Who knew Lush threw parties for whatever occasion you may have! My friend Jessica invited me to her birthday for a Lush Party. It was such a low energy intimate gathering. There is a minimum and maximum on the guest list so do check with your local Lush to see what the number is because each Lush store varies in sizes. The host will pick what you make at the Lush Party. Our party made the Sleepy Bubble Bar. We got to mix all the ingredients up and while it was setting , the Lush team got an activity ready for us. We got to do two activities within the 1 and half hour party. After the bubble car has set a little it does take 48 hours to dry. We everyone got to take a goodie bag home along with the bubble bar that was made. Inside the bag included a bath bomb, scrubs, soap, and shower gel. It was a fun experience, and would totally recommend. read more

I came in initially to purchase a specific fragrance (Death & Decay $180) and I was being mocked and mistreated from your employees. I had my boyfriend present with me and we both noticed this and didnt make a scene in store, but I plan to speak to the owner of this location soon. Of course I'm excited but also my nerves are at an all time high and I can honestly say I left the store with a bag full of goodies but even better than that was i left feeling pampered, spoiled, and above all relaxed. My sister was raving about their products and how friendly/ helpful the staff were. So, I ran in today on my lunch. I was met by a very kind young woman (I regret not getting her name) she listened to me rant about my hair and showed me 2 products she felt would help my issues. She was able to explain why each of these products ts could help me and that was very reassuring. I won't lie, the product is quite pricy for the size of the containers. I am happy to pay for quality though. I asked if they did samples and she cheerfully set me up with some samples to try out. Not gonna lie, I got home and took a quick shower to try these out. OMG! I didn't want to get out of the shower. The shampoo doesn't lather very well, but that's to be expected and is actually a good sign as it means there aren't any detergents in it. I worked it through and massaged my scalp with it before rinsing. Then I applied the conditioner as explained to me. I was super skeptical of this because the main ingredient is maple syrup! I have certain issues and maple scent is a biggie. Holy spaghetti gawd.. this conditioner does not smell of maple at all. I do not know what it smells like actually.. all I can say (and I am not religious at all) is that if there is a heaven... as you walk up to the gates, the smelletizers would be wafting this scent! My brain went straight to nirvana and did not pass go and didn't give a damn about the $200! I am sitting here writing this review with a giddy grin on my face. I have a feeling I'll be back to buy these with same intensity as those thin mint craving vultures. I went in here today, the day before Mother's Day, to get my mom a nice face mask. When we walked in, we were not greeted. The workers proceeded to help every single person next to us and asked every single one of them if they needed help but not me and my fiancé. They watched us walk around the whole store just staring at us, we felt so judged and uncomfortable. When we were about to leave, a customer walked out, the worker said have a great day. We walked out shortly after and she just stared at us. Not sure what we did to deserve that kind of treatment but we will not be going back! We have never felt so unwanted in a store EVER. We felt so uncomfortable, we just walked out. I've never been to this place before until this time. I had such a great time exploring in here. They had a bar where they made face masks which was adorable. From the moment we walked in somebody was there to help us the whole time. When we made our final selection as to which soaps and lotions we wanted They cut it from a block of soap and it was super fresh. This was my first time here. I thought they just sold bath bombs so we never stopped in. Today, my daughter wanted to go into Lush because she wanted a bath bomb. She's been into bath bombs ever since getting them for her birthday. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a young lady, Vivian. She asked if there was anything she can help me with. I told her it was my first time in the store. She welcomed me and explained to me the different parts of the store. Vivian even told me they do parties where the party can make bath bombs, mud masks and so much more. She asked my daughter if she wanted see a bath bomb dissolve. Of course my daughter did. Vivian allowed my daughter to pick one to dissolve. She explained what was in the bath bomb and what it was good for. She allowed my daughter to play with the bubbles and foam from the bath bomb. I really liked how they had the samples out. They have soaps, lotions, body cream, mud masks etc. There was another girl just standing around on her phone. When her friends came in she went to talk to them. She was not attentive to anyone else in the store ... The prices of everything are pretty expensive though... but everything is natural and way better for our bodies. We definitely will come back and recommend this place. I should've made this yelp a while back, but I came in looking for the scent "Super Milk" and this sweet lady name Yvonne showed me another scent called "Chelsea Morning" and said how the scents were similar, but I really came in hoping to get the specific scent I was looking for, so I wasn't interested. I said I would possibly come back if I felt I really wanted it, but she insisted on spraying my arm and said to walk around the mall with the scent on me. I left and when I was in another store, I assumed I smelled someone else's perfume and asked if the person who was helping me somewhere else was wearing something and what it was. She replied that she didn't have anything on, but she could smell it too. I smelled where I was sprayed and it was me! The scent had transformed into a bakery scent!! Never have I ever run back to a store so fast and made a purchase. I was having a lot of trouble in store with technical difficulties since I was paying off my phone and bless this patient person Alexie for being so sweet and understanding, I'm pretty sure the other person in the store's name who was sweet as well was Alexia and man...I've never had such a peaceful shopping experience. It's because of people like them that I want to shop at these stores. I was so grateful for all of my wonderful interactions with them that I want to go back and explore more of the store. I have used a shower gel from Lush for years - it's the only one I buy and my husband and I love it. Recently I ordered a 16 oz bottle online at $40. When it arrived, it was leaking; the protective seal with broken, the cap was popped, and gel had visibly leaked into the shipping box. I then chatted with someone through Lush's online chat, seeking to rectify the situation. Instead of offering a refund or an exchange, she offered a $5 e-card. I said I didn't want a gift card, I instead want a replacement bottle of the gel; outrageously, she offered a $10 gift card instead. When I further insisted, she finally said she could do a one-time refund, but that it would ONLY be this one time because they "don't refund for small leaks." A product arrived damaged with the protective seal broken and this company initially refused to replace a $40 bottle of shower gel? Further in a follow-up phone call a second Lush personnel said: "My employee is correct - our policy doesn't replace for small leaks." So I - a long-time repeat customer - received a damaged product, was refused a refund by Lush personnel until I insisted twice more, at which time I was made to feel guilty for making my request. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to make a claim of fraudulence in that Lush intends to sell supposedly sealed and protected products to consumers yet does quite the opposite - Lush sells unsealed and unprotected products to their customers and is prepared to refuse and/or obfuscate the process whereby a refund can be received. For example, given the "one-time refund policy" noted above, it is clear Lush's official position is that if I were to order another Lush product that came damaged I would not be refunded. So there you have it. Don't order online Lush products; their policy is to not appropriately pack their items and then blame you for the leak and offer a $5 gift card. I hope my report to the Better Business Bureau will be help prevent future fraudulence by Lush. read more

Why haven't I reviewed Lush? I think it's a global assumption, that this place is just awesome and it doesn't even need a review, but, here we go... It smells fantastic BEFORE you even walk in. You walk by and you smell the sweet and floral aroma of bath bombs. It's like it smells so good you want to eat it, like play dough. But, it doesn't smell like play dough... It's a great place to shop for a gift and a nice change from the regular "bath and body works" lotions and soaps. My husband evens uses some of the products. He won't admit it, and he wouldn't buy them on his own, but he definitely has used a few face washes and the bath bombs. Here are MY favorites: Coalface. Love, love love it!! This face wash removes all my make-up and most of my eye make-up. (I always have a little bit still under my eyes that I remove with the Garnier cleansing water). It comes in a little charcoal chunk. It's about $12 and it will last me around 3 months! R&B. This hair moisturizer is insane!!! I use it for my fly aways and the ends of my hair. You need a tad, like a teeny, teeny bit. So this jar will last me literally about a year. Cupcake Mask. Ah! They smell so good. Like chocolate and mint and make my skin feel fresh and smooth. Roots hair treatment. Honestly, not sure if it's doing anything. I guess I could take before and after pictures, I don't know, but I do know I like it! I put a generous glob on my hair at night and sleep with it in my hair. The next day I wash it out and it smells fantastic. Lip scrubs. Every time, and I mean EVERY DAMN TIME we go to this store my daughters grab a lip scrub. They're about $10-$12 each for this tiny jar, but again, you only need a little. The sugar scrubs work really well and it taste good too. Bath bombs. Yes, of course. They're awesome and they will make your bathroom smell like lush. :) Things that I just haven't gotten the hang of: The conditioner bar. Now, my daughter LOVES these, but I just want to put creamy stuff in my hair to condition it. I can't do the bar. However, it is still in my shower, and every once in awhile I will take it out of its tin just to smell it... read more

I never leave reviews, but this was probably my worst experience with customer service. I went in today October 21st, 2024. I came in to do an exchange for some products I was gifted for my birthday which was last week. Upon arrival, I was greeted which was nice. As I walked around the store I didn't receive much help. When I finally went to the counter to do the exchange. The male presenting employee with rose tattoos on his arm said he was unable to do the exchange. When on the website it says return for any reason to find products you love. As I explained that I've read the return policy online. The female presenting with black hair then slammed the clipboard on the counter showing their updated return policy which was for online orders. Which these items were gifts. When I told him that, the male huffed and puffed. I then made them aware with how uncomfortable I was with how hard this exchange was. The female presenting RAN (literally speed walk) to the back to get the manager. I believe they ran to the back because they thought the manager would tell me the same thing. But it seems that those two employees made up their own return policy. When the manager came out, they were so helpful and so kind and explained to me that there should be no problem doing the exchange. The manager with red hair really turned around my experience. They were so nice. We even bonded about how we had cats. Overall, I wouldn't go back if those two employees were working, but if I saw the managers there, I would definitely go in because they have impeccable customer service. I would give two stars because the managers were so sweet, but overall the experience was overshadowed by the treatment I received by the original two employees. read more

I understand they're supposed to talk to you but my mind is already overstimulated by the scents that I simply do not want to talk. Here I had the worst Lush experience I've ever had, and I've been to so many different locations. I don't usually review chains unless I have an exceptionally good or bad experience. It was a pretty typical visit, except when my mom picked up something to smell and had me smell it- it was disgusting... my mom commented that it smelled bad or spoiled. An employee over heard us (didn't catch her name, but she was thin, with straight dark hair, and looked really young) and, in the most condescending voice I've ever heard, told us we just aren't used to smelling "real, natural scents, like essential oils". It was one of the rudest things I've ever experienced in a business setting, and then she proceeded to try to bother/"help" us (both of us are frequent Lush shoppers and were just browsing a little bit after grabbing exactly what we came in for). It was just a really bizarre experience. I won't be shopping at this location anymore, and my mom, who lives in the area, has said she'll order from the website from now on. Don't offend your customer and then try to coerce them into buying your product. That's just.... really, it's pretty annoying. read more
