Right after a severe storm Art and I woke up to a leak in our roof. We called Nissi Roofing…read morebecause our neighborhood has several of his roofs. After Hurricane Beryl, the homes with Nissi Roofs had zero leaks. The ones that had been replaced by other roofing companies had leaks. Plus the curb appeal of their roofs was over the moon. So we called Edgar. Edgar was very professional. He went over what we needed to do. Even when we couldn't make heads or tail out of some insurance information Edgar came over and sat at our dining room table, read through everything, and went over it with us. He took care of taking our solar panels off and replacing them. There was rain predicted and he got his team over here and HE and his team worked from literally dawn to sunset to get it done. Yes, we would definitely do business with them again.

When I tried to call them back about a week later, I could not get someone to answer. After a week of calling with no one responding to my messages, one of their project manager answered the phone. Not only was he extremely rude, told me they called back (never happened), he started calling me a loser!!! I never have dealt with some company, in which I was just inquiring about work, that was so rude. Doesn't matter if they do the best work in the world, I felt I needed to let this be known. If I could give them zero stars I would

I really hate writing bad reviews but we wish we listened to the one review stating to not use this…read morecompany. I hope our review helps because as it turns out we are not the only family that Lone Star Painters has either done poor work for and/or taken money from. The paint team showed up late, left early, used the wrong color paint, did not prep our home properly and did a nightmare of a job painting. The way they tried to cut in the paint on our walls made no sense, they would start in one spot then stop and start in another. Leaving incomplete sections here and there. We are glad we stopped the work when we did but we are now in the process of taking legal action for our money back as the owner is refusing to reimburse a portion of our deposit. They only actually worked one day for maybe four or five hours but he's trying to charge us for two days. Then he explained that he had to charge us for the paint but failed to explain why he kept all the paint that he's charging us for. It's a shame because he came across as a nice genuine person but after requesting him to stop the work he has been untruthful and aggressive with his emails. Don't use this company, there are other companies that will paint your home without taking a penny till the job is complete and you are happy with their work! Save yourself the nightmare and headache and reach out to us if you have questions.

He even did a 3D design to show us how the finished product would look which I thought was pretty was pretty cool. The end product came out just as expected and as exactly how they said it would. I think that's a hard thing to come by in the contractor world. I had my other bath done by someone who I won't mention but that guy took 4 times as long to complete and at the end still felt like the job wasn't finished. Not these guys though, they do what they say they will do and stand by their word.

Short answer: trustworthy, quick, detailed explanation and great price…read more Long answer: I bought a townhouse in 2017, and shortly after I experienced a leak after a really bad storm. I had 4 roof repair companies come out to give me an estimate. It turned out, I had a leak around one pipe jack. Most gave me the option to seal around or replace the whole pipe jack and seal. The prices varied, but a coupe wanted to charge me double the others for pipe jack replacement. Finally, I got one last quote from José at Legendary Roofing. He gave me such a detailed explanation of the repair and my options. He charged me the same as the lower end quotes I received for the pipe jack replacement, but he also replaced all the pipe jacks on my house and did roof maintenance for that price. He also noticed some broken shingles from a tree rubbing against my house and replaced that too, all for a great price. I felt like he cared and took his time. And he showed me detailed pictures of everything done. Now, in 2020, he was the only one I called when I had a leak in a new area. He provided great detail, showed pictures of what was happening and showed me in my attic as well where a potential new leak could happen. He even gave me the option to seal the problem children for free versus replacing the plywood and shingles. I went with his recommendation to replace the plywood and shingles, and he also included some vents to my attic/roof for the cost. The repair was complete two days later.
