It's been probably a year since I have been, but better to review late than never. It wasn't the worst nail salon I had been to, but there are better ones in San Marcos within the same price range. My nails were a little crooked here and there, I pointed it out to the nail tech and it didn't seem to matter. It wasn't horrible, but my nails didn't last for more than a week and that's why I haven't gone back. My friend took me to get a manicure and pedicure for my birthday. From the beginning they were very clearly rushing because there were only maybe four people working. My pedicure was by far the worst one I have had she didn't even touch my heel. My gel nail polish on my toes was messily done. She very quickly filed my toenails and never cut them down or asked. She didn't speak to me. When the second girl started my nails I asked if she could do the picture I showed and she said "yes I can do it" I asked if my nails were long enough and she said oh yeah! This is how they turned out. She didn't give me a manicure she pulled out nippers from her pocket and touches maybe two fingers. They did my nails at the pedicure chair so most of them are crooked. I've been here several times for pedicures and have always had a good experience, but today was one of the best experiences. They are always so nice and I've never had to wait to get seated. I also like the massage chairs. I went on a Saturday around 5:30 and it was slow. I decided to get a natural manicure at the same time as the pedicure. The man who did the pedicure was very thorough double checking that he didn't miss anything and checking with me that I was happy with the temperature of everything, the cut, the polish, etc. Best of all, he gave a really good leg and foot massage, and the hot stones with the signature pedicure felt great. I'd gone for a long run earlier in the day so the massage was awesome, though some people might not like as much pressure so just tell them if it hurts. The manager checked on me while my nails were drying to see if I liked the color, which I do. I sat there a long time to finish my wine and read my book. So when I left I just put my regular shoes on and she made sure to tell me that if the polish got messed up to come back. It didn't! read more

Service and nail design were underwhelmingly subpar for the price you pay. I got a lavender pedicure for $50, the massage was not impressive and I still have callus on my feet from the lack of scrubbing. The main lady who runs the shop did my nails, she had a poor attitude the entire time and over filed my nail tips. I asked for short, and they ended up being extra short. A full set acrylic with simple design was $75. I would not go back here and would not recommend. The first photo is a nail design I received and the second is what I wanted. And unfortunately, For as short as my nails are and the quality, which wasn't bad at all, there are a little tweaks, I personally don't feel that they were worth 55.. especially with the tip. I think this could reasonably be 35 at most or 30, the least. I went in today, however, and got a full set done I asked for Bailey, because she had done my eyebrows before and told me to come back when I needed my nails done. Had a few things I had to do in the area, but I had to wait a while, so I figured I would go get my nails done while I wait. I walked in & they told us to check in & got to us quickly, however, whoever was doing my grandmas nails had walked off & left 2 or 3 times & then another worker was coming & going. I came to grand opening and got a free pedicure. Vicki did my toes and even though I only got the basic, it was one of the best I've had. Do not come here, I read the reviews before coming but ultimately decided to take a chance on them. I shouldn't have. Me and my boyfriend both went in for pedicures. They did the more expensive package on him since he wanted to really focus on his calluses (which we weren't expecting to be perfect or anything since he should go to a professional to have it properly done, but again this was just a quick clean up), and I went to get a standard shellac. They finished his pretty quickly but it seemed like not much was done at all other than a nail trim and scrub. When it came to my package I tried explaining that I did want the same package as him and I wanted to standard and the communication barrier made the conversation a bit frustrating on both ends since we couldn't understand each other, and this wouldn't have been an issue but the frustration from my nail tech was coming across and rude and dismissive so I gave in and let them continue. Our nails came out fine and we left with no issues. Now three weeks after I've finally decided to remove the polish at home and right away a noticed a larger yellow white bump on the nail of my big toe, I didn't think much of it until after I filled my nails and the nail seemed brittle and almost infected. I ended up having to clip off a forth of my nail because it wasn't attached to my nail bed at all. My nail has gotten an infected and was completely dead. Now I'm not sure if this salon is to blame for what happened but I have never had this happen before at other salons in the area and now I'm unsure what to think. I am very cautious during COVID but feel safe and confident in Antibes. The staff is all masked, and they do a good job of sanitizing their stations between guests. They have lucite plates between the operators and the customers, and as always, do a wonderful job of manicures and pedicures. They use high quality dip powders and polishes. Did not like this place. Basically they acted like I was an interruption to their day. The guy who did my pedi seemed like it was a contest to see how fast he could do it. Little callous removal, rushed and hard massage for the gams, too. Charged a lot for so little service. I was as reluctant to give a tip as they were to even acknowledge my presence. No drinks offered and ZERO interaction with anyone here except for collecting the money when I was done. My legs itches really badly in the way home, too. Got my nails done Saturday night I first noticed the entire building smelling like cigarettes and it was obvious they were smoking inside the building. Once she started, she filed the sides of my nails so hard that 3 of my fingers started bleeding and she ignored them. After she polished I immediately noticed how messy they looked with the polish being mostly on the sides of my nails but when I mentioned it, she told me to scrub it off when I got home. Not even 2 hours after my appointment the polish was already pealing off. I went back Sunday morning to get the nails fixed and not even a day later the polish is already peeling off again, very frustrating. DO NOT GO HERE!! I can't believe what I experienced at this salon today. I've been here multiple times and never had a problem, but after the way the manager treated me, stole my money, and practically harassed me I am never coming back. First of all, the manager ruined my nails and hurt me multiple times, tried to convince me to get Shellac or Dip for over 15 minutes when I clearly told her that is not what I wanted and I have had both many times, but I just wanted tips with regular polish because it's a little bit cheaper and has been working out great for me the last couple of months. She would not stop telling me shellac and dip were so much better for your nails ( even though I explained MULTIPLE times I knew that and I had had both done many times. ) Then she begin telling me she couldn't give me a new set and that I shouldn't even put polish on them. I told her I needed something on them because I was attending events this weekend. She told me that it was going to be $40 for tips and regular polish, when I have never paid more than $25-30 for this service anywhere. When I said "okay.. i've never paid that much for this before but that's fine I guess" she told another person to take care of me and told him "it's only $10" and he said "don't say that out loud". She was talking shit about me whenever I was literally sitting right there. The man who did my nails did a great job, but when I went to pay I knew they always did a 5% discount for using cash vs card so I gave her the $40 and showed her the sign and she goes "i'll keep it and give it to him as a tip" and I was like "umm okay"... so she basically wouldn't give me my money back and a tip is suppose to come from the customer not the business by stealing people's money but OKAY. I wanted to say something to her whenever I was completely finished but they had me pay before being done, and then left me and the man in there alone and the manager left. When she left I didn't know she was the manager until I asked the man doing my nails "are you the manager?" and he said "no she is the one who just left". I told him she was really rude to me and then told him I wanted to make sure he got the extra tip money that she said she was going to keep for a tip.. and he said "oh I don't get any of that, that money is yours" and I said "well she wouldn't give me back my money.. but you better get that". I also gave him another tip, but wanted to make sure the money she was withholding from me was his. At this point I was just PISSED. I wanted to tell her "you know you were really rude to me and you pretty much harassed me into getting something that I didn't want and I explained that to you multiple times and then you have a huge sign that says you get a discount with cash yet you refused to give me my money back so you could give yourself a tip with my money". Also, the guy reached into my purse to get out my keys without my permission and all my money fell on the ground so that was a super awkward experience because he knew how much money I had with me. So I am changing my review after frequenting this location. I've had issues the last few times I've been to this location & unfortunately it has changed my experience here. They offer a cash discount. They have a sign at the cash register. And if you pay in cash they don't even give you the cash discount UNLESS YOU TELL THEM/call them out about it. They also have a rewards program that you won't be a part of unless again - you mention it. Even if they recognize you as a repeat customer. The lady who runs the place (or appears to) is super rude. She always appears to be judging you/others and has not been very welcoming the last 5+ times I've come. Like I said I've been multiple times, I always tip decently + have given positive reviews to other people about this location encouraging them to come! That's coming to an end. The last few visits have been disappointing to say the least. The customer service sucks, the people are rude, and it SUCKS to have to be this person because at one point I had such high hopes for this place! I'm not one to leave negative reviews normally but unfortunately this is long overdue & I don't want anyone else to feel the way I have started when going to this location. read more

This salon is probably the worst one I've been to in my opinion. I showed the lady the design I wanted and if she could do it and she said she could. She most definitely could not do the design. It looks like she didn't even attempt to do what I wanted. She also cut my fingers by filing them down to much and hard .... she was literally filing my skin. Almost all my fingers were cut and bleeding which burned as a result. For the original design I wanted red color scheme instead of brown for Valentine's Day. The only positive side was they changed the nail design upon request but it still ended up being bad. The man who was nice ended changing by nail design but the paint was bulky and the butterflies were sticking out of the paint. I want to point out that they said the lady who did my nails is the only one who does advance designs. Overall, I do not recommend but do with this information as you will. read more

Kim did a wonderful job on my nails today. I came in with acrylics that needed serious work to take off and restore my nails underneath. She took them off without hurting me, added a bit of fake nail to the ones that were torn and needed a bit of length, and dipped them to make them look like brilliant natural nails with a nice color. I believe it was #280. She was so nice and even paraffin waxed my hands afterwards which was wonderful on this very cold day. Thank you Kim! read more
