My partner and I are in NYC this week and my goal is to visit every Lush shop in this city. Yesterday, we visited Lush on the Upper East Side at 783 Lexington Ave. I was there for the Tangled Hair treatment at the Lush spa. (It was my first Lush spa treatment!) The staff on the sales floor checked me in for my service and showed me the items from the Wicked collab which dropped that day. They were all so friendly and helpful. The Tangled Hair treatment is a rejuvenating Japanese-inspired scalp experience. This treatment costs $60 and lasts 25 minutes. I was greeted by Melissa, one of the therapists, who walked me through the treatment during the consultation. She was amazing from start to finish. We entered the treatment room, which was bathed in soft, blue light. Melissa instructed me to take off my shoes (and anything else I wanted to remove by choice) and make myself comfortable. She left the room while I got comfortable and directed me to ring a bell as soon as I was ready. The music in the room featured a soothing bamboo flute, was created by Lush's creative music director, something Melissa told me about before the treatment. The relaxation I felt during the treatment was next level! Melissa expertly released all the tension in my head, face, neck and shoulders, hitting every pressure point perfectly. The massage was so calming that I could've fallen asleep. ...That is, until the cold stones were introduced at the end of the treatment. This was so refreshing and actually helped kick the migraine I walked in with. I left the spa feeling de-stressed, renewed and energized, as if I'd just woken up from a power nap. I loved the Tangled Hair treatment and would recommend it to anyone.

I tried their new tangled hair and snow fairy bath upstairs in their spa area and it was awesome! First of all when you walk in the store you are greeted with amazing scents and customer service. The hardest part is choosing what to buy. They have bath bombs in all beautiful colors, shapes and scents but they also have skincare, body glitter and a whole lot more. The tangled experience is like a head massage and the bath you get a private bath area in a very beautiful ambiance with a ton of Lush products. Afterwards you have a warm cup of hot chocolate and some cupcakes. Enjoy!

LOVE this location! They have everything. Spacious, clean and fun layout. Morgan was super sweet, helpful and made some great recommendations. Kate at the register had great energy & made checkout a breeze, she was also patient with me as I went back to pick up a few more items. Will definitely be returning to this location!

Sad news :( The Lush spa in NYC and Philly will be closing April 2018. I contacted Lush USA and was told they are planning on creating a Lush spa in Canada. I guess I have an excuse to travel up north!

    Spoiler Alert

I love this place!!! Kindness, skincare, self care, remember that you deserve good things!

If you have not visited LUSH YOU NEED TO GO ASAP!!!! Products are fresh and all made natural and by hand! They even have a picture of the persons head who made you're product on the bottle. The manger at this store is the BOMB! Her name is cheyene (I probably spelled that wrong) but if you ever have any problems she is there to make sure its fixed. The staff is super competent as to what there selling. There is this woman named Elouise (pronounced elllaaaweeezeee) She is fantastic!! FANTASTIC!! Whatever you need she will find exactly what you're looking for. She helped me the two times I've been there and I can not stress how great she is. Lastly here some important thing you might want to know about this place: 1.This location has a spa! Ive never went but it sounds amazing. 2. When you purchase ANY product you can ask to sample anything int he store and they put it in little containers. I think its great because, sometimes you are overwhelmed and you cant really see if you like a product... with the sample you can sample lets say 3 different face creams in a container take them home and see which one you want to buy. 3. Lots of meter parking. 4. Fresh face masks! 5. You can walk in and be like I want this "thing to like clean my face" they will show you three or more options, all you need to do is go in with a slight idea of what you are looking for and let the lush associate magicians guide you. 6. Animal CRUELTY FREE. !!! My favorite things to buy at lush: Sea salt scrub(amazing), Dream cream(face cream), The soap bars are next level some are great for exfoliation others are creamy and have raisins inside, yes raisins. If you want to get sensual they have bath bombs for days from flower explosions to glitter water. GET YOU'RE LUSH ON ASAP! Prices are not cheap but quality is brought to the next level.

After our Hard Days night treatment this was waiting for us

Conveniently located by the B/D/F/M/Q/N/R/W trains right across the street. They sell the trendiest Korean makeup and skincare products. If you ever happen to see your favorite kpop idol promoting one of these brands, then I think there's a very high chance of seeing that brand's products being sold inside H Art. There're Q tips and disposable cotton rounds for you to swatch their products on your hands/face/lips. Located 2 short flights up, towards the back, you'll find yourself in a cozy K beauty shop offering a good size collection of products, from skin care to beauty items. It's organized and displays are clean - aesthetically pleasing! I finally bought the "Beauty of Joseon" to try... the sunscreen that was flooding my insta feed... like non-stop. (Good social team strategy I guess). I like how they let you browse w/o any intense sales pitch. That's a win for me I have a feeling it would get quite crowded if you go during peak times w the lunch crowd... so be aware; small shop. I hope they expand their product selection and can't wait to visit again!

Since then, my money has been in dispute because: The company does not respond to emails. They only send automated messages saying someone will get in touch with me, but no one ever does. Meanwhile, MELIO claims that they already sent the money to the seller and is now asking me to either pay again or provide my card number so they can try to charge me again. Absolutely not!
