CONSUMERS BEWARE- I bought a $500.00 funeral arrangement and it started wilting in just 1 1/2 days…read more The mourning family took the arrangement home to hopefully brighten up and bring warmth into their home , but instead the flowers were TOTALLY dead in under 3 complete days (see photo attached) while All THE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS they brought home lasted considerably longer , as they should ! Quite obvious they made my arrangement with OLDER and POORER QUALITY FLOWERS !!! What I do recognize that mistakes can happen , but when they do any ethical company apologies and makes compensation or corrects the problem ! If you bought an appliance and it doesn't work they refund the money !!! In this case THEY DIDN'T CARE AT ALL AS THEY HAD MY MONEY !!! I am 78 years old and have NEVER WRITTEN a negative review , but in this case there handling of the situation was so HORRENDOUS that I actually felt it was my duty to protect others !!!! The history of succulents, types, care, and process of making our own. We each got to pick our own glass, succulent, and put a variety of decor in ours. Robbin is also HILARIOUS. We were all cracking up throughout the night. Not only was the class informative and fun, their small plant accessories (I got a mushroom and frog) were max $5! I've ordered from Blumz for Valentine's Day after doing much research in the Detroit area for the best quality and price for flowers. Blumz was $10 less than anywhere else and had more flowers. Let me begin by saying I live across the country on the West Coast. This particular occasion, I decided to call and place an order because it was my mother's 71st birthday. It was very important to me that my mother had a beautiful arrangement given I was not there to celebrate with her. I advised on two separate occasions that I wanted a very full very and lush floral arrangement to make her day special. I told the young lady that I had a budget of $150-$200 to spend. I just wanted to make sure again that the arrangement was very nice. I couldn't believe what the designer had put together for $180. It was full of filler and only 3-5 stems. I purchase home florals monthly and am certain the vase wouldn't not go for $100 at this point. I called the following day after delivery to share my frustration and request that they provide a better arrangement that showcases the value of what I paid. I even told her we could simply discuss a refund because they couldn't get it right. Neither looked anything of what was originally requested for my mother's special occasion. Despite all that, had they delivered the second arrangement as promised with no hiccups, I wouldn't have left a review at all. However, what happened next truly stunned me, and I have to caution future patrons to steer clear of this florist. Upon delivery of the corrected arrangement, the young lady asked my mother for the previous arrangement pictured here back. When my mom asked why she explained that she was taking it back so that she can resell it!!! Keep in mind this set of flowers were delivered a full day prior, so whomever is purchasing this is getting recycled flowers that have been traveled and sitting in my parents home! Not only is this disgusting customer service, but horrible quality control.

Wonderful Polish centric art/craft store in downtown Hamtramck. Lots of nice authentic artwork to see and appreciate, definately NOT MADE IN CHINA, where my personal favorites were their large Christmas ornament selection and their glassware. To that end, I ended up buying a couple beautiful whiskey glasses to add to my bar collection with the Polish Eagle engraved on the heavy weight glass. These glasses are visually stunning and will be very much appreciated and a talking point for my extended Polish family. (: Whether you are Polish or not, there is so many nice/beautiful things to see at this store that you should definately check it out if you are in the area. In a world that is full of cheap junk/trinkets that are mass produced a store like this stands out for both its quality and beauty and should not be missed if you are in the area. What a quaint store hidden a little bit outside of downtown Ferndale. This place offers so much in the way of indoor and outdoor plants, pots, and every other plant accessory under the sun. I always manage to find hidden gems in this space and honestly, some of my favorite plants and pots that I've gotten (and there are a lot of them) are from here! The staff is so knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. I brought my friend here who wanted to start getting into maintaining indoor plants in her new home. She picked out a few succulents and a gorgeous pot from Olive's Bloombox and they happily potted all of them into the pot for her to take home. They are so incredible and their stock is constantly changing, so go often & search high and low! There are always some seriously unique gems here that I can never find anywhere else and I love them for it. :)

So on my way back I passed another business and was looking at things in the windows and at the end I saw some plants. So I go in and talked the young lady and she was very kind and helpful and took her time to show me what she had to sell. I picked out three cute little plants and she off to box them together since I was walking. It was a really great experience and look forward to returning again.

I ordered on line as it was after hours. I was concerned with the arrangements being last minute that there might be a hold up as other places required several days. I submitted my order online and got up early to call to ensure everything was set. Imagine my surprise they were right on it. Knew exactly what I ordered, when, and where the delivery was set for. I was very pleased! The spray was beautiful. Couldn't have asked for better. Thank you for doing such a great job.
