Nice place just to browse Chinese decors, knick knacks, clothes, snacks and condiments. I bought some nice pens and a beautiful silk scarf. Prices are reasonable. I happen to chance on their little art exhibit at the back. The Red Envelop show for Lunar New Year. Very interesting. Over all, i like this place, feels like it instantly transports me to China with out leaving NYc.

I still remember Pearl River in the early 2000s. Two full floors and the go to spot for anything and everything Chinese: snacks, dry goods, stationery, art supplies, home goods. Walking in felt like stepping into a small piece of China right in NYC. It felt layered, authentic, and full of discovery. Fast forward a few years and Pearl River moved to Broadway in SoHo. It was still two floors, more spacious, and if I remember correctly, it had an entrance on Broadway and another toward the back (I can't recall the exact cross street). Even through its moves, it retained that sense of depth and cultural immersion. I recently stopped by the current SoHo location. It's now just one floor. The layout is open and well organized, but noticeably smaller in scope. They carry a mix of items: a small selection of blind boxes, modernized gift items, Chinese art and figurines, cupware and fine plateware, a modest kitchenware section toward the back, a small apparel and footwear area, and a reduced stationery section. A small book section with more small figurines. They also carry a small but thoughtful selection of loose leaf teas, snacks, and pantry staples. It's still cute. The prices are reasonable. There are definitely thoughtful and modern touches. But if I'm being honest, it feels different. More condensed. More curated. Slightly Americanized. And maybe that's just nostalgia talking. I experienced what Pearl River once was, and that version was special. It's not bad. It's just not the Pearl River I remember.

While not a Judaica shop, I took a chance on stopping by while in the neighborhood for an appt nearby. They are BEAUTIFUL inside, and have an old fashioned, knowledgeable awareness of all things jewelry. I never expected to find what I had been looking for but also did way better than if I'd gone on Etsy, or even to Tiffany, or other regular jewelry store. In general their collections of all types of jewelry is amazing and very thorough and of quality in all categories. This happens to include a dedicated section for gold and silver religious pieces. I was looking for a gold Star of David and a gold chain too for it. They were very nice, helpful, and knowledgable about the gold and very reasonable. They even marked the weight of the pieces I purchased and gave me a very well made box for it. I highly recommend this place for anything one might be looking for and very much will be back again to purchase more pieces I might be looking for.

I've emailed a couple of times to the support team. they told me the item had a "small snag and was being sent off to be fixed" and sent off in the next day or so. It seems that a store/ company that has 4 stores and a website should be more responsive to their customers. how sad. $ 144. wasted

This review is solely for the absolutely ridiculous way this store is run. We approached on an…read moreearly Sunday evening and there were barely any people in the store, yet there was a line outside. As a rule I will under no circumstance wait on a line to get into a clothing shop but we had some time to kill before our dinner reservation. The wait wasn't so bad (maybe 10 minutes or so) but there was only a small handful of people ahead of us. Once you get to the front of the line you scan a QR code, enter your information and use the code to scan the tags of the clothing to choose your size and "add to dressing room." It's a cool concept, as having to chase down a sale's associate to find your size can be frustrating, but this was executed quite poorly. I selected a few items to try on and it was taking well over 10-15 minutes for my dressing room to be "ready." I knew there were already a few items in the room and it would have been great if I could have gone in to get started. Apparently the "system" didn't allow that? So I waited, waited, waited and ended up leaving without being able to try on a single article of clothing due to our reservation getting close. They definitely missed out on a sale! There are better ways to market your business than force people to wait online to enter a mid-range store. Unless the fire marshal says you're at capacity there is no reason to force people to wait outside...calm down. The sales associates were sweet and the store itself is pretty but I will never come back to this location. Completely idiotic.

Forget the fact that they are upcharging in a ridiculous way only late stage capitalism could allow for, but they have about 6 racks of sample sizes (most of which were dirty/wrinkly) and you have to use your phone to scan the tag to see if they have the item in stock and if by some grace of god they have it you then create a virtual bag. At some random point a worker will yell your name and summon you to the dressing room aka a closet (best part of the store). The workers yelled at my friend and told her to stay in her "closet" when she came out to show me her sweater... so on top of being a frustrating process they're also anti fun. I ended up getting a 400 dollar shitty dress out of necessity and the checkout was just on the guys phone and he haphazardly put my 400 dollar dress in a tote bag like it was nothing. Reformation is trying to give luxury but it's giving full blown SCAM. Clothes are forever 21 quality with a different name. I will never shop here again, if I want luxury I can think of 10 other stores with either cheaper pricing or the same but who have at least made the shopping experience feel worth it. I've never written a yelp review but this is actually the worst experience I've ever had shopping.

I have always been enamored with rhinestone hair clips, barrette clips, headbands, ponytail holders and scrunchies. I have a lot of hair accessories in tin boxes, jewelry box and cosmetic bag. This business is also known aba D & P Momo Inc. It is becoming harder and harder to find and attain a women's accessory shop since Claire's is becoming less of a presence and their stock and inventory has significantly changed to become less of a women's accessory shop with stupid animated plush toys, fancy water bottles, backpacks, hats, and scarves. Momo Accessories is fully stocked with rhinestone hair clips, barrette clips, jewelry, ponytail holders, earrings, hats, and ankle chains. The business owner surely used every inch of retail space to place products as I was browsing the racks/shelves in hopes for a set of simple rhinestone hair clips and bumping into another customer. I am extremely elated that my ears are NOT pierced. Not my style. Not for everyone. To each their own. Yes, I am a girly girl at heart and no one can remove this from within me. I purchased two matching rhinestone ponytail holders to fix my hair in two pigtails coordinating my clothes. Price is very reasonable as it was $1.99 each for clearance sale. Customer service is attentive as I was provided with a small tray as a shopping basket which makes sense due to their product size. The sales receipt states "D&P Momo Inc." My hope is still unfulfilled with a long standing void to seek and attain one set of simple single circle rhinestone hair clips to hold my very thick hair.
