Parking lot packed when we left. It is an enjoyable experience and never the same. If you are not down for the frights they will allow you to wait in the "festival" area and hang out. The area has lots of municipal parking but they can get full pretty fast so parking may be an issue if you don't use the valet. They did such a beautiful job and communication with them was great. We chose to have a DJ (Matt) and MC (James - voice smooth like butter!) with a drummer (Justin) and a sax player (Dave). These guys were a dream team. My guests still cannot stop raving about them! They all said they wanted to stay on the dance floor and felt like they could've done so for so much longer, and were so disappointed when it ended! The entire room was up dancing - young to old, there was something for everybody. James pumped up the crowd amazingly, Matt felt the crowd and played the best songs, Justin on the drums was throwing drumsticks and doing crazy things with the drums - people still talk about it, and Dave on the sax was also amazing. I would not hesitate to use them - they were referred to me by sister, who used them for bar/bat mitzvahs for her kids as well and loved them. Allison was very patient and always got back to us with answers to lots of questions that we had and was very accommodating, and was able to get us additional things such as lighting, which was done seamlessly. Next time I think I would like to sit in that section. It's a little smaller, less seats and closer to the stage than where we sat. The play we saw was called, Half Time. It was a true story about older people who auditioned for the half time show for a basketball game. It was funny, entertaining and sad all at the same time. The actors did an amazing job. As far as the singing, some were better than others, but I think part of the problem was, some of the microphones were not as loud as others. It was still really awesome, and made the reality of getting older sobering and funny at the same time. I am not sure how long this show is running, but if it is still at this theater, you should go see it. I was able to only sneak two photos, since we weren't allowed to take pictures. I would go back to see other shows here. It's a great theater located in the great town of Port Jefferson!
