I can't say that I loved this place. I popped in here to have their beef tartare as I was looking for a quick and easy casual place for lunch. I really think this place focus is burgers. The beef tartare's portion was huge, but the flavor was not that tasty. Additionally, the meat wasn't chopped well and there were several times I picked up huge chunks of meat strung together which made it pretty unappetizing. Everything is cooked here on a grill top so the place smelled like a cookout. The space is small and cute with pictures of animals blowing bubblegum on the walls. Service was super friendly as well. The surrounding burgers looked really really tasty and the fries were superb.

Teeny place! No big parties so be prepared for that. They didn't have outside seating. The waiter told us the Le Chef burger was the best. He was not lying! Eating a burger with a knife and fork was an amazing experience. Burger was cooked to perfection, and the cheese was not thick. Didn't over power the burger. Fries were cooked perfectly. When we left we got free apple shots. I would eat here 3 times a day if I could!

I had seen these delicious looking burgers on TikTok and added it to my list for my trip. Our first mistake was stopping in after a full morning of eating. These burgers are huge and you have to order one per person (it makes sense since their restaurant is so small). We also had one of their red wines in a small bottle. In this small restaurant, you're seated right next to the cooks which really gave us a full view of the cooking process. Every burger we saw them make looked amazing and I wish I had gotten one covered with a little more cheese but mine was delicious! The fries were amazing too. Their prices were very fair for the quality. It's great quality you can taste. After we ate, we had a shot of espresso with the owner who told us all about their business. I can't wait to go back!

Best burger I have ever had! Go with rare!

This place is fanominal!!!! Outstanding, best burger I have ever had in my life.... I'm from the states!go with rare... Don't worry it's safe and more cooked than Americans would believe. Customer service is wonderful as well! Can't wait to come back here!

I found this place by accident and it was a nice little gem. The salad, the excellent frites (fries) and the Beouf (beef) mignon with poirve (pepper) sauce was just fabulous. It's a small place and the staff were very friendly.

If you want to try the best burger in your life you need to do what you can to get here. Hands down best I have ever had. Fresh patty formed right at the counter and red hot, hand cut fries. The delicious cheese sauce poured on top of the burger was unreal, that being said you may need to eat with a fork and knife (I think they also have gloves available lol) as it's a little messy.. but so worth it. Recommend making a reservation as seating is limited, don't recommend making big plans to do something afterwards because you will be in the most pleasant food coma ever, enjoy!

I came here because of the good Yelp reviews and left disappointed. They seem to specialize in burgers, which we did not order, but they have seared duck on the menu and Yelpers said it was very good. Unfortunately we disagree. The duck breast had a burnt pan taste to it. The cook cooked everything on a small flat-top grill so the wait time was painstakingly slow. The table next to us walked out after 45 minutes of waiting. I wish I had done the same but we waited it out and got the burnt tasting duck. Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of char on meat but there is a difference between flame charring meat and burnt stainless steel.

Had heard through word-of-mouth that this was one of the best Burger bars around the entire town of Bordeaux. I believe this to be a correct statement after my experience there. Strongly recommend a reservation, as the place is small (8-12 tables max) and is popular amongst locals and tourists alike. Burgers were flavorful, and who doesn't love smothering the entire burger with a creamy cheddar sauce! Yum!

Have been twice and haven't regretted! Quite tasty, marvelously presented, delicious meal for a reasonable price! THIS is a never wrong choice! :))

The mignon plate was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked and seasoned; one of the best burgers I've had. Great selection of vino too.

For entrees, the citrus watermelon tataki was amazing as was the flame burned mackerel. Les Plats: The roasted trout and peanut smoked guinea fowl were exceptionally delicious. The desserts were incredible - we had the madagascar dark chocolate ganache and the meringue dome with marjoram and white chocolate. Arcada was one of the best meals we had in France. You definitely need a reservation as they did have to turn people away without one. The restaurant is a bit in an odd location on a somewhat empty street. Also this is weird, but the floor slopes downward and isn't flat which made me personally feel uncomfortable to be at an angle (I have motion sickness and this felt weird). I'm know not everyone is bothered by that but I would've liked to have known before choosing this place. Otherwise it's very nice and romantic inside. The price is excellent at 49 euros for three courses. The food was very good but I will say that it looked better than it tasted. We enjoyed it but we weren't convinced that it is the top restaurant in Bordeaux as listed on trip advisor. For the price it was good.

Ok people picture this-…read more One cool evening on the streets of central Bordeaux, walking arm in arm with my better half, heading towards my birthday dinner all of a sudden I hear from behind me "Roz" i carry on walking "Roz" I still carry on walking "Roz" ok fine i turn around and there one of my closest friends and ex-flatmate (she moved to sunny Dubai) stood before me. After screaming and hugging in shock (we had not seen each other for years) we agreed to meet the following evening. She picked this place for our little reunion meal and it was perfect. This is one of the most popular seafood places in Bordeaux and seats fill up super quick. We took the tasting menu a combination of prawns, oysters and other shellfish. This was my first time trying Oysters and I loved them. For main I took Seabass and my friend took Salmon both served on a bed of rice and a side of basic green salad. Again fresh, amazing and a sensation for the taste buds. For dessert we shared the pear tart and again wow!!! The staff are very accommodating and friendly and are eager to take time out to explain the menu to you. The restaurant itself has a very rustic yet nautical feel to it. Needless to say we sat there for a good few hours i recall leaving with a semi empty restaurant behind, yet we were not disturbed while we chatted and caught up on our coincidence.

The seafood platter had offerings that aren't usually seen on ice the US . Snails , clams , tiny prawns in addition to oysters , lobsters . Good way to expand your raw seafood palate. The price is reasonably less expensive than the same amount of seafood in Southern California restaurants.
