Went here to celebrate Halloween. It was a lot of fun seeing/guessing everyone's costumes. They had a drag show happening in the theatre area. It got super hot with everyone squeezing into the area & moving around. Definitely some unique odors. I will say I loved the level of them using the screen to match the theme of the performances! The drag outfits/costumes were on point! They had a list of featured drinks which was cool. Some were served it cute light up cups. The main room with the bar had a DJ and of course a dance floor going. It got pretty crowded at some points. Parking sucked in the area. I parked across a bridge + 2 blocks into a neighborhood. Seemed like a quiet neighborhood but not sure I'd recommend if you are alone! I seen several people take chances and illegally park in many areas. Also don't recommend, in the event of an emergency it made some areas very tight when people shouldn't have been parking there anyways. Was a fun time overall.

I came here for drag bingo, which was a lot of fun. Def recommend it. I believe they have it every Wednesday and Sunday (??). The only thing when we were playing they have like strobe lights going which made it hard to see the bingo cards. I just ordered wings and fries. They were good nothing special. The service was good. We had the bartender, Bethany, helping us and I think she went above and beyond.

Lush is a fun spot for people watching. There are so many unique individuals from all walks of life there. Bartender was super friendly and kind. Lost on pull tabs which was a bummer. Unisex bathroom if that matters to you

I love Lush! I've been several times for different drag events and it's always a good time. They have a pretty decent menu and their food is surprisingly good! I've had a few different items but I love their burgers and the mini corn dogs. I like that their kitchen is open late as we've gone after going out because they still serve food. Service is always good, sometimes a little slow but they are busy so I get it! In the main area, sometimes the music is a little loud to visit but that's understandable. They have a nice outdoor area. The only tricky thing is that parking can be hard to find on busier nights!

Fun place to play bingo. Drinks are strong but the mango margarita was good! A little spicy I liked it. I've never been when it's super busy yet but would love to see it packed. The outdoor cabana area is so cute and fun to hang out with friends!! We went around the state fair time and so their menu featured state fair foods. We had the fried pickles, mini donuts, fried chicken tenders and jojos.

So fun! Came here for my first drag show! Dick Von Dyke was so entertaining as were all of the other performers! Only thing was that the food took a long time to come, and it was a pretty simple brunch. But, it was so fun and exciting to experience!

We came for a drink and late night bite one night (not even for a drag show or bingo - don't worry, I'll be back!) and had wonderful service and food! We brought a large group that just kept growing as others arrived - and had to move tables to accommodating the newcomers. Our server was so accommodating and found us a new booth. We got a few rounds of drinks - I had a few Sociable ciders - and service was quick to bring them out. I hadn't eaten and was starving, and wasn't sure if they'd have anything I could eat. Lo and behold - they offer gluten free buns! I got the burger with cole slaw and ya know what? It slapped. That's a dang good burger! I'll definitely be back for a drag show or bingo again - but can confirm this is a great spot to hang with friends in a vibey atmosphere with great service.

Okay, getting my pants stained by a bartender with Worcestershire sauce and getting a half-assed apology wasn't on my Top 3 list of things I want to do... but other than that: -food: meh -drag show: not bad

Pride 2022: stopped many times to celebrate pride 2022! It was a great time, they had an oversized outdoor area with a stage and pop up bars. The inside bar was pretty overwhelmed, but the outside went quick. It was hard to know where to order food if we didn't have a server. Once figured out.. food was swift and accurate. Great job on such a successful weekend! Food we tried off the menu: Chicken tenders and potato wedges- ok... these chicken tenders rival another bars chicken tenders and I think they are officially better here! Good job! Dunk them in some ranch or honey mustard and you will enjoy! Breading was light and crispy. They also use chicken and they feel like they are handmade vs food service. I'm not normally a potato wedge fan, but you've change my mind and a few others! They were seasoned perfectly throughout. Yumm! The poutine (I didn't eat due to not eating pork). Suggestion... do a impossible sausage gravy as an option? (Since you already have the impossible burgers?) I would love to try it at brunch and I would guess others would too! My friends told me it was so good and rich. Definitely a fork to eat food, but worth it. Strawberry shortcake - it's been a long time since I've had this with a biscuit vs pound cake. It was tasty! Love the fresh whipping cream too! Keep up the good work Lush... we see the changes/evolution and hard work... keep it amazing! :)

This is definitely a location you must go to if you are in the Minneapolis area! There are so many great opportunities for photo backdrops and the overall vibe is stunning! Between the bold colors, neon signs and gorgeous bar it truly is an amazing place! I went here for a Saturday Drag Brunch which was in their back private room! There was a very large amount of us in there and their service was still on point even with the large crowd. I love that they are family friendly but still know how to have a great time! I chose to have an espresso martini with the breakfast tacos and neither was disappointing! I will suggest this location for anyone traveling to MN!

We attended the Lush Plush Pride party. It was a great party. It wasn't too packed, they had plenty of stations to get a drink quickly. The drag show was fun and high energy. We loved the inclusive environment. The drinks were great and the DJ was fun to dance to outdoors. We plan to come back for brunch. Recommend to ride share, bike, or take transit because parking is hard to find.

I just booked Saturday's brunch, I haven't received the email confirmation, how long does it take?

You should receive it right away. I'd call them.

Is this an 18+ or 21+ club?

LUSH is 18+ everyday before 9pm and 18+ all day and night on Thursday (College Night). Thank you!

Had my first experience at The Saloon for Twin Cities Leather Weekend early November!…read more The thing that struck me most is the impressive square footage of the place. It essentially has four-ish connected but separate "chambers." You come in on the corner into the first one which has a typical bar set-up with lots of bar stools to sit at. Further back there's more table-and-chair style seating because it's nearby their kitchen where they serve hot food; there's also a pool table and darts throwing in this section. Deeper in there's a couple more bars in smaller segmented dual rooms, which is nearby the main restroom (there are several, at least three restroom locations inside). Quite a lot of urinals in this establishment, but a lack of stalls to sit and do your business, which was a little frustrating for someone like me whose equipment requires sitting to pee. No gender segregation though, which I'd expect in this day and age of a queer bar, but still nice to see. The final room is by far the largest, as it has a bar but also a large open area like a dance hall and stage. For this particular weekend it was utilized for hosting the contest, but also a puppy mosh (iykyk). Even as big as it was, it was PACKED during the contest portion of the weekend, making it difficult to see or hear the contest. (I think they could use a more up to date sound system.) We got food while we were there, and it was great. I got a BLT for just $9 and it was piled high with bacon- they did not skimp. Eating it all was a challenge for li'l ol' me. Meals come with ruffled chips that are very salty, but you can upgrade to other side options like french fries, onion rings (which my husband did), etc. for $2. The food was honestly affordable, especially for the amount they give you; I think they do this to discourage you from leaving the bar to go somewhere else for food, which is a solid strategy, haha. Parking around here is... tough, as you might expect in downtown. There is a nearby garage though just across the street behind the bar that I think is just $5 for evenings? I'm sure I'll be back for future events. I myself am not a casual bar-goer, so I don't really go out to these types of establishments unless they're hosting something fun. Always nice when a place is a community gathering space in addition to their regular business. I appreciate this place exists and serves the queer/kink community in that way.

There were a bunch of different rooms, which all had different music playing. Didn't explore that much. Mostly just out on the patio and on the dance floor, but I saw pool and other bar games. There was also a photo booth, which we used. Overpriced, but I guess you have to expect that from photo booths. Drinks were so cheap ($4)! And good dance music from the DJ. Biggest complaint is that there is only one stall in the bathroom (the rest are urinals). So it was always busy because obviously there are a lot of people who are trying to use the stall. Had to plan your pees.
