I had never had a professional massage before but decided to give it a try after I strained my shoulder whilst training. I got a fantastic massage from Natalie who rubbed away my stiffness and soreness. Now, my shoulder wasn't magically repaired but it did feel a lot better. I was able to move it more freely with less pain. I had no idea what a professional massage was like but after this experience I have been back many times. I would recommend this place to anyone who has a sports injury or just wants some relaxation.

The place is a little difficult to find, neatly tucked away inside the health food store on the main shopping strip, but once you get there, you will find a well priced massage. Vivian helped gets some knots out of my neck, patiently listening to what my problem was and was so attentive to detail that she actually worked out what my actual problem was (not what I thought it was!). The shop isn't open all the time, but Vivian was really accommodating and was able to fit me in with short notice. I really like this place and will definitely be going back!!!

Booked my appointment with Trish. Let me say she did not disappoint. She was just perfect. So perfect in fact that I went back every week until I left Sydney. I so wish I lived closer! We got a discounted deal from a group-buying website: a 90-minute relaxation package worth $140 for $59 per person which included- 1. A 60-minute Thai massage; 2. A soothing 15-minute foot bath and scrub that uses your foot's reflex point to stimulate blood circulation; 3. A15-minute Thai herbal sauna The massage was hypnotic; I was so relaxed, I almost fell asleep! The sauna is in an authentic Thai-style hut and the herb really gets under the pores of your skin, leaving it supple and smooth. The staff were very attentive but also knew when to leave us alone so we could catch up on girly goss. The tea at reception was a nice touch and they even organized a table in the corner for our nibbles, cheese and fruit platters, and champagne.

It's on a busy road so you can hear the traffic from the waiting room, but not so much when they bring you to the back. Small venue means only curtains separate the rooms, so when the massage is good and someone snores, you hear it. If the sound doesn't bother you it's still a very good massage. While the massage itself felt wonderful, they don't use aromatic oils or lotions - they basically use tiger bomb- hope the medicine-like smell doesn't bother you. I broke out in hives later that night, and I think it may have been the oversized pants they had me wear during my massage. Personally I prefer just going naked, but that wasn't an option here. It was only $65 for 1 hour, so that was pretty cool. But I would pay more for silence & clear skin... I will not be returning. Random side note: The tea they serve is awesome. Made from real dried fruit and they sell it so you can take it home, too.

Once you climb the stairs they've really done a great job fitting the place out. The music, smells, decor etc is just like a nice massage place in Thailand. The massage itself the first few times was great, the masseuses were attentive, listened to exactly how I preferred my massages & tended to tight areas without instruction. However today was ok, not the best but passable. So why am I giving them two stars? It's the after service, when I came to pay the bill on previous occasions they always gave me a receipt to claim back the massage on my health fund but this time explained to me that health funds are becoming strict & only certain massage can be claimed. This wasn't the problem, it was more so how it was delivered to me, completely lacked any tack and being a regular customer I felt completely jilted. The experience made me feel cheap & I was fine with no receipt to claim back if that's the rules but the passive aggressive nature of the conversation just lost them a valued customer.

But she'll work with you to target whatever problem you're having. Linda has some good techniques for the neck and back, and LuLu is a little softer (though can still dig deep into those muscles) and you tend to come out feeling very relaxed. They all seem to be genuinely interested in what's going on for you, too - especially when you go regularly. As the other reviewer noted Linda does sit at the front desk watching movies (sometimes with headphones, sometimes without), but this doesn't bother me too much. If you need silence for your massage this may not be the place for you, but if you've got a stress headache and just want it fixed these girls will sort you out.
