I inquired about the 1st wax free and was told by the receptionist and the esthetician that EWC never offers the 1st wax fee for Brazilians. I knew it was a lie because I know the owner of a EWC in another city far away, and I have friends that work at EWC's. Once I explained that I knew what they were saying was untrue the esthetician told me that the only reason places do that was because they need business. Well...that's what you should've said instead of telling a bold face lie on a whole company by saying EWC never gives free Brazilians . I told the lady that did my wax I'd never set foot in that establishment again, and it's a shame because it's in the perfect spot right next to Ulta and I'm frequently over there. I do love the EWC in Hesperia and appreciate a welcoming honest environment.

I was happy to hear that she went back to texting since last year she had me sign up for an app (vagaro app) to make appointments and it was difficult to find her and she also did not have her availability set up, which is actually one of the reasons why I never returned. The reason for the one star this time is because I texted the number in the morning inquiring about getting a wax. She now has an assistant that helps her with her appointments. She asked me when was the last time I shaved/waxed and let her know that it had been a week. (In my mind it was obvious that I would be wanting to schedule something out for 5 weeks). She told me "oh ok unfortunately we need 4-6 weeks of hair growth" and then in a separate text asked me if I wanted to schedule something out for another 5 weeks. I let her know that I was hoping to do that and then asked what days of the week is Priscilla in since I am only available on weekends. Maybe I asked too many questions (I asked 3) but they never replied back to me. It was later in the afternoon when I replied to their last text (5:30pm) so if I had to wait till the next day to hear back I wasn't going to be upset. This conversation happened on 10/23 and it is now 11/1 and I have yet to hear back. Priscilla is the only one who I have found that does waxing in the high desert so its a little disappointing when I cant even access her work. While her pricing can seem a little high, she is totally worth it and you can tell that she wants her work to be good. One of the reasons why I wanted to go back to her! But we will see if I ever hear back.

I forgot the name of the girl who did my service, but she didn't make me feel comfortable at all. She was very quiet, didn't explain anything, and just pulled the wax without any warning or reassurance. For a first-timer, that made the experience worse. I really wanted to like this place, but based on my experience, I wouldn't come back for waxing services. Hoping they improve their techniques and customer care.

There was no stress there. At the appointment itself, she was so welcoming and kind and had really great conversation skills. As for the waxing itself, Ashley is not afraid, and she knows what she is doing. She made sure my skin was so soft and smooth after the waxing, I was surprised how well and deep she went, considering I hadn't gotten one in a long while. I've had bad experiences at other locations, but this place is my go-to place now. She is gentle, careful, and accurate with her waxing. I have practiced wax on my underarms for over 3 years now, seemed like Sugar Waxing was similar so why not? As soon as I arrived, Daisy made me feel comfortable, she's very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I enjoyed getting the Sugar Waxing, still not sure what I like more but they are very similar. For any type of waxing you do, make sure you do the follow up care at home. It's very important; exfoliating, etc. I would recommend Daisy to anyone! Look no further!
