. I have very thin, sparse and straight lashes. It's not easy to find someone who is experienced and understanding of this because I've had many who butchered my extensions and caused irritation and just plain terrible lashes. This may not be everyone's preference but I prefer full but shorter length lashes because it suits me best. Again, this is my preference. I am glad I did a little research and also looked at their Instagram. I saw another person who has similar lashes as me that got a foreign filled with Elsie and I thought it looked great. I went ahead and did a removal and new full set. I wasn't too happy with my previous because I felt it was too long and uncomfortable grow outs. I did see others here complained of how long it takes. However, when I made the appointment online, it did show the appointment was for 3 hours so I knew what to expect. I also drove 2 hours from Coos Bay for this appointment. First, I appreciated Elsie taking the time to go over what my dislikes were about my current and previous lashes then went over options and showed me photos of what she recommends. She looked at my current lashes prior to removal and then showed me what it'd look like (a few lashes on) with the new curl and length. Every brand of lashes are different. Her 0.2 diameter were a lot thinner than my 0.2 diameter of what I had on previously. I am glad she was thorough and explained and showed me that because all I knew was my lashes are thin so it can't support too thick or too many lashes. However, this made me trust her recommendation more because of her knowledge and awareness. We agreed on path forward and she went on applying my lashes. She does fill over 90%, if not all, of your lashes. I have had only one other lash artist who has done this and she also took about 2-3 hours each time. However, my lash extensions lasts a lot longer with artists who does this. I can go for 4-6 weeks before I need a refill. I have also had others who only took 45-60 minutes to fill or new set and I would have to go in every 2 weeks because I would have chunks of it missing and by week 4, I would have nothing left. To each their own. A few days after my new set from Elsie (I always let it settle for a few days; wash and brush it out before deciding), I texted her. I am SOOO happy with my set and this is the second time ever in the years of having lash extensions that I've been actually happy with them. Did not even know M curls existed but I'm never going back! I've had numerous compliments on how these look very nice, compliment my eyes and face. I don't have to worry about the wind making my lashes fly away per my husband :D I'm at week 4 and I still have 70-80% left. I am very happy and will be sad when I move to Vegas and have to find someone else :(

May be a little overpriced, but it's worth it to not have to go to one of those crummy run-of-the-mill nail&waxing salons. 4) Convenient location! Annual touchups stopped in 2018 when I retired and we moved back to Oregon and we faced years of Covid. The tattoo lines faded and it became clear I needed to find someone nearby I could trust for touchups. For years, I have struggled with finding anyone nearby. Then, my daughter found the website for Nadia at Monarch Studios in nearby Eugene. We were impressed by the enthusiastic comments from her customers. I will be 75 next month and asked for this gift to help me during the heat of summer. I sweat a lot and this makeup is the best possible solution. At my age, despite my invaluable 10x lighted mirror, eye liner and brows are not easy to see and the excessive sweating adds a challenge that I do not need or want. Nadia met me to discuss her services ahead of setting an appointment. Nadia could not have been kinder, more reassuring or patient. My confidence was reaffirmed by the outstanding experience during the procedure and reconfirmed by the excellent results. I can wake up, swim, exercise and sweat again, without worry about streaks or touchups. It looks so natural and my previous stylist would be happy to know I am feeling my best again. If anyone wonders is there much pain, I would tell you Definitely not. I actually fell asleep while Nadia did her thing in her peaceful studio, listening to calm music. After, when the numbness wore off, I only had the sense of dryness, verging on itchy for a day. The ointment was easy to apply and then there was no noticeable discomfort. I love the results. It was so great to be able to get dressed up and dance recently at our good friends' 50th anniversary party. Travel to the east coast will be so much simpler next month, with lots less to pack. I look so much more polished with these brows and I needed a low maintenance option to accomplish any amount of polish. I can't be bothered with day to day makeup and touch ups. She did makeup for several people and even provided free makeup for the girlies 5 and under. She was so incredible with all of the kids. Megan is friendly, funny, and very kind. She will put you at ease on your special day. The makeup she did on my face looked beautiful. I felt so confident and stunning. Unfortunately, I have oily skin. I have to be very selective about the products I use because I don't want smile lines or shine coming through. I had to blot a couple times before the wedding and a few more times after. This is not to say that Megan didn't do a good job. This just means that the products she used didn't get my oily skin through the night. For an additional charge it would be great to be able to get a little touch up kit. I know the Bride could have used one. I would also love to see some products for oily skin. Thank you Megan! :)
