Those 2 sweet women saved me from having bad hair for possibly weeks, they went to bat for me with the inquiring and even pushing to get me in for an apptmt appointment! The story only gets better bc Brian was absolutely amazing, exactly as good as Nicole and Lea said he was!! He made my old stylist and salon look like the had no skill at all and made me wish I had switched a year ago!!! My Color was perfection!! Much better than what I had. My Cut was so stunning and styled so perfectly! I have been styling my hair the same way he did when I was there and it looks so much better. He also took the time to explain to me white platinum hair needs Bright blue shampoo, not purple, which I had been using to no avail! He recommended a blue shampoo and conditioner to me and also a metal detox shampoo to get all the hard water build up out of my hair!! So necessary you have no idea!! Good for any color but esp blonde!! City water destroys your hair and your color!!! He also used and then recommended a new type of organic styling wax to help hold and shine my hair. He gave me so much insight into everything I've been doing all wrong with my hair and all the tools to fix it!! He recolored and styled it beyond all my expectations, and I've been feeling much more attractive ever since. He's a really sweet, talkative, fun person as well and it really makes the time go by so fast you forget your at the salon and not just chilling w a friend!!! The salon is beautiful, beyond immaculate, trendy, cool vibe, good music, etc. All the young women who work there are just rock stars!! So cool and kind! Corbyn helped me the next day a few times as well when I forgot the name of the new styling wax I wanted to buy. She called me back twice and made sure I had the name and the spelling, went out of her way to wait for Brian to finish w his client and got right back to me!! Truly I think they love to go out of their way to make you happy!!!! I just adore everyone so far who works here and truly feel like I found my new salon home for my very intense and hard to do hair cut!! I'm beyond excited and can't wait to be a regular!!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!…read more I have been a client of Moxie Morristown for over two years. I originally found the salon through Groupon and was fortunate to work with Lella, who was excellent. Because of her professionalism and skill, I purchased multiple packages for haircuts, glazes, and color services. Unfortunately, my experience with the Morristown location steadily declined after she left. First, I was reassigned to Cece, who then left. Next, I was scheduled with Lucas, a Master Colorist, only to learn shortly before my appointment that Lucas would not be available and I would instead be seeing a brand-new stylist. At no point was I contacted beforehand and given the option to reschedule. Instead, I was simply moved from one stylist to another based on availability. I understand that employee turnover happens, but clients should not be treated as interchangeable appointments. If I book with a specific stylist, especially a Master Colorist, I expect to be informed if that person is unavailable and given the choice of whether to proceed or reschedule. Because I was uncomfortable with the constant reshuffling, I visited the Moxie Montville location instead. The difference was remarkable. The staff there were professional, accommodating, and took me immediately. I was so impressed that I purchased an additional package to continue services with them. However, because Morristown refused to refund the remaining balance on my package, I was forced to return there to use my remaining services. That decision turned out to be a mistake. At my most recent color appointment, the stylist failed to review my color history and used a reddish shade that was completely different from my established color. I didn't realize the mistake until I got home. When I returned and asked that the error be corrected, I was told they could not fit me in until the following day. Once again, Moxie Montville stepped in and accommodated me immediately. They corrected the mistake the same day. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability from management. Rather than taking responsibility, I was told that the Montville location should have entered my color information into the system. Yet I personally confirmed that the information had in fact been entered. The issue was not missing information--it was that nobody at Morristown took the time to review it before applying color to my hair. Throughout this process, manager Chaya did little to resolve the situation. I was repeatedly told that refunds were not possible and that I would need to contact corporate myself. Between the constant staff turnover, poor communication, scheduling practices, color mistake, and lack of accountability, I can no longer recommend the Moxie Morristown location. If you value consistency, communication, and attention to detail, I would strongly suggest considering another salon or, at the very least, a different Moxie location.

I would never come here due to the staffs questionable decision making skills…read more Today while walking the street and attempting to dine with my family I witnessed an employee attacking a delivery truck driver that was blocking their driveway. Rather than using manners, the employee blew up, harassing the driver with screaming, cursing, and getting in his face while he was simply trying to complete his job and move the truck. Blocking a driveway is a minor inconvenience and not one that warrants extreme aggression. I'd hate to think what would happen if something went wrong during an appointment and god for bid you didnt tip well, you might get hit! Remember that your actions are seen by others around you and it's important to maintain a professional aura at work even when things aren't going your way!
