Took my 03 Lexus LS430 to Lux for some TLC. There were a ton of swirls and fine scratches and black is difficult color to deal with. In direct sunlight, all the marks on the car really showed up. Nolan and Johnny were friendly and professional from the start. They are completely deserving of all their 5 star ratings. Nolan is very knowledgeable, and it's good to meet someone that has mastered their craft. After discussing options, I went for CQuartz finest and am completely satisfied with the results. Deep gloss and it resists water and dust. I cannot believe this car is an '03. I will definitely be returning for maintenance later! read more

Nolan is super knowledgeable about detailing and car care and answered all my questions and concerns about caring for my car. He provided excellent car care tips and gave me a great deal on their products. When I came to pick up my car, it looked amazing! The paint was smooth to the touch and it had that "wet" look that I wanted. Nolan worked on my girlfriend's BLACK Lexus 330 and it turned out great. It still shines two weeks after he detailed the car and applied the sealant. For my BLACK Lexus GS450, I decided to go with paint correction since it had some swirls and scratches. Unfortunately the first time Nolan and Matt worked on it, the sealant they applied did not react well the paint. No worries though, Nolan asked me to bring it back in and he would correct the issue. I had the pleasure of having my car detailed at Eco yesterday. When I brought it in, I met Matt ... He was personable and pleasant. My car hadn't been detailed in years. I bought my wife a 1965 poppy red Mustang convertible to fulfill one of her oldest bucket list wishes. It was a total surprise. I picked it up in Indiana where the owner restored it completely, and then I drove it back to San Diego. Four long, hot days, 2500 miles. It had to be perfect before I delivered it to its new owner. When I pulled up, Jonathan checked it in with great courtesy and customer service. Nolan arrived on time and advised the best course for this car. He was personable and responsive to my needs. He did not try to oversell me on services unwarranted at this time. I would have easily paid more to bring out the car's best, but he focused on the details that mattered most including a thorough engine bay detail and removing oxidation spots from the chrome that I feared were permanent. When I picked the car up it was, as my father-in-law described it, obscenely clean! Wow, even better than how I imagined it would come out! I found a deal on yelp for 55 bucks for exterior detail on living social. I got scheduled pretty fast with Nolan. But Jon and Shane were the real stars as they went to work on my newly purchased 2003 miata. They were done in about 90 mins since I have a tiny car and my paint wasn't that bad. The result? They buffed out my crappy headlights to look new and they claybar my car that left my car feeling like butter. The finish look awesome and were straight up with me on what to expect. Do note, yes it is waterless. Yes there are plenty of waterless wash systems out there that is perfectly safe on your car from companies like optimum and from black fire, so dont fret. Just purchased a new Black 2014 Honda Accord. After talking with Nolan, he strongly recommend that I bring the car in for an Opti Coat Pro paint sealant and scratch removal. Even though the car is brand new, there were some scratches from the dealer washes. Now that I have had Nolan work on the car and apply Opti Coat Pro to it, the car looks much better than the day I drove it off the lot. He removed the scratches that were there, I was really impressed! Thanks to Nolan and the guys at Eco Detail for recommending this product. Yup. This place is as good as it gets! I have a white 2003 Acura that had gotten some oxidation from the sun so it had these terrible brown/gray staining all over it, in addition to some sap and bird poop stains that weren't coming out during regular washings and cloudy headlamps. In general my car was in desperate need of some TLC. It's an old car but I don't want it to look like crap if I'm going to hang onto it for a bit longer. From the very first phone call to the minute I left these guys were amazing, processional, courteous, knowledgeable. The work they did was AWESOME. My car pretty much looked like crap when I brought it to them (and I was embarrassed about it too) and when I got it back it looked brand spanking new. My car hadn't looked that good since the day I bought it. There are not enough good things to say about this place from the service to the quality of work.... simply AWESOME. I have a Black Acura TL-S for several years which I have never detailed before until I brought the Elite Detail package. Busy guys (and nice guys). Scheduling a month out now. They're swamped with Groupons, Living Social, and other "coupons", so I had to take a cancellation time. Sure glad I did! Great, friendly, personable guys, no real upsell involved (I did get the interior detailing, and extra from my Living Social coupon), and they finished early. The exterior was done amazingly well. It is better than new, and this is a ten-year-old car, with silver paint (the hardest to maintain, because the paint is basically clear-coat and metal; not much to hold it together). The protectant they put on should last almost a year. I'd give it 6 stars, but they missed some of the interior (seats were not cleaned in the back, and the rear window of the wagon was not cleaned). But all in all, a great job! I have already recommened them to a friend. read more

I'll admit, as a minivan driver, keeping the van up to par isn't high on my priorities. That all changed when a large bowl of cereal and milk spilled in the cloth passenger seat. Life came to a grinding halt. I did not want sour milk in the van! I called Eco and spoke with Nolan. He was honest in telling me up front that they use steam cleaning and my van would require a hot water shampoo. He gave me a referral. The referral was booked and must have called Nolan back because he called me minutes later to FOLLOW UP with me!! Seriously? Where do you get service like that?? He gave me another referral and I was able to get my gross milk mess cleaned. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because I didn't feel qualified to give them 5 having never actually used their service. I would give their customer service 6 stars! EcoDetail is just plain awesome. My husband and I brought our 2 trucks to Nolan after purchasing an auto detail groupon. We couldnt believe how good they both looked, inside and out. Nolan recommended the OptiCoat sealant for the newer truck (white tacoma 2008) and now it looks brand spanking new. We decided to give it a try on the older truck (black tundra 2000) just hoping it would make the paint look a bit better and man are we blown away. The OptiCoat sealant has made that 14 year old paint look almost new again, it's glossy black and swirl-free. It looks like a different truck altogether! Personal service comes no higher than this: 1. First car I took in was based on a Groupon. The care that Nolan, Matt & Shane lavished on that car (minivan, actually) made it look like Snoop Dogg's favorite Bentley when they were done. My kids still can't believe it's the same Toyota Sienna. 2. Second car was our relatively new VW GTI. Not only did it come out looking better than new (and I remember how it looked new, it was in January), but Shane found - and returned - a mighty expensive pen that had gotten lost in the passenger compartment. (Please don't ask how I can lose a pen in a GTI - I hear you saying "jeez, it's a hatchback, not a 787" - but it happened. I'd looked for it a number of times in the last month. But Shane found it.) Key points: these guys found this item, and rather than just pocketing it or some such sketchiness, they put it in the cup holder. Didn't even mention it to me, until I asked. So, bottom line. Very trustworthy, and very, very meticulous professionals work at this place. Get there now, before they blow up, have their own reality TV show, and you can't ever get an appointment. In our 2007 Camry we have been transporting grand children to school and other activities on an almost daily basis for several years. Being doting grand parents, we allowed the kids to have food in the back seat. Consequently, the back seat upholstery and flooring were trashed with grime and food stains. Vacuuming didn't touch it. We were embarrassed to have anyone sit back there. I requested a "Lux Interior" detailing, and frankly I didn't hold out much hope that anything could be done. I have a Black 2007 Cadillac Escalade that is the only thing I have that left from a messy divorce and I am trying to take care of it the best I can.
