Although they are very busy (for obvious reasons), they promptly replied to every email, text message and phone call. They went above and beyond to serve as referee, counselor, mediator, and fixer. I cannot accurately describe how reassuring it is having a go-to (or two) to put out any fires or better yet, prevent them before they started. For brides-to-be, you will not find a better planner with more solid contacts in the industry. For grooms, cut the check! From the minute we reached out to Deborah in June of 2020, we knew we needed to work with her. She was unbelievably responsive, but most of all kind and compassionate. Within 20 minutes of speaking with her, we immediately booked her for Day of Coordinator services for our May 1, 2021 wedding. Throughout Fall 2020 and Winter 2021, Deborah continued to be responsive and listen to our worries and concerns. When we made the decision to proceed with a 50-person "micro wedding" on May 1, 2021 and postpone our 300-person reception to March 2022, Deborah was right there to assure us that everything would work out. Leading up to May 1st, we were assigned Kristin as our Day of Coordinator. Kristin met with us and helped to organize our wedding day itinerary, which still involved a decent amount of logistics even though we were still only having 50 people. She followed up with all of our vendors leading up to May 1st to confirm details and timing, as well. Both Deborah and Kristin showed up at our rehearsal on April 30th and even though we were meeting them in person for the first time, it felt like we had known them for years. They were prepared and knew the details of our mass in and out. On the morning of May 1st, Kristin texted us when she was on her way and asked if we needed any last minute items. As soon as she arrived, though, is when we saw the value of having the Deborah Minarik team with us in action. Kristin swooped in and ensured that every single detail (big and small) was handled accordingly. She checked in on the groom, dads and groomsmen to make sure they were all ready, made sure the bride, moms and bridesmaids had all eaten enough and set up all accessories for detailed photos. Kristin worked closely with our photographer and videographer throughout the day to make sure that every photo we wanted was taken and even held the cathedral veil and train throughout countless photos to ensure the perfect shot was taken. When we arrived at our venue, Kristin checked to make sure everything had been set up as requested. She even went to great lengths to find a banner we thought had gone missing and needed for a picture, and even offered to drive back to the hotel to get it (thankfully it ended up being under the sweetheart table). Not once during the day, did we stress about logistics. Kristin was a calming presence and we were so lucky to have her with us. Having her there throughout the day allowed us to be worry-free and truly enjoy every single moment. Hiring Deborah and her team was one of the best decisions we made and we are so thankful that we'll get to work with them again in March 2022. We highly recommend booking them ASAP!

As a person who is not in the industry, even I know it is common sense to have someone on standby for such hiccups. She was accommodating to me when it came to my nerves, however that not the only thing I needed accommodations for. A little tip, a client never wants to see her Coordinator feeling bombarded or flustered. This experience was not worth our money.

I will say I had a great experience with hair/makeup and dress but photography was such a horrible experience. We saw sample pictures beforehand and decided to go with Rahel but the pictures we actually got were no where near what we were given. I will preface and say that we were pre-warned that we were double booked that day and were not going to get the main photographer,however, I am not just upset at the quality of photos but just the lack of professionalism that followed. We ended up taking studio photos that day with the main photographer which actually were edited and came out nice, however, the pictures taken at the venue were terrible with the other photographers. Many of the pictures looked like we were inside a club due to horrible flash. Many pictures we were washed out with flash directly in our faces. Not just that but barely none were edited. We just got a photo dump of nearly 7 gbs of just raw pictures. We hired photography to get professional pictures but we just ended up with a photo dump of just raw photos and terrible ones at that. The worst part is I tried emailing the group about my concerns 3 times with NO response and am just amazed at their unprofessionalism with their clients. I guess once they have your money they just have no regard for you. If at least there was some dialogue about the situation I don't think I would have been as upset but the fact that before the wedding they were very responsive to the silence that followed afterwards is just what is very upsetting.

My (now) mother-in-law immediately booked a wedding event planner who's known as "the best" and we began the planning process almost 2 years before we actually said "I do." Welp, turns out "the best" was a complete nightmare, more so because he didn't give 0 you-know-what's about my vision, getting to know us as a couple (or, as people in general) and basically wanted our wedding to be a cookie-cutter version of all the others he's coordinated. A mere 3 months before our wedding I couldn't take it anymore and we finally fired him, which felt freeing until I realized we had assembled an incredible dream team of vendors, but had no idea how to pull it all together for our big day. After getting a recommendation from our amazing photographer (Kelsey Combe) and reading glowing reviews, I reached out to Kate, desperate and nervous. We immediately connected with Kate's calming, soothing demeanor on our first phone call and she was (thankfully!) willing to take on our wedding and right all the wrongs of our previous planner. Kate was an absolute angel (and I don't say this lightly!), who was patient, kind, insanely organized and professional and went above and beyond in executing my original vision. She fully embraced all of the wacky ideas we had (vinyl records as party gifts? sure! multiple disco balls? okay!) and brought so many out-of-the-box ideas to the table as well. Using her software, AislePlanner, made even the most annoying aspects of wedding planning (the dreaded seating charts) fun and simple. There's no rest for the wicked? False: there's literally no rest for wedding planners. I have no idea how Kate does it (and I'm a detail-oriented interior designer myself!), but she expertly crafted our best day ever and was the voice of reason (while being a kick-ass coordinator) on the day of our wedding.
