Pierre was on time and texted me to let me know when he was on the way (wonderful!), and he did an excellent job cleaning my couches and chairs. I have two dogs, a cat, and two kids so you can imagine how gross these pieces get! He brought all his own equipment including towels for the floor and water for the machines. He got right to work and was finished in just about 2 hours. He shared that he worked 10 years in a name-brand furniture store specializing in upholstery cleaning before starting his own company. You can tell he knows what to do when he first checks out your furniture before starting to clean. They were VERY friendly and they were hard at work cleaning the window sills and bathroom upstairs. We left and didn't come back until the next day. The kitchen looked amazing and all the counters were great! But the floors weren't swept - AT ALL. And it was rather egregious with dust bunnies and leaves that had blown in, so I don't think they forgot. We also paid an extra $40 for grout cleaning in the master bath, but that wasn't done. It looked like they ran out of time? I had filled out all the information on how many bedrooms and baths needed cleaning, but I don't know how long they had allotted. I came back the next day to sweet and scrub the bathtub and grout myself. I let MyHoustonMaids know and the manager contacted me and refunded just the amount I paid for grout cleaning. I'd use a different company next time - especially for a move-out when you don't have time for them to come back and fix it. You get what you pay for, I think, and this company is quite cheap.
