I recently decided to check out their services, and booked a highlight and cut with Kenzie It was almost a packed house (all chairs full) when I was getting my hair done. Kenzie is a sweetie and fantastic! I usually give pretty vague descriptions, show a photo or two. I'm not one to get overly upset about results (as long as I walk out with hair below my shoulders, I'm good lol), and prefer to have the artist work their magic. She definitely has the magic!! The highlights are amazing and perfectly placed. The cut is awesome - I love that she still did long layers but in a way that I can still put my hair up or braid it and there are not pieces sticking out every-which-way. I will definitely book again with her and highly recommend :)

I found The Establishment after searching for a Green Circle salon in the area (if you're not…read morefamiliar but care about sustainability, it is worth a google search- they go above and beyond to decrease the environmental impact of hair services) and reached out to set up a somewhat last-minute appointment (especially considering a holiday rush) for some color and a cut. I saw Kenzie and showed her a couple inspo pics and explained a couple hair issues I have, and she got to work. She was friendly, and we had a few nice conversations, but also some non-awkward silence, which was relaxing. I didn't feel pressure to make small talk. Even though I arrived a couple minutes late, she was able to complete some foils, a toner, a cut, and a blow dry with time to spare before I had to leave to cross town to teach a yoga class, which was also greatly appreciated! I absolutely love the results - it was just what I was looking for. I'd had an emotionally draining appointment just before going in, so it was a relief in so many ways to be so pleased with the outcome and leave with more confidence and pep in my step. On top of that, I found the rate to be very reasonable! I will absolutely be back!

Ritchie was recommended to me by many people when I asked in a neighborhood Facebook group about a…read morestylist who is good with curly hair. I brought my 12 year old daughter in- her hair is curly and very thick and we were having a hard time managing it. Ritchie was amazing- not only did he give her a beautiful haircut, he showed me and my daughter step by step how to style and fry her hair so we would have the same results at home. He also provided us with small portions of the same products he used so we could try them at home and told me to call him if we had any trouble. Ritchie has a great personality and is fun to talk to- he had my shy daughter opening up and we all had a great time chatting while he did her hair. He also called ME a few days later to check on us and see how her hair was doing. We will definitely be back!

Though personally I've only had appointments with Tami, I've heard great things about Richie and Angela as well. The salon was recently redecorated, so in addition to getting an awesome haircut and color, you can relax in a truly beautiful space. They use Davines products which are all-natural, so that's a huge plus if you're concerned about chemicals. Overall, I can't say enough about Brio! If you're looking for a new salon, this should be your next stop.

She has helped my hair through many stages, including when I was diagnosed with cancer. She cut my hair into a cute style before I lost my hair to chemo, then gave me great cuts, tips and tricks while my hair was growing back. I've always given her total reign over my hair, because she not only gives great advice, but she listens. I love going to seeing Alex, and now my family goes to see her too!
