I was in Lush yesterday (Mother's Day 2026) with my daughter one of our must go to stores when we visit the Roseville Galleria. Inside they had a station you could get a free hand/arm massage which I decided to partake in, and I must say Heidi did a phenomenal job!! So many mixed feelings on this location. You've got the super sweet workers who are excited to talk about lush. Ronee (sp?) is especially amazing. I gave her a major rave to customer service Said she's like one thousand out of ten. She's the reason for all the stars. She was incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable, attentive and sweet. And then the weird stingy vibe that I feel has crept into the corporation as a whole. I had a really bad experience a couple years ago where they decided to be really mean girl to us after having a lovely experience that same visit with the same person possibly because my daughter joined me? It was really weird and it really hurt her feelings as well. Ended up making my other daughter who just had major back surgery wait in pain for a sample they offered only to weirdly ignore us (like pointedly not respond and glare) when simply checking in to see if they had the sample. I was super friendly, so there was no weirdness on my part or my girls for that matter (they're very quiet and sweet). Maybe it wasn't even about me, who knows. Didn't even care about the sample. Would have been fine if she said she was too busy. When I reached out to corporate they said the manager would get back to me. They never did, which kept me away. I used to try and shop in store over online for their benefit. Oh well. Anyway, I decided to come back for the boxing sale. Had a lovely experience (see above about Ronee). Then the girl who checked me out assured me that all my items were ringing up as half off and that I got my $20 off for the pots. Was walking out the store and lo and behold none of that was true. Luckily caught it before going home. Had to wait over 15 minutes for someone (manager?) to fix everything on a handheld device, then be told I can't combine the pots credit with boxing sale sales. The person did say sorry, but really was that friendly or warm. When I found something I could use my $20 credit on it was mislabeled, so I asked , since it's been a whole ordeal can you just do me a solid and honor that price. She said no. Fine. But didn't do anything to try and make up for the huge hassle and incompetence. Not even a free sample or a 10% off your next purchase. The dichotomy of experiences within this one store in a single visit and sometimes with the same person is so weird. I'm really confused on the vibe they're going for. Silly, considering how much business they've lost by being so unfriendly and it seems like the negativity is coming from the top. read more

I stopped into LUSH at the Galleria today looking for a little something to help with my dry skin, and I just have to say how lovely Christa was. It's not often these days that you come across someone so genuinely kind and patient. She took the time to explain a few products to me without making me feel rushed or pressured, and she was just an absolute sweetheart from start to finish. You can tell she truly enjoys helping people and takes pride in her work. I left the store smiling and feeling much more confident about what I purchased. Walked in looking for massage bars, was directed by Aaron who went over all the different options. Found two massage bars: sleep and muscle relaxing bars that I bought with metal tins for $43. Aaron was amazing and helped answer all my questions to help me get in and out within 5 minutes. The inside is calm, well decorated, and smells great. Only issue is they were out of a few of the massage bars and only had samples so they would need better inventory in the future. read more

Love this store and now that my girls are getting older, they love it too! The bath bombs all smell amazing and it feels good knowing there are no harsh ingredients in anything. All the employees are always so helpful, but not overbearing. My absolute favorite tried-and-true product here is the DREAM cream. I have super sensitive skin, and my youngest has had eczema since infancy, I don't know what kind of amazingness is in that cream but it lives up to its name. I used it on my youngest when she a little baby and it always did the trick. Also my daughter just had her 9th birthday party here, and it was a huge hit! All of her friends are still talking about how much fun they had. We had it on a Sunday morning before the store opened, and it was totally worth getting up early. For the price it was definitely worth every penny and then some! Tayler and Itzy were our party people and they were great keeping the girls entertained, and we're so patient at the same time. I walked into this confusing store that puts any man in the......I have no idea what any of this stuff is mode real fast and got a valentines present for my wife with no problems at all. I started to look at the bath bombs because that seemed like an easy way to go and a customer service rep walked right over and noticed I needed help. I explained to her what I was wanting and they had a perfect premade box all made for us men that have no clue what most of this is that I am smelling. It was reasonably priced in my mind, and I bought a few more things. My wife was super happy and had fun trying everything out. Lush even gave us a few samples to get my wife addicted and I think it worked. I am sure she or I will be back soon. I went on a little weekend getaway to Sacramento. I had a Company Christmas Party and just decided to make it a whole weekend kind of thing. Sunday I decided to check out the mall. The place was huge, but I really only had one store in mind. LUSH!!! I've been dying to go here for months and finally got the opportunity to do so! They sell handmade cosmetics. Any thing from bath bombs, to lip balm, to tooth paste tablets. They did bath bomb and shower bomb demonstrations and they let you get involved. The staff was amazing and so was the store. They say you need to get samples in order to smell it BUT the women working there scampered away every time I tried to indicate I wanted a sample. Literally so not helpful. I love this store. My favourite thing at the moment is the shampoo bars. They're vegan, they travel well and they aren't wrapped in plastic. I came to this store today specifically for the shampoo bars, but of course I stayed to sniff all of the other amazing products they have. I ended up also purchasing a face wash that smells divine. The people working were helpful, but not pushy. I think that type of customer service is the best. They greeted me when I walked in, pointed me to what I was looking for and answered my questions then gave me space to shop. I walked in ready to drop a bunch of money on an Instagram obsession. Surprise - they aren't AS costly as I thought they would be. Are they cheap? Absolutely not. Are they worth it? Absolutely! #doingitforthegram I was in the mall for another store and saw their sign glowing in the distance. A visual of bath bomb videos overcame me and I ran towards the sign - like a moth to a flame. Once inside I was overwhelmed. Sensory overload from the assorted scents and colors and shapes and sizes. There were 3 employees working and they all offered up help at one time or another but were not overbearing. Their day was coming to an end quickly (less than 15 minutes before they closed) but they were extremely polite and I never felt rushed. They helped me choose between a few of the bombs and I felt with three different ones - two bath bombs and one bubble bath! I'm sure I will back in the future to try a new bath bomb variety! read more

Alright so I used to go to Lush alllllll the time before COVID hit, well I went in with my sister and myself, (both completely masked) by the way... the girl at the door told my sister that she had to wear TWO masks because she didn't trust hers... she was wearing a masks with a filter and TWO inserts.. yet the woman insisted she wore two VERY rudely because she didn't "trust" hers. Meanwhile this girl pulled out a mask from the box touching allll over it without sanitizing. She then proceeded to stare at us the entire time we looked around to the point where we left with nothing. I can understand caring about keeping others safe as I am the same exact way, but maybe don't project your own annoyed attitude onto other strangers because YOU have to work in a pandemic. If you want to care about real issues maybe care about systematic racism. read more

Pretty disappointed in Lush employees... The store is wonderful. Soaps, bath bombs, moisturizers and more! What a wonderful store if you need to find a way to relax. This time of year, they have box sets ready to put under the tree, with bath bombs and more! Black Friday was my 2nd time here and an employee approached me asking if I was interested in the body scrubs she was standing next to. I said sure. I was excited because I love body scrubs! These had seaweed in them, oils, light fragrances... I wanted to try them all! For starters, this employee asked me if I had sensitive skin and if I was allergic to anything. Almonds. She said ok, and veered me away from 2 of the scrubs. She went through all the scrubs telling me about them and we picked one out together. After telling me all about the scrub, and using it on me, she misted me with a mineral water of some sort, and grabbed a moisturizer bar and began rubbing it all over the top n bottom of my forearm. Even she was done, I asked her what that was. I don't remember the name, but ingredients? Almond. And she said it ever so casually. I looked at her and said, are you serious? Walked out. Went to go scrub my arm so I didn't have an allergic reaction.. Broke out in hives. I might come back. The store seems cute, bath bombs are wonderful. I'll stay away from anything else in that store. So, I have to update my review because I'm always finding new sales associates that go above and beyond. This is STILL my favorite Lush, years later. I've been to Lush locations all over California, and I've even been to a Canadian Lush in Victoria, BC, but this is still the best Lush. Why? They hand pick the best of the best as far as sales associates go. Well, no they hand pick the best of the best ingredients too, duh. Anyway, Jess from Australia is a new associate, and my new favorite. Not only did she recommend new awesome products, but she recommended an amazing business to me that turned out really well. I really enjoy sales people that treat you like a person, like a friend, and take what you say seriously. She totally didn't have to help me out with something unrelated to Lush, but she did anyway. She took my concern, and addressed it. I just love this store. They aren't aggressive about selling, instead, their concern is helping to make your day a little better. This is one of my favorite stores...EVER! Lush's line of bath luxuries are great for your body but more importantly, it is great on the environment. Their products do not use palm oil and they support eco and human rights campaigns (with the Charity Pot). The soaps are definitely pricey but if you can afford it, you will not be disappointed. The staff is super friendly and offer demonstrations for all of their products. If you have younger kids, it might be fun to stop on in and watch them do a demo for a bubble bath or rinse. My geeky self has flashbacks to field trips to the interactive science museums of old. The bath bombs are great (if you have a quality tub) but the shower bombs won't blow your mind. The soaps are a must- I have an obsession with Ice Blue- it wakes me up in the morning and leaves my skin minty fresh :D The Bohemian bar is like a citrus slap to the face (in the best way imaginable) and Porridge scrubs all your bits clean. Happiest place on Earth is no longer in Anaheim but further North in the bustling commercial hamlet of Roseville. read more

After seeing all the amazing Yelp reviews for Lush, I decided to come in over the weekend for a little pampering. And guess what? I had the BEST time! I have been looking for a good all natural cosmetic company that doesn't harm the environment or animals, and genuinely cares about their carbon footprint. I thought I found that at The Body Shop, but was proven wrong. I think I have found the next best thing here. Lush is vehemently against animal testing and really cares what goes into their products. I was disappointed to see artificial colors in some of their products, but I guess depending on what you pick, this too can be avoided. There was 5+ associates working in the tiny store on the weekend I went, and they were all very friendly and helpful! Every time I asked a question (and believe me, I asked a LOT) the associates were all very patient with me and explained every product in great detail. I was impressed with all their product knowledge! A+ Because of this, I spent $60+ and came home with 7 items and a free sample. Here's the loot: - FUN Soap in Yellow. It's a soap, shampoo or bubble bath that can be molded and and smells like Play-Doh and Vanilla! So fun! - Bubble Bar in The Comforter. Super cute and smells like CANDY! Pieces can be broken off and used in the shower, or in the tub to make loads of bubbles! - Bar Soap in Porridge. I didn't think I would like this one, but I couldn't get enough of the smell! It's like breakfast in a bar... Oatmeal and orange juice! - Massage Bar in Soft Coeur. My favorite find! Smells SO good... Like butter and chocolate! Also actually melts on your skin to act as a solid moisturizer. Lovely! - Shower Jelly in Sweetie Pie. A shower gel in a jar! Can be frozen and used in the shower, or pinch off a piece and used as is. Smells like candy! - Shampoo Bar in Seanik. Another one of my favorite finds! Solid shampoo that you run through your hair and it makes a wonderful lather and smell! This one smells like the sea and lasts 60-90 washes! Amazing. - Dry Shampoo in No Drought. A corn and talc dry shampoo that smells like citrus! Works much better than anything I have picked up at the drugstore, more basic too! Unfortunately it was a busy weekend, and they were all out of their fresh face masks so I will have to come back on Thursday to pick one up! They get new shipments every Thursday, and usually sell out before the week is over! The only bad thing I can say is that now I want to take showers 5 times a day just to use all my nice smelling things! read more

Ah, I love this store. Their products are a bit pricey, but they're worth it if you can swing it. I disagree with those Yelpers that say they are affordable products. The average for a bath bomb is $6-7...kind of steep for a ball of salt. Anyway, everything is natural, no animal testing, smells amazing, and actually performs as advertised (this is not always the case for products with all natural ingredients, unfortunately). I love their solid shampoos, scrubs (Ocean Salt is AMAZING), and soaps. If you are new to Lush, I recommend their "Little Green Bag" which is a great sampler. Why not 5 stars? Their staff is helpful and friendly, but also overwhelming. I'm at the point where I'm a regular and know exactly what I want, but they always seem to follow me and ask a barrage of questions the ENTIRE time I'm in the store. Just make sure you mentally prepare for that before you walk in and you'll be fine (really). read more

Lush is one of my favorite stores. However on my last visit the customer service me and my friend recieved was awful. Due to Covid we aren't allowed to open or try products so we were told we could get samples. Me and my friend asked for our samples and while we're waiting we overhear the two ladies making pur samples complaining that people ask for samples. We don't have a choice during the pandemic because we can't try product in store and we aren't going to spend 40 dollars on a product we don't even know if we like. I prefer the Arden location. Samples are never a problem and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I won't be returning to the Roseville location. It's hard enough waiting in line with two infants trying to go into your favorite store and getting treated like trash when you get in. I'd give this location a negative start if I could. read more
