Outside of the RV was nice & clean

Thank you Luv 2 camp for a great experience. The Rv was perfect for my family of 5. It was nice & clean, everything worked. The booking process was flawless. From the moment of requesting a quote online, communication with the office, securing our rental, to arriving to the campsite, and having the trailer already there setup & ready for use. We even had a visit from Jeff two days later, he was in the area and stopped to see if everything was going good with the RV, which it was. We appreciated the visit. We will definitely be renting from them again.

We rented a trailer from Luv2Camp last week from Wednesday to Sunday at South Carlsbad State Beach. We had previously planned to rent from them last December but due to Covid restrictions we needed to reschedule. Krystal was so nice in assisting us with getting new dates. The process was very easy as they deliver the trailer and generator as well as pick it up and all you need to do is show up! The trailer was also terrific with a full bed as well as 3 bunk beds which accommodated us and our 3 boys. We also have friends that have been renting from them for a few years with great experiences as well. Can't say enough great things and we 100% will be using them again in the near future.

These folks have changed the way that we do camping forever! This was our first time camping in a trailer, after 10 years of tent camping in San Clemente, and it could not have been a better experience. First of all, the people that booked our time were really helpful and got me a trailer even though we weren't able to book until really late. Throughout the whole process they answered emails quickly and relieved a lot of anxiety about the dropoff and pickup of the trailer. They answered text messages immediately when I had questions on that day, even though it was a Sunday. And the trailer... spotless and really new feeling. It was like stepping into a brand new trailer. I think the mini kitchen sink faucet was nicer than the one I have at home! I learned that the outlets only work with the generator on, but even with the generator off the USB charging ports still worked. But the main reason for the trailer was the bathroom, and that was really clean and, although it was small due to the fact that you're in a trailer, it wasn't too small, just perfect. I am definitely using Luv 2 Camp every year, really professional and just nice people all around.

Terrible. Please read the attached screen shots of my conversation with the owner. And now that I've read more reviews- which somehow I missed when initially researching a trailer rental-I see I'm not alone. It's a lot of money to be treated this way.

First and last time we rent from luv 2 camp, I'll let the pictures show you why I'm posting this negative review.

I just rented a trailer this past weekend from Luv2Camp for South Carlsbad State Beach. The experience was amazing from start to finish. Krystal was awesome at answering questions and making the reservation/contract portion so easy. She definitely knows what customer service is all about. The morning of the delivery, I got the text with the delivery window and Jeff was actually right behind us with the trailer as we were checking in at the park. The trailer was spacious and beautiful and was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils. Luv2camp made camping a breeze and I have already highly recommended them to friends and family. I will definitely use Luv2camp again.

We own a travel trailer and a 5th wheel, but our tow vehicle was out of commission. Despite this setback, we had a camping trip planned with a few other families. We reached out to JaeBug Trailer Rentals and received a response immediately. Booking was super easy; they were incredibly accommodating, especially since we had many moving parts and I can be a bit high-maintenance when coordinating these types of things with other families. We rented the 36' Genesis Supreme toy hauler, which was in pristine condition! Even though we brought everything from our travel trailer, they provided all the necessities and even had the beds made up. It literally came with everything you would need as a starting point. Where we were camping, it was HOT (high 90s to the 100s) during the day, and the A/C was amazing! The "master" bedroom had a REAL mattress; it was so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of bed. Not only was the trailer itself fantastic, but the customer service was also exceptional. The team at JaeBug Trailer Rentals was always available to answer any questions and went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect trip. They even provided thoughtful touches like extra blankets and kitchen supplies, making us feel right at home. The process was so easy, I'm seriously considering never taking our trailers out again, selling them, and just using JaeBug Trailer Rentals for all our future trips. Their prices are reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the units and the outstanding service. I can't wait to rent from them again, even though we have our own trailers. Thank you, JaeBug Trailer Rentals, for making our trip unforgettable!

They were kind enough to throw new tires on it as I found they were expired, and Terry once again promised no roof leaks because "they know how to check." She also kept complaining about how filthy the van was and how much she had to clean, which I found a bit unsettling. When I asked if I could climb up on a tall ladder to check the roof, that question was dodged. Despite the vibe feeling "off," I took the risk and signed the papers. (A week later once home I had to nag them to get the title mailed). The first leg of the drive was pleasant, except for when the black tank began to stink after going down the road for a bit despite the fact we did not use it. The tank was not flushed out prior to the sale, and we made a pit stop to get the cleaning chemicals needed and flushed it out at an RV dump site. We also found the fridge portion of the fridge/freezer doesn't work, and house heater works intermittently. The touchscreen stereo was so brittle that it cracked, but that happens with older units. The real issue started when we hit rain and the floodgates in the roof opened up. Water spilled down the sides into the cabinets and around the edges of the vents. I was met with a rude reply of "are you sure you didn't hit anything?" when I sent photos of the water coming in. Once home and in the shop we were able to uncover the damage, several years worth of rust and huge holes around every seam, PLUS preexisting damage from the prior owner hitting something on the driver's side, with large amounts of rust covered up with tape. It even seemed as though the last company to seal it was told to purposely cover all the damage (and very poorly). Now we have thousands of dollars worth of damage to repair. We are tasked with replacing the roof and resealing everything, and so far I've been treated with total disrespect by Jeff, who didn't even bother to meet us there in person for the sale. Totally shady deal. BUYERS BEWARE.
