Humble, funny, straightforward, dedicated to his craft, experienced, and a man I came to admire after listening to his life story. Now lets get down to business. What he did for my car. I have been planning on getting my 2010 Acura TSX detailed for over 5 years. To say it looked in desperate need of a detail is an understatement: the inside cabin was disgusting from my helping a friend with food deliveries. Spills in the carpet. Black marks on the plastic molding near the seats. Leather in need of conditioning. The clear coat had scratches everywhere. The car had not been waxed correctly since it was new. A recent problem with the alignment made me consider selling the car or trading it in. I stopped in to see Ed and explained my situation. Despite the fact that he had a two week backlog, despite the fact that he usally is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, he told me he would help me out and detail the car on the Saturday during the Memorial Day weekend. Are you kidding me? What business does that today? The car took way more time than he anticipated- it was that bad. He had to run the ionizer to make it smell fresh. It took over three hours just to do the inside! The outside took another three plus hours. To tell you the transformation was amazing does no justice to the job he did. Ed is a rock star of auto appearence! If this was an ad for weight loss the before photo would feature a very very large, out of shape human to a lean, mean, workout machine you cant believe is the same person. The pictures I am posting to accompany this review will give you an idea of the level of professionalism and excellence in what Ed achieved. His attention to detail was spectacular. So meticulous. The hand wax job was put to the test immediately the day he returned the car as it rained all day yet everything beaded up like a brand new automobile. The good news is, despite dings on both driver and passenger sides, the chip in the windshield, the cracked housing of the driver's rear view mirror, the spot where somone sideswiped my car, I recieved the best offer on trade I could have hoped for. I assure you this - if Ed had NOT done such an amazing job, I would have had to accept a much lower trade-in value. My good friend in the body and fender business was shocked that I recieved such a great offer and attributed it primarily to the job Ed did. In fact, when my co-worker saw the car, he asked for Ed's card so he could get HIS two cars detailed. I am now a raving fan of Allen's Auto Appearence. If he could make my car look like it looks NOW from how it looked the day I drove it in, he could work miracles on your car, truck or boat. I vote - Five stars - as good as it gets!

Scheduling on their site was a breeze, and they spent 4 nonstop hours cleaning every crevice of my car. I hadn't had a car detail in probably a year, and between my 2 year old, and our trips to & from the shore all summer, it was in desperate need. The guys got to every problem area and then some. I recommend Attention to Detail, hands down and will be making it a bi-yearly (at least) occasion to have them detail my car!

They were able to remove all the dog hair from our 3 labs, which I did not believe was possible! My used car never looked so new--even when I first bought it. The attention to detail truly earns them the right to their name and all 5 stars! Will definitely book a refresh after the winter weather is behind us. Worth every penny!

I took off one star because a) they pressed enough buttons to change my GPS system to Spanish and changing it to English was a complete pain and b) they took everything ... I'll definitely go back ... I'll just ask them to not press buttons or pack up those areas.

This is a smaller detail shop so they may not pick up the first time you call but I would highly suggest you keep calling and or drive over and talk to Bob. Can't say enough good things- pricing is solid as well. Detailing is not cheap- the results are amazing so there services are worth the money!!

It pains me when a business deserves one star. Just my personal experience…read more Very unfortunate, I went there for my first time and last. The good is that it is extremely powerful carwash, the bad it ripped off the siding in 3 of the door handles; the ugly they told me "due to prior damage they will not compensate in any way the damage". I know there was zero damage bc I just had the car detailed and missing the handle siding, which is quite noticeable. Lies are not an ethical way of doing business. Anyway, we have a "he said" from each side. I have the choice of going to my regular car wash (Sundance Car wash, that had never ripped off any siding), and they will continue fine with their clientele. Lesson learned, very unfortunate how their management decided to close the claim. BTW I asked for proof of the "prior damage per their cameras"...pending to be sent to me. I purchased their highest price carwash...wish I had never gone in. Damage is not huge, but the response of the business makes it untrustworthy.

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the service I have gotten there on the 2 occasions I have been there in the past 3 months. Took both our cars and they went above and beyond cleaning both vehicles inside and out. My minivan hadn't been washed in a LONG TIME plus I park under trees. They put car through twice and spent extra time spraying it off by hand prior to auto wash . I am really surprised to see how low their rating is because I know other people who use them too. I've never heard anything but positive things.

I recently took my car to Certified Recon for detailing and I must say that I was very pleased with…read morethe job they did. However...when I returned to pick up my car the driver's side mirror was turned outward. I thought I could simply snap it back into place and that seemed to work...bad idea. The next time I got into my car I pushed the button to turn the mirrors back to the correct position and the mirror fell off. In retrospect I should have brought it to their attention before leaving but it seemed O.K. when I drove away. When I returned the next day they denied it was their fault. They suggested it happened after I left...less than 24 hours ago. Coincidence? I don't think so. They had a gentleman from the auto body shop next door look at it and he said it had been that way for a long time...despite the fact that the detailer acknowledged it was not that way when it came in. They made me feel like a scammer...someone who was trying to perpetrate a fraud. I was more than offended. They offered to have the auto body shop repair it at their cost. Given his statement about my mirror being broken for a long time...I didn't want that guy to touch my car. I decided to decline their offer and I took my BMW to the dealer instead. This turned out to be the most expensive detail job I ever received. I won't be going back. This is a cautionary tale...make sure EVERYTHING on your car works the same way it did when you took it in. Otherwise they will deny responsibility. One more thing...I asked the person on the telephone if someone could pick up my car as they say they will on their website. She said it would depend on whether the owners were there...they weren't. Don't offer something that is conditional unless it is stated on the site. In addition to paying to have my mirror replaced I paid the cost to have an Uber return me to pick up my car.
