She helped me pick the color out and gave me her input without being pushy at all which I really appreciated. I walked in with some man hands and left feeling like a princess. Jessica took her time cleaning my cuticles and really took care of me. I love when you can tell that the person loves what they do and that HER Lacquer has an extremely friendly staff who is very talented and they take pride in their salon. I left in love with my nails again. I wish I had photos from day one, but the video below shows how long they last and how great they look two weeks later. Julie left a terrible taste and I havent revisited since. I showed her a few inspo pics, instead of saying she couldn't replicate it- she did a horrible job. I told her I didnt like it. All she said was, "Im sorry you don't like them Michelle." It was a sloppy job. I was her last client for the day, I guess she really wanted to go home... the least she could've said was to fix it up the next visit. I was excited for the nails since I was flying to Vegas. The nail polish was very thick, uneven- bumps you can see from streaky polish, you can see the polish on my skin. I was very embarrassed and insecure so I had to get them redone once I landed. Really disappointed with my last and final visit. I liked my nails done by a different tech, the picture with the burgundy and gold nails prior but with my last appt with Julie, the owner - it's a no go for me. I had received gel X and supposedly I didn't realize that there were gaps in between my nail and the false nail. The day after I sent in the last review, the manager reached out to me with a full refund. As my nurse told me, "it is safe to say, always make sure your false nails are COMPLETELY sealed since that was the reason for the fungus growing underneath my nail." Unfortunately, I can not receive new nails for sometime. I truly hope this will not happen to anyone else, Instyle Nail Spa, "please take this into consideration." It was 5:30 and they close at 7. Then another lady rushed around sweeping the floor and making us all lift our legs- couldn't that have waited until close or when I was no longer sitting there? Then when I went to wash my hands, the sweeping lady stood behind me impatiently and made me feel super uncomfortable. Finally the owner or manager loudly was talking with the guy doing my nails for 5 minutes straight and kept staring at my nails and I just got this feeling she was talking shirt about me or something. Which makes no sense- I am polite, friendly, pay without any issues, and tip very well. I am also loyal to places I like and will continue going back to places for years if I am happy, as well as refer others. At any rate, I just felt like they didn't want me there, so I will give them what they want and not return. Very strange way to run a business.
