I started with Dr. Yurio and after a few sessions of physical therapy ordered an MRI. Turns out I completely tore my ACL and part of my meniscus. I was presented with my options and ultimately decided to have surgery to repair my injuries. I was transferred to Dr. Kaplan and he again presented me with my options. I decided to continue moving forward with the surgery. At no time was I pressured into having the surgery. For my lifestyle and health it made sense to move forward. Fast forward to surgery day - The surgery center is in the same building and is well maintained. I was introduced to several people who would be participating in the surgery and each one confirmed with me why I was there. It was clear patient care and safety was a top priority. Follow up appointments were a breeze. They email any paperwork required prior to the appt. And after check in the most I ever waited was 5 mins in the big waiting room or in the actual room. I saw either the PA and Surgeon during these appts. Both were professional and never made me feel rushed and felt comfortable asking questions. I was in and out in less than 30 mins from check in to check out. I had a positive experience from start to finish with this group of Dr.s and would recommend them. There are several Dr.s with different specialties available. I did see one of the foot Dr.s several years ago, can't recall his name, and did not have the same positive experience.

I think there are 3 good PTs here and Elizabeth is definitely one of them. Seriously, Elizabeth is amazing. I would only go to her. Only. The management really needs to do something about the younger therapists and front staff. It's bothersome. They're arrogant and if they don't want to be there they don't need to be. It ruins everything there. I see them work with people and they are not happy. This review would be 5 for Elizabeth. Front desk staff ruins it.

Extremely knowledgeable and well trained. A "stickler" on operating room hygiene (Ask the nurses who he warns to "stand back. Too close. Too close.". ) He is straight up about what to do after surgery and he tells you he does not care what other drs do or allow, or how early other drs allow you to wear shoes, run, etc. He is VERY cautious and he knows how to get the best results! And his results are the tops. He disagreed with 2 other specialists/surgeons on a diagnosis for me. Strongly disagreed! I allowed Dr Norman to do his thing his way and he was right! Love this man. When my son-in-law tried to help, they closed the glass window on him and laughed--absolutely outrageous behavior. My daughter has been waiting in severe pain for this appointment. To be treated this way and turned away when she could provide the insurance information digitally--which they refused to accept--is completely unacceptable.

I have also heard wonderful things about all of the neurologists here. This practice is located across from Baptist Medical Center Downtown in the Aetna Building. There are some really beautiful views of downtown and the river from their offices. The only negative thing I have to say about this practice is that there is always a wait. It's not uncommon for the wait to be up to an hour. So, bring a book, your iPad, etc. Just plan accordingly. Also, you cannot just call her and make an appointment. Even if you have insurance that doesn't require you to go through your primary care doctor to see a specialist, this practice still requires you to have a referral from your primary care doctor. It's also impossible to get them on the phone immediately whether it's to make an appointment, get med refills, etc. You'll have to leave a message. However, they are excellent at calling you back ASAP. I highly recommend Dr. Asad and this practice for your neurology needs.
