The best meal I ate during 2 weeks in Bordeaux! Recommended by a local and literally just steroids away from the Paul Doumer tram stop.
Small, cozy, and very relaxed atmosphere, like dining at the home of a friend who also happens to be a professional chef.
They have an excellent wine list and a full bar. For dinner you can choose either the 5 course menu for 55 Euros or the 7 course menu for 72 Euros. You have a choice of either fish or meat as your main, but all the other courses are whatever is fresh for the season.
Very talent chef and amazing service. Every dish was as delicious as it was tasty, from the tiny broccoli tart to the perfectly done mackerel, and the best duck breast I've eaten in France. I'm not usually a desert lover, but I absolutely loved the ice cream and mille feuille.
You can reserve online and should because even on a Tuesday evening it was packed with locals. read more
