The search results came up with iBeauty Eyebrows. I tried to call to make an appointment, but no answer. However, a text message immediately followed. Our communication and appointment was done entirely via text and very efficiently too, I must say. She was able to fit me in the next day early in the morning which worked out perfectly for me. She texted early in the morning to confirm my appointment (around 7 am and my appointment was at 8:35 am). Just a note on location, she is located inside Sola Salons which I later discovered is a well know chain of stores that houses a variety of skincare, spa, nail, hair and other self care professionals all under one roof. She is located in suite 23. I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment and she arrived promptly. I guess I was her first client. There's a little bench outside the suite. Randip is super personable and asked me questions about what I wanted before she began her work. She took pics of my face and studied it for a few minutes before making her recommendations. She also said she would do some threading and leave some room for adjustments if needed. Loved the way she did my eyebrows! She did exactly what she said, she did some and then asked me to assess. Then, I requested a bit more and then she made adjustments. I think this may have been the first time in a very long time, that I did not have to ask to have the remaining little eyebrow hairs to be plucked under the arches. A lot of pros in the past have not threaded close enough and have chopped the hairs a little too short and they've had to pluck what they couldn't thread. Not sure if prices have gone up in the industry, due to the pandemic and other factors, but it was $20 for the service. I have been used to paying anywhere from $13-15, but that was also over a year ago and prices for just about everything has changed. Worth every penny! My appointment was with Amber, she was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I enjoyed my appointment Amber and I talked about skincare and she gave me some tips to help with a blemish on my cheeks. They also offer facials which I have an appointment booked for 5/16. I think this will be my go to spot! I recently received a HANdWRITTEn card from the owner which is a plus. I believe they are also expanding their suite. I can't wait to see what it looks like on my next visit.

There is plenty of parking even though its used by customers for neighboring businesses. You can follow this business on FaceBook or simply call if you want to be sure she's there prior to your arrival. Always kind and no matter how many people are waiting, she doesn't take shortcuts when sanitizing and preparing for the next patron. I've seen more males receiving brow threading in their quest to do away with their unibrow. Cash, credit and contactless pay methods are available. Make sure you get your punch card to work towards a discount on your 5th visit. There is also a hair stylist in the rear of the salon but it is separate from the threading services offered here. I drove from Newport News to Norfolk for a total of 1hr 20 mins. I confirmed my appointment a week before (I have email receipts) and called on the phone to speak to the business. (I didn't get a name, I assume it was Aisha, the owner.) After getting to the location 10 minutes early as instructed, Aisha answered none of my calls or texts. I even tried paging her studio from the intercom system outside the building. (I have receipts of this as well). Thirty minutes go by, and no texts or calls. I made my way back home with no eyebrow services and no refund. (Groupon doesn't allow a refund after a week of purchasing, and I purchased and scheduled this appointment way out. It's very uncommon for a business to ghost a customer without warning. I hope the owner is ok. I will wait to see if they reach out. *Update It's been one week, and no one has responded, but the business's Instagram is active. Aisha wasted my gas, money, and time, and I DO NOT recommend this business to anyone. There are better estheticians and local businesswomen out there you can support who will respect your time.
