I've always been a fan of Lush, especially for their gift boxes for the holidays, but this particular Lush always stands out for how incredibly kind and thoughtful the employees are! EVERYTIME I am there, they are just the perfect amount of attentive. I'm a wheelchair user, which means accessing stores physically can be really tough, but even though Lush's interior is quite small and hard to navigate, the employees are always more than happy to grab things for me and help me try them out. Can't thank this Lush enough for how amazing they are!!! read more

Last time I checked the Lush in Georgetown was closed for renovations. So, when I was in Columbia on a random Wednesday, I decided to start my holiday shopping. Slow day and the store is tiny but I was treated like VIP. I tried a new scrub and a foot pumice(sp?). I wanted the Respect your elders soap since I'm obsessed with elderberries. I haven't used it but super excited about that and my other two buys. Great store in general. And great service. 14/10 would recommend for all your self care needs. read more

i love the smell of this store! stepping inside this little shoppe makes me feel that i've entered a spa filled with many sweet and exotic scents! the item that intrigued me the most was the shampoo bar (small bar of soap, but for hair instead of hands), which also comes in a nice travel-size. they also sell containers for these travel-size bars, which is very convenient. read more

I usually love all Lush stores. Lush is known for very helpful and enthusiastic employees. This location was not the case, employees did not greet or try to help what so ever (the store was not busy and there were plenty of employees on the floor). After getting a couple samples (3) the employees rudely informed me that I should be mindful and not get too many samples because the limit was 5. I've shopped at lush for more then 8 years and I've never heard of this "rule". Considering I usually spend well over $100 each time I go I thought that was odd. The holidays are coming up and I wanted to try some new products out before putting it in my Christmas list. Needless to say I put everything back and will not be returning. The worst Lush store I have every shopped at. They lost a loyal customer today. read more

I have a sick obsession with Lush products. I am absolutely in love with almost everything I have tried (almost). The products are wonderful for my skin, I have much healthier skin now using these products and surprisingly they have actually helped with my acne just as much as the chemical bad-for-your-skin stuff does. So I prefer to go the more natural route, and everything here smells amazing! While this is probably the smallest store I have been to, it has all of my go-to products and it is conveniently located behind my office. Which is both wonderful and super dangerous, I find myself here every week, or every other week. The reason why I love this store so much is the service. Every time I have been to this store I have worked with a different employee, for such a small store, it amazes me how many employees they have. But EVERY employee I have worked with has been super nice, helpful and accommodating. And so for that, I keep coming back! They also give samples, so if you don't know if you like something ask for a sample so you can try it out before spending money on it. They also have a fantastic return policy. P.S. I need a part time job here, I spend way too much $$$ here! That's how much I love it. read more

Lush has the best HR folks! The pick great men and women to work for them that sets the bar on how customer service in retail should be! Everytime I have visited sales rep have always been patient, friendly, and helpful. This location is small but packs everything from shower gell to facial cleanser! They are a one stop shop for all beauty needs! The soaps are wonderful and smell great my favorite is Dirty (They name their products the cutest names). The give out samples of their soap so you can try it out before buying. That always gets me because I get a sample size and It it so great that I have to come back to buy the full verison. read more

This store is so hard to even walk past! I came in due to the scent of the itself lingering me in. I had to smell and try every product! The store itself is small but it has everything! The customer service here is amazing everyone is just so helpful, not to mention there are no problems given when there are exchanges and they are all open to making sure you are satisfied with your products. I ended up getting the cinnamon-peppermint shower jelly which is actually a really good scent combination that lasts a very good amount of time and moisturizes perfectly! I couldn't leave without getting samples of the soap bars as they are all so addicting! So I tried the lotion-soap-moisturizing massagers and the scent lasted all throughout the day, I left the store and walked into another store and I heard people say "something smells really good", people even came up to me and asked me what scent I am wearing and where did I get it from! I love knowing what I am putting on my skin and I can really say it makes such a difference having natural products versus all the chemicals and ingredients they put in products nowadays. I have never tried their face/body scrubs before...I sampled the famous "Ocean Salt", this product is amazing!!! My skin feels at its best, clean and moisturized! I gave this place 5 stars, yea it smells amazing, all natural and has great customer service but I will tell you the real reason why this place is amazing. I love Lush's products, but that's for a different review. I also love this Lush store. I really like the fact that I don't have to order their products online and then wait a while to get them. It's nice to just walk in, talk to someone and actually have something. I've been there a couple of times and both times were really good. The first time I had never heard of Lush but decided to give it a try and had a great experience. The employee who helped me was really nice and helpful. I balked a tiny bit at the prices of some of the things, so I just got a sample. Then I realized just how awesome their products are and decided to come back for more. The second time I came in was also pretty good. It was a little bit crowded, but I got the same nice individualized attention as before. I also felt like the employee really tried to relate to me, and be more personal instead of just a robot. The employee who helped me and the cashier did kind of goof off when I was checking out, but it felt nice to see happy employees who got excited about their products. Overall the store has a happy, welcoming atmosphere and I love going there! Plus it smells so amazing in the store! read more

I've been in Lush stores from California, Hawaii, Massachusetts and now Maryland. I've always gotten exceptional customer service. The sales associates are very helpful with helping you find just the right product for your skin. A lot of the items are just for fun, bath bombs, bubble bath, etc. But they also have AMAZING skin products. The sales associates are always happy to give you a demonstration on how to use the products because many of them are unconventional. (For example, the facial cleansers come in a very thick paste that you water down in your hand before using them. They don't bubble, so there's a bit of a learning curve there.) If you unsure if a product will work for you, you'll often be sent home with a sample to try out. Just ask. My skin is just a wreck if I use drugstore products. Their masks work wonders very quickly. I use Aqua Marina facial cleanser and Full of Grace serum. I see results very quickly (go away, zit!) The shampoo bars are a hit with the boys in the house. My son is hitting puberty and has greasy hair. With Seanik, his hair never looks greasy, even at the end of the day. I've been to the Annapolis location as well, and prefer this one because it just isn't as packed (normally), so if I'm in need of something new, I don't have to wait for someone to help me. Both locations have friendly, knowledgeable staff. Lush has many vegan products and they don't test on animals at all, if these things are important to you. read more

I love lush products and normally have a great experience shopping in Lush stores. Normally the employees are so happy and knowledgable but unfortunately my most recent visit fell far short of what I am accustomed to. I walked in the store and there were 4 employees goofing off. I didn't mind and I'm all about having fun at work but I started to mind when none of them offered assistance or even a simple hello. So, I approached one of them and asked where a certain product was. While she half ass attempted to help me, explaining that they were sold out, the other two female employees stood there and gave me the stare of death. At first I thought I was just being paranoid but then my husband, who was waiting outside, noticed their rude demeanor and apparently it was so obvious that he came in the store and told me not to purchase anything because of how rude they were. Besides the rudeness, the girl that attempted to help me knew less about the products than I did. When I asked her if they had anything comparable to the product they were sold out of, she seemed totally clueless and started spouting off all sorts of random vague information like, "this will fix all your skin problems," etc., etc. I understand that during the holiday season it is very busy and these folks are probably tired and ready for a break. However, there is no excuse to be rude and lack basic knowledge of the product you are being paid to sell. There are lots of unemployed folks out there who I would bet would do a far better job than the folks I encountered today. From now on, I will order my Lush products online. read more

Hi, I just wanted to take a moment to recognize two employees at your Columbia, MD shop, James and Sal. I went in looking for a birthday gift for a friend, as well as some smaller gifts for colleagues. James greeted me with an awesome smile and took the time to lead me around the shop to get me acquainted to how everything was laid out. He pointed out a few gift set ideas and gave me a demonstration on how the bath bombs work. As I checked out some other items and he helped another customer, Sal kindly stepped in to offer me some assistance. When I was ready to check out, both James and Sal took the time to hand wrap each of items and make sure I had sticker labels for each so that I could literally go straight from the store to deliver the gifts. They were both super friendly and knowledgeable and really went the extra mile to make sure my first experience at Lush was fantastic. I will definitely go back. read more

I went into Lush today for the first time ever and Lindsay, the associate, was amazing. She was so patient with me and with all of the questions that I had. She walked me through the whole store and shared her opinion on what products she suggested. She offered samples of certain products and gave tips. This is my first time at Lush and I loved it. I went in knowing I wanted something, but not sure what to try first. An employee walked around with me showing me lots of stuff I was interested in and would help with dry skin and evenly out skin tone. I ended up getting a set to try a couple things at once. They also offered samples that I could take home and try, to see if I like them. Overall I will be coming back and really enjoyed dropping by. read more
