To Carrie & Wellington, EMAIL REPLY FEOM THE OWNER First and foremost, let me say this again - my wife did not call you names UNTIL you posted her PRIVATE Facebook page on yelp both on our dj yelp page and on your yelp page of photos .. whether its on social media or not you were not her friend and had no right to post her photo with full name and city she resides in .. What she initially said to you was not a big deal - she answers ALL of my emails, contacts the majority of my clients and i really don't have to explain WHY my wife works at OUR business - thats insane .. Here is my response to your complaints as follows .. #1 - Our TVs are 55 inch TVs on 5-6 foot truss stands - no they do not rotate as most of them don't .. It is not our fault or liability if the way the room is designed in conjunction with how our TVs are set up that guests can not see them - we have actually NEVER had this complaint EVER !! #2 - 2 business cards on the table is not our fault if someone puts them there. ALSO, your complaining about 2 cards? Why would my DJ leave 2 cards there - i never did that in 30 years of business - sorry this so offends you .. Also, you can not tell me I CANT bring my cards into a venue .. IN THE email you stated a DJ isn't supposed to have cards at a wedding what if someone asks for them .. EVERY DJ company brings cards .. theres no LAW .. totally ridiculous .. IF you tell this to anyone they will laugh .. DO YOU think this is my first wedding I've done .. this is my lively hood .. #3 - We were given by you a numerous page "thesis" of one big run on sentence of all requests .. requests of things we never experienced or heard of in 30 years .. We couldn't even make out half the things you meant. I can't help it if people didn't want to get up and dance with your sons line dance .. We CANT force people to get on a dance floor. #4. The crew sent to your event has been in the business for 20 years and one of the DJs is also a music producer in NYC .. we use them for numerous events and have never received a complaint only praises of how excellent they are. #5. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS .. YOUR SERVICES WERE RENDERED .. MY TEAM CAME ON TIME, DRESSED PROPERLY WITH THE PROPER EQUIPMENT, FOLLOWED ALL THE SPECIAL EVENTS SUCH AS CAKE CUTTING, ENTRANCE SONGS, SPECIAL DANCES, TOOK ZAP SHOTS, PLAYED YOUR MONTAGE & PLAYED MUSIC. #6. Don't black mail me by saying I will take down the YELP post and never post again if i give you your money back .. Your QUOTE "Once we AGREE and finical restitution is cleared, I will remove my Yelp post and all of the screen shots and will rewrite the review. or not, I will leave this to your discernment " #7. DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER ON YOU? WHY BECAUSE YOU TOOK PERSONAL INFORMATION AND POSTED IT OF MY WIFE WHICH YELP FOUND TO BE A VIOLATION OF THEIR GUIDELINES WHICH IS WHY THEY TOOK IT DOWN .. #8. MINOR OFFENSES AND TRAUMA OF WHAT? You had 80 people as you stated and I can't help it if people don't want to dance at YOUR wedding .. we played the music and we did what we were supposed to do. In conclusion, this needs to end .. I have never dealt with this in MY LIFE .. ever .. I have never been asked for a dollar back nor have i ever given a dollar back or will i ever .. I feel like you are just looking for money and services were rendered .. this has consumed my life since monday and upset not only me BUT my wife .. this is now becoming harassment from you screen shooting every single piece of texts and convos to now you black mailing me .. This is from a guest perspective I attended an engagement party and wedding (they used him for both) and I have been to MANY weddings and I would recommend this company. We could not have made a better decision when we chose DJ Agostino and his team for our event! Planet DJS is absolutely amazing!!!! We had such an amazing wedding and so much of it was due to the music. 90% of our guests were dancing the entire night. Augie was able to feel the crowd and knew exactly what to play and when. I am still getting compliments about the music that night. My brother used him as well for his wedding yesterday and it was another amazing night! Planet Djs did my son's First Holy Communion Party. From the moment I met with Augie he was very Polite and Professional. He explained all the different packages in detail. At the party he got the music going and the people were up right away. He played all the Popular Italian dance songs and all the up to date dance songs and everything in between, keeping my guests on the dance floor. I know the owner Augie, and by all means I am not writing this review just to give hype...but he D.J. 'd my wedding and let me just say one word...PARTY!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! (O.K. 2 words..) He REALLY did an AMAZING job!! And as soon as I get pictures back from my photographer I will post them.. We had a cabana, music was fantastic, the dance floor was always packed..and people that I know that never get up to dance did!! The MC was great and such a personality that captured the crowd.
