Girls day was so much fun when we stopped in LUSH! We hadn't been before and from the time we walked in from the amazing smells to the top notch customer service. The all natural cosmetics has everything from soaps and powders, to body sprays, conditioning bars and beyond. Everything I touched smelled so wonderful. Emily who helped us is an absolute GEM! Like irreplaceable and I sure hope to see her when I return. She was so sweet and helpful and even gave us some great samples when we checked out. COVID 19 Review- I have to start this review by giving a standing ovation to the front line associates working in the store! They are making health and safety a priority. They have an enforced max capacity so anyone waiting to get into the store needs to stand in line. The store is roped off with a greeter. The greeter working the door proactively ask the customers what they are looking for and in some cases they will grab the item you want and complete the transaction with a handheld device. If you want to browse the store you can still do that you just need to wash your hands first and ask for assistance when smelling and touching select items. This was my first time inside the store so I didn't know what to expect. I loved all the bath products and enjoyed the fact that they do not test products on animals. I did however find the prices to be a bit on the pricey side. read more

This is the weirdest experience I've had a LUSH and I've been shopping at other locations across the USA for years. I walk in and a young women greets me to see if I need anything (standard), a few moments later she kindly compliments me on my shoes. Abruptly another employee steps in-between us and asks her a question severing our dialogue. I quietly walked away but it was certainly a peculiar experience. The young woman I was talking about was so nice and seemed to be bullied by her staff mates. I most likely will most likely send a letter to corporate. Lush is a cosmetic store that makes amazing natural face and body products. If you have sensitive skin (like me) you'll like how gentle and healthy it leaves your skin feeling after using them! My favorite of their products is their Angels on Bare Skin. The Angels on Bare Skin is a face and body cleanser. I prefer to just use it on my face instead. This cleansers gently cleanse and exfoliate my skin leaving the skin soft and smooth. I noticed a significant amount of skin improvement (acne, scars, and dry spots) after using this. Rosy Cheeks face mask is the best. At just $12.95 a tub, this mask is worth every penny. I've been dealing with rosacea for years which causes redness or flushing on my cheeks. This face mask is a holy grail for calming, soothing and reduces redness on my face. Plus, who doesn't like the smell of roses?! Sex Bomb is my favorite bath bomb. It smells wonderful and gives off a jasmine and floral scent. The bath bomb fizzles and changes the water into a nice pink color. In the center of the bath bomb, it has gelatin rose petals inside. This leaves my skin feeling soft, moisturized, relaxed, and a long-lasting floral fragrance. Their products are a bit pricy to shop there, but I think it's worth it. Their ingredients are natural and good for the skin. They try to pack less to avoid waste and use recyclable containers. They NEVER test on animals and part of their money goes to awareness and organization. I would absolutely recommend Lush. read more

My daughter (11) loves LUSH and wanted to have her birthday party there. I was so thrilled to see that LUSH offers birthday parties! I spoke with the store manager, Kelsey, and she made the process seamless and just perfect for my daughter. She talked us through what to expect and LUSH had so many options for the bday girl and her friends as goodies! Her actual birthday party was a blast! They did ice breakers, fun games with shower gel discs, bath bomb making and also face masks. Girls loved exploring the store and learning all about their products. It was really well done and the staff was outstanding! Kelsey and Kristen made the party such a fabulous time for all the girls and for mom!! I highly recommend a birthday party experience at LUSH. Just moved to Virginia about 3 weeks ago and my nail technician recommended going to short pump if I wanted spurge on a shopping trip. Short pump is absolutely gorgeous and has a great range of stores. It's surprisingly better than any mall I've seen in the Bay Area in California. It's an outdoor mall, kid friendly, with a beautiful layout. I went into LUSH because so many people rave about their products and I wanted to give it a shot. I went in to get a facial cleanser or face mask, but walked out with something totally different. Once I learned more about lush products, I opened up about my real skin issues. I had a huge sunburn on my upper left arm which looked so hideous and nasty. Its caused my eczema to flare up big time and anyone with eczema knows how bad it can get. It was bumpy, dry, red, patchy, inflamed...basically a girls skin nightmare. It also would not heal with any of the products I currently own. It's caused me so much insecurity for the past week; I couldn't even wear a tank or short sleeve top because it looked like a skin disease and with any more exposure to the sun, it would have got worse. With all of my skin issues in mind, these two girls recommended Dream Cream and the Dreamwash. They were extremely knowledgable about their products and told me that anyone who's had skin issues like mine and used these products, saw amazing results. They threw my skepticism out the door when they massaged the products into my skin. I felt the product working right then and there. After one night of using these products, my sunburn/eczema has healed and cleared out so much. I couldn't be more pleased! Their products are in the mid-high price range. But for someone like me whose tried just about every lotion, cream, ointment, over the counter products, low end, high end--this product is a must and a game changer. LUSH ... my favorite and mostly visited store nowadays. Products are great. Staff are awesome and the best ever.

I live for Lush! In fact, I'm shocked that I haven't already reviewed it yet. These products keep my skin hydrated, even, and glowing, honey! Once you go Lush, you never go back. I discovered them one day a couple years ago in Short Pump and I've been hooked ever since. I really should be on the payroll with the amount of business that I send to them on a weekly basis. Is the smell overwhelming? Yes. Are the employees too much sometimes? Yes. Are the products more expensive? Yes. But, guess what? That shouldn't stop you from coming in and trying the products. You get what you pay for. They are all organic, don't test on animals, and do not have chemicals that will dry out and damage your skin. In case you need product suggestions, here are my holy grails: *King of Skin: A MUST HAVE in the winter when skin is drier than the Sahara. This is a stick made of all kinds of luscious butters that you rub on wet skin after a shower. Towel off and It keeps you hydrated for days. No lotion needed. *Angels on Bare Skin: A solid facial cleanser that you break off and mix with water to create a paste. Perfect for exfoliating, hydration, and travel since it's not a liquid! *Let The Good Times Roll: Another solid facial cleanser like Angels, but it smells like sugar cookies and is a little less messy than Angels. *Skin Drink: Super hydrating moisturizer with avocado, aloe vera, and rose petal! I love this store anyway but today made me love it even more. My 4 year old and I were having a mommy and me day. We went to Lush because we both love it and I wanted a bath bomb for this weekend. The employee Christine talked to my 4 year old about her favorite bath bombs, showed her anything she wanted to see and made her feel so special. She told her Daddy all about the girl at the store who played with her and the samples of the Rainbow fun she gave her. I was helped by another girl whose name I forgot to get but she was awesome as well. I will always come back but now my daughter is a loyal customer because of Christine. read more

Products: 5 Sales Staff: 1 I have shopped at Lush for years and love their products. I loved their products more when I used to order them through the mail, because actually going into their store sucks. The store is small and cramped. The employees are incredibly pushy and try to make you buy, buy, buy. They're not even subtle about it. I still buy a few things here, but being older and wiser I am able to stop myself from paying $13 for a tiny bar of soap. I still think their face masks are the best, though. And their dry shampoo rocks. read more

I can't say enough about this place. I love it. I love the fresh made, organic, no testing on animals mentality. When you walk in you are greeted by so many amazing smells, there's really something for everyone! The only reason I can't give it a five is because the store is way too small for the amount of business they do and they are often out of product. Great businesses are great at responding to their volume. Otherwise, I love LUSH products, the sales staff are nice and helpful and even when there's a line, it seems to move quickly. I'm frequently in the shop getting bath bombs, bath melts, bubble bars. My daughter loves their lip scrub (well, I'm a huge fan of the popcorn one, too) and some of their shower gels are nice. I also like their massage bars. It's also fun to check out the limited edition items they have coming out around different holidays. read more

I love Lush, but I cannot stand going into this store, which is unfortunate because it is the only one around. It seems like if you appear to be over the age of 22,, no one wants to give you the time of day. Which is actually ridiculous because people over 22 are the ones out of school, working, and most often the ones with disposable income to be repeat customers of more than just bath bombs. There is also always a very slow moving, long line, with only one register open. I wish they'd get it together or open another store nearby. read more

The sales girls were super almost too friendly but I understand the upsell which totally worked on me. I purchased a bath bomb and a little pot of lotion that proceeds go to support charity. I finally made it to Lush and I was not disappointed. I will start by saying that it is really small and cramped inside. But, that being said, the staff is amazing. I really like all the personal attention. I am starting to go more towards all natural products for skin care and they have so many options. But you'd think after seeing me once a week they'd stop annoying me and let me just buy what I want to buy. I've been wanting to try their bath bombs for a long while now, so I finally got the courage to walk into the store. First of all, the store is too small for an average sized person let alone anyone who might be a little bigger, so I barely had room to move around. I accidentally knocked over a soap display because my breasts are very considerable, and the girl, she wouldn't give me her name, made me feel really bad about it. But I still made my purchase, even after they made me feel so bad about knocking everything over, I'm clumsy okay! Anyways, after using their bath bombs I got a really bad rash on my downstiars area, so I called the store to try and get a refund, and they refused to help me again saying they can't refund me for the products I already used. I told them they should at least offer to pay for my doctor bills, but they hung up. read more

I visited this store to buy my sister a present for her birthday. When I went to pay for the gift she had spent time looking for, the sales associate would not let me pay because I did not have an ID to accompany my debit card. I didn't carry anything other than my phone and my card because it was a very hot day... Other than the fact that they wouldn't accept my purchase, even if I were to walk back to the car to bring them my ID I wouldn't. It was embarrassing. I like Lush, they have pricey but fun products. And that's pretty much all I can say. As for the location, I will never go to this store again. I stopped by to grab a bath bomb and was greated with "We are actually closed!" I get it, the store was closing in a few minutes, but the doors were unlocked and there still was a customer checking out. Everyone who works here is fantastic help with knowledge on the products and how to use them. They're all VERY friendly and make you feel at home. My only problem is (which is probably because corporate makes them), they like to force other products on you which "help" and "work" with other products. I went in there to buy my daughter a birthday gift...as she always wanted Lush products and never had any. An employee showed me only a few of the pre-wrapped items, and then suggested I make up my own gift box, which she could package up nicely. I was there for over a 1/2 hour going through their products, carefully choosing items with scents in mind for my daughter. Long story short, I ended up getting A LOT of items totaling A LOT of money. After it was rung up, I asked about packaging options. She said there was no option other than to PURCHASE yet another item (scarf) to wrap the presents just bought. Really?!!! That was my whole purpose for giving them my business (to get my daughter a birthday PRESENT). I had even suggested that we trade out the items in one of the holiday boxes (not wrapped mind you) with my items. Again, the response was to purchase a scarf. What made it even worse, the lady who purchased her products next to me was offered free samples. My total was more than hers, and I was offered nothing... other than to BUY a scarf for wrapping! Jeez! Okay, so now that I got my rant out, I have to admit, the employee was knowledgeable about the products.
