Lime & Mint Smoothie Made from scratch! The flavor is spot on!
    Mario M.

This brand new stand in the location that provides smoothies milkshakes and energy mix drinks plus sweets that can also be ordered for catering upon request. Can't miss it it's a small bright hot pink coffee stand building. They just had a grand opening last week!

Disappointed no mango bits for my XL tropical glow! Lakewood location. I also wanted energy but I think they put club soda instead.

For a drive through it sure takes a while to get your order. The drinks are ok, but if you're in a rush just go somewhere else.

Positives: I love that there are sweet and savory crepes so there's something for everyone. I love that they have seasonal drinks so there's a funky flavor to try out and not the basics all the time. The batter of the crepes are really eggy, which I love. Negatives: What happened to the sweet crepes?? They used to be filled with caramelized apples or some fresh strawberries with paste or strawberry and rhubarb. Now 3/4 of the sweet crepes HAVE NO FILLING. I paid $13 for a crepe with just brown sugar as a filling.... guys, this is a rip off. The sweet crepes had options of brown sugar filling, powdered sugar filling, maple syrup. This is a joke? The only one that had fruit was the strawberry Nutella one and Nutella is usually a flavor palate for kids. I was SO disappointed. I ordered a small banana bread latte and ended up having no banana bread syrup in mine so it was just a regular latte, I should've said something but I was basically already done with the experience when I realized I paid $22 for a basic SMALL latte and some batter with brown sugar. My friend got the pumpkin chai and that was really good, I do have to say. It's cute but not worth it at all.

The interior is small, though they have additional seating outside. Many diners got to-go orders, which is surprising since crepes get soggy easily. Anyway, service was fine. The guy tried to be courteous but failed; I won't go into details. Prices are a touch higher than the nearby place; they include a salad to differentiate for the savory crepes. I wish creperies differentiate how they make the base crepe depending on savory vs. sweet. Savory ones benefit from more oil to enhance the seared flavor, while sweet ones don't. Their base crepe is good, not great. The Food: Merguez, $20 - 2.5 Stars This crepe has spicy Moroccan lamb sausage with onions, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and peppers. The overall size is modest. Hubby orders lamb often but was disappointed with these lamb sausages. He said they mostly taste like little smokies. Not a complimentary description. Norvegienne, $21 - 3.5 Stars This crepe has smoked salmon, spinach, capers, red onion, and crème fraiche. The salmon didn't taste as smoked as I would like. They are similar to the plain lox variety that might be on a bagel, which is not as flavorful. On the plus side, I thought this is a well-stuffed crepe. The included salad for both is a mixed greens with tomatoes, feta, parmesan, olives, tomatoes, and range dressing. I wish restaurants spill out their ingredients on menus. I don't like cold cheese; I could have saved them some money and tell them to skip it on mine.

Right at noon, people started filling up Point Ruston, lining up especially for a pop up donut vendor and the taco place next door to Zaya. Zaya has a beautiful selection of Eastern and Western pastries on display: normal and giant sized macarons, honey cake, eclairs, walnut caramel cookies, cream filled horns, cannoli, sweet breads, muffins, cookies, and more. The price is average, not too cheap like a mass market bakery but not too expensive like a bougie French patisserie. They also serve handcrafted coffee and tea drinks and hot lunch foods like crepes, borscht, and of course pirsoshky. I ordered a chicken pirsoshky (about $6), a cup of borscht (vegetarian, about $4-5), a walnut cookie, and a cream filled horn. They have some bar height tables right in front of the counter but also some normal tables just across the walkway. As I waited, the 2 young ladies working were so busy preparing food or drink that they totally ignored people waiting in line. That was unfortunate because it means lost customers and revenue that day. Seems like they need more training or more support to handle the crowd (though it really didn't seem that busy). I think it took 15 mins to get my pirsoshky gen another 15 to get my borscht. I'm surprised because I thought these were already prepared and could just be warmed up. The guys that went before me waited just as long as I did. Thankfully all of us waiting didn't make a fuss but if someone was in a hurry this would be very frustrating. The pirsoshky was tasty. Wish it had a bit more filling but overall I liked the browning and flavor. It got dry quickly though. My borscht was piping hot and very tasty. It was served with wheat peasant bread slices and sour cream, which was a nice surprise. The soup was so good I want to try and recreate this at home. The pastries were overall good but the cream horn left something to be desired... Maybe I'm just desiring another one to feel satisfied haha. I would go back to try more things but they need to improve the service.

She was definitely working so hard to get all of our others in, cook food, and make drinks. So she is definitely a hard worker, also she was super nice and friendly to us even when she's super busy. My husband and I think it's worth to wait a bit and enjoy the sun. If you are in hurry then definitely not a good idea to come here cuz you might have to wait a bit. We randomly walked by this place and thought maybe we should get coffee. Then we saw they have pierogi; so we decided to stay and have dinner here. I got garlic potatoes and he got chicken pierogi. Mine was perfect! The garlicky flavor and potatoes, with sour cream. The chicken one is juicy but there were slightly too much salt sprinkled on the pierogi. So it got a little bit too salty. We also got two dessert and they were amazing! The mocha I got was okay, not really my favorite. I like that you can sit outside, and she said she will wave at us when the food is ready to pick up, I just wish they can open the windows so it will be so much easier to get the food.

This place has become my go-to stop for our monthly early breakfast…read more My wife and I have a monthly early morning appointment near here and we keep this place on our rotation of breakfast joints. Yes, I said breakfast joints. I'm well aware it's a "coffee" place, but if you haven't stopped in for a fresh crepe, you are seriously missing out on a hidden gem in Gig Harbor. I usually get whatever the special is, because they generally have a killer special crepe, and I have yet to be disappointed by them. My wife has sampled several of the regular menu item crepes and been very happy with all of them so far. She is a super picky eater, so this is a pretty big statement. Her favorite is the Bacon, Turkey, Avocado crepe. They don't skimp on the avocado either, big slices! It can be hard to locate, it is inside the Olympic Medical Building. From the outside you'd never even know it was there. But once we decided to check it out and found it, this place became one of favorites. It can be slow sometimes, so if you're in a really big hurry you may want to gauge the line. But we usually hit it just before 9am and it's not too busy. Really love the crepes here, highly recommend giving them a try. Oh yeah, they also do paninis too. If you're not a crepe person. ;-) Oh, and I guess they have coffee, for you coffee drinkers. =D

ACTUALLY, here at J'aime Les Crêpes, the crêpes themselves seem fine. It's that they load them with WAY too much goo. Gooey goo goo. Mountains of gooey sweetness. They have a captive audience of hungry, bored ferry passengers just awaiting transport, and perhaps these people are goo lovers one and all, besides me. I mean my worst, number one hated food is fudge, so if you love fudge then perhaps do not heed my opinion and get a sweet, sloppy, goolicious crêpe. Like I said, I have friends who will, in passing by, eat these crêpes and enjoy the experience. The shop IS cute, and the service seems fine. The walk-up window is fun and convenient. The price is typical for eating out, which is to say, pretty damned expensive, but that is not J'aime Les Crêpes fault in the slightest. And yes, in general, j'aime les crêpes also, but for me, please hold the ginormous mountains of sticky thicky goo.
