I was serviced within one hour of closing so I was already happy. The decor is very inviting. I enjoyed the ambience here, everything is shiny and new. Staff were very nice and attentive. Massage chairs are comfortable but I couldn't manage to get the whole chair to massage. My mani pedi were average but the polish job was pretty good. The polish bar was extensive with awesome colors, of course all new. Prices are competitive for the area with mani pedi at $38. I'll definitely come back. No one here knows how to do nails anymore and it's unfortunate because it's so close to my house. Since those girls left, I've come here twice and left with horrible nails I've had to take off as soon as I got home. In addition, the DO NOT HONOR APPOINTMENTS. Very disappointed in the service here. My friends and I have a regular nail salon we go to, but due to a long wait, we decided to try this new location. Overall, the salon looked very nice and clean and the service was good, however my issue is with the longevity of my nails. I got SNS and a manicure and after less than a week, my nails have started chipping, lifting, and cracking. Being that i get SNS frequently, this not something I've ever experienced. My friend who I came with also had an awful experience. Her SNS nails started cracking for no reason after less than a week. She went into the salon to see if they could fix them and not only did they not believe her, they asked to see a receipt as evidence, and tried to charge her to fix their mistake. I was treated very roughly and rudely by Mia. She was filing my skin and not just my nails with the mechanical filer. I have never had a more stressful nail experience. It was so disappointing because I had to leave my baby with a sitter, trying to just have some me time. It is clear that the staff is unhappy and they are taking it out on the customers with poor treatment and mediocre hygiene. I had to remind her that I need to wash my hands. It was a poor experience. They are unprofessional, unskilled, and their services are grossly overpriced.  (The nail tech who serviced me had a large wedding ring and a tattoo on her right upper arm) AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I'll start by saying I was in ATL visiting from NYC. I'm loyal to my manicurist in NYC. The visit started with three of my girlfriends deciding to do our nails. One was getting a pedicure, the other a refill and me a regular manicure. We were received and not told how long the wait would be. We were happy to be spending time together, so we sat as directed.  A kind gentleman (nail tech) had a friendly banter going back and forth with us about how they provide the gamut of nail services etc. Overall it seemed like the makings of a great experience. Unfortunately, we sat for roughly 30 minutes without being touched, and finally a nail tech began my friend's gel refill. We noticed that someone else who came after us had sat and they'd begun her pedicure. My friend gave a friendly reminder that I too was waiting for a manicure. At which point a lady rushed over to begin my manicure. She was in such a rush that for the beginning of the service she was standing. She finally sat down but was noticeably in a RUSH, as she'd already started another client's manicure and had to pause. She began aggressively filing and cutting my cuticles. I told her "please don't cut my cuticles"to which she responded "ok honey", and continued to cut the cuticles, completely DISREGARDING WHAT I'D JUST SAID!   The nightmare continued...she got to the polishing stage. There was clearly left over polish from the previous manicure still on my nails. She began polishing. It was so horrible she had polish on the very cuticles she cut and the corners of my nails had no polish. When I brought it to her attention she asked did i want polish on my skin, the irony was astounding. In the end I told them, for $18 they'd need to redo the manicure. At first they ignored me, when I tried to show the gentleman (who seemed to be the acting manager and more fluent in English) he never responded (ignored me) the jovial gentlemen we'd first met was now muted  and didn't even acknowledge me. He just began shouting out words to her in their native language (RUDE) and  she reluctantly came over, mumbling in her native tongue the entire time.   In the end I had her take the polish off and I left without paying. TBH, they should've paid ME for the wasted time!   Worthy of mention my two other friends were pleased with their services. At minimum, avoid the nail tech described above. read more

Writing this while sitting here. Honestly save your time, energy and money. I've given them multiple chances to make things right but the manager Crystal is rude and unhelpful. I came to the salon yesterday to get a French sns, paid $53 + $10 tip and before i even got home (4 minutes away) one nail was already broken. I came back today with TWO broken nails and asked them to strengthen all of them with an extra layer or two of sns to avoid having to come back when the rest break, but instead i am being talked to rudely and the manager refuses to fix the bad work. This is the second time this happens. First time i was treated exactly the same and i thought to give them a second chance. But for their lack of respect for their customers and their lack of accommodation for their customers this is probably one of the worst businesses in the area. This was the worst nail experience I've had in a long time. FIVE of my nails have broken in the last week. I got a full set of SNS nails and they all broke in the same location. I went back and got one of them fixed free of charge but then four others broke two days later. I think they use really cheap products. For the price that they charge for a full set of SNS (I paid $55), these nails should absolutely not be breaking like this. I'm so embarrassed of my hands! I do not recommend this place. read more

Do. Not. Go. Here. These people ruined my nail. The woman I normally go to drilled too far down in my nail bed and as a result my fingernail got infected. The infection worsened the day the shut down began so I was unable to go to them to see if they would at least offer to help. I just went by and explained what happened to the manager and she has refused to offer any type of remedy. I haven been getting my nails done there for at least a year and I will now NEVER go back. I tried to like this place. After my third negative experience, I don't think it's going to happen. I find most of the employees to be nice, however I'm not impressed with the quality of service for the prices they charge. I had a VIP hot stone pedi yesterday. The stones were so hot, one of them burned the bottom of my foot. My manicure had to be stopped shortly into it be because the nail technician sanded off skin on my finger, causing it to bleed. He wasn't apologetic in the least. I even stopped by today to show the manager what my finger looked like. Just be careful, that's all. High prices, low quality. read more

I came in for a basic pedicure with regular polish and SNS. They were out of the color I wanted so the nail tech found something "similar" but it was way off and ended up showing as a transparent pink. The shaping was crooked and the SNS got all over my cuticles. The glue was overflowing onto my skin and burned/detached my skin and nail. He was nice tho. I tried this place because I was new to area and it was really close. First, don't bother coming here if you're a loyal OPI person (SNS) like myself because they don't have any. Second, the receptionist was dishonest and this is the only reason I'm leaving this review. Upon arrival, I asked for alpine snow (which is a pure white color that stays white over time) specifically and she told me they had it. I'm super anal about my hands and feet matching so I usually get the same colors and I know them. Fast forward during my pedicure, all of a sudden they don't have it but it was too late at this point since my hands were submersed in acetone. (This place does your pedi and nails at the same time.) The lady doing my nails tells me they only have one white and was super silent when I reminded her that the receptionist told me they had the color. I'm a reasonable person so I just let it ride because honestly, white should be white. NOT IN THIS CASE! As she's dipping my nails, I can tell it's a light pink and she keeps telling me that I can't possibly have pure white nails, which is a lie. My toes were white so I was telling her it wasn't white the entire time. I've had white (alpine snow) all of the times at other nail salons because those salons invest in quality supplies. This is the exact reason why I asked if they had the color before I even sat down in a chair. They used some off brand dip powder that cracked and broke after 3 days. On a positive note, the lady who did my nails was trying to be friendly and the shape was decent. Don't bother with this place and it's a reason why it's empty when you walk in. read more

I got a gel manicure and the girl rushed and did a very sloppy job. The store was not busy, so why not take your time? The polish is all up on my cuticle and in the edges, not flat against my nail, which makes it peel off so much faster. I have been here before and been happy with the results. This nail shop recently opened up by my house and I was hoping this could become my regular spot. I have been going to Piedmont Nails and Spa for years, but the traffic and parking are annoying. However, my nails are always on point when I go there. First red flag, the utensils are not packaged...the nail tech had her supplies on a tray, inspected each one and squirted alcohol on it before she used it. Secondly, she was super messy...old gel droppings were in the water that I was soaking in (she would buff one nail and put it in the water, buff the next nail and so on...essentially taking the old gel off directly over the soaking water). Thirdly, she barely cut any cuticles...I mentioned it to her twice that I usually have a lot taken off and she brushed me off. Lastly, she would paint three nails and put me under the light and then paint the other two, I am not a fan of that technique nor have I ever had it done like that. The manager came to me and asked how everything was, I told him my concerns...they spoke in their language, he looked at my hands and says it's pretty. To which i stated, the color is pretty but the manicure is not. He stood there for a few seconds and walked away. He checked me out and didn't ask if I wanted to leave a tip, which i didn't. Other locations are better. Staff seems untrained or all new staff works while the people who actually can give a great manicure sit in the seats on their phone. I came in the other day to get SNS taken off and nails buffed.. left with uneven nails (some long some short), no buffing and my nails are now basically peeling layer by layer. If you have someone who is clearly new... make sure you check their work before you let a patron leave - way better customer service. I would have stayed longer to get them fixed, but due to the fact there was many staff members coughing without covering their mouths.. i wanted to leave as soon as possible. I'll be sticking with the Atlantic station or grant park locations moving forward. read more

I showed him a design I thought was fairly simple he said no problem he could do it. He waits until he is almost done with my nails 2 1/2 hours later to tell me he can't do them like the photo!!! When I point it out how they look nothing like the photo says he's sorry I can come back another day. Now why would I do that ? I am angry and disappointed but I don't make a scene. I am trying to be a fan of this place but the customer service that I've received from both one of the managers and one nail technician was super unsatisfactory. I came in to get a pedicure and gel powder full set. My feet were in the water for a full 25 minutes and I still didn't get anyone to do my pedicure so the water had gotten cold. To make matters worse, I asked my nail tech who had started on my nails to make them coffin shaped and she didn't know what she was doing. She got so frustrated with me because I kept giving her feedback so she just pushed someone else on me. After I went through that entire debacle, they overcharged me by at least $35 for my services. If there was a 0 star, this place would have it. This salon is way too expensive ( I mean for a Fill in Gel & Pedi ; $167? ). Afterwards, which was the next day, I noticed that 5 of 10 nails had lifted. I would've went back but I was scared that they would only mess it up again & cause a bigger headache.
